Review 2：Exceptional room. Well above the standard rooms we have had in the past 10 years in trips to Hawaii. We got a good price because the swingpool is under renovation and the noise scared people away from that area. For us that booked just for10 hours,to wait for our late evening flight, it was OK.

Review 7：Good view of the sea from the patio. Nice fresh water pool. The room was really a whole apartment, 2 bathrooms, lounge, kitchen, cooking facilities, etc. Parking was easy.

The room we got had two beds in the second bedroom that I did not request. I requested a queen bed in second bedroom. My 6' 4" Son had to sleep on a single bed. Very uncomfortable.

Review 28：The living area and master bedroom were generously sized, everything was clean and the space was well-appointed with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. I'm just sad we only stayed for one night due to obligations elsewhere... Would have been happy to stay for a week!

Review 29：We loved everything about Kona and unit #417. Our friends did comment that the 'main' bed was too firm. Although that may just be a personal preference thing, it may be something to look at so that everyone enjoys their sleep.

Review 30：Pull out couch broken w springs that skewered sleeper. Mamelukes of mildew and urine. Price was very high so expected different. Pictures lied. Parking poor. Motel not hotel. No lobby. Had to go thru maze to get to room. Total disaster.,

Review 33：Despite pre-payment for a 2-room suite 4 months before, we were given two separated rooms, 30 steps 4 turns apart. With the kids travelling with us, it was inconvenient. Though we were given a suite the next day, we had to unpack, pack and unpack in 2-days time. So what's purpose of advanced booking? The DVD in the new suite wasn't working.

Review 34：Good location to all attractions, food, market. It's in the center of everything in the Kona region.

Review 35：The premises were a bit shabby. An ottoman had a broken leg that wasn't noticeable until it was moved. A set of shutter was off the track, even though it could easily be fixed. The carpet needed stretching. The pans and silverware in the kitchen were dirty, and had to be washed before use.

Large apartment which had a very well appointed kitchen, enjoyed cooking, cracking the local ingredient code -finally got to make real pork ribs, US style - yum. Would stress however that this place is for a quiet holiday. NO chance of any fun interaction, given no bar, restaurant.

The fan in the master was so loud itwas annoying and that was the only option - light and fan. The masterbedroom window faces the walkway and there were no sheer curtains so itwas either very dark or passerby could see in. The furnishings in livingand dining room were dark and not evoking of a Hawaii or island brightfeel. The biggest surprise was there was no beach stuff in the condo.All condos in the past have had soft coolers, boogie boards and beachchairs for day excursions. This one had nothing! It felt like a darkapartment that could have been anywhere until you looked at the viewfrom window and Lanai. Have stayed at Aston properties before and beenhappy but this was a bit dreary and not clean at all. Thank goodness forthe location, and lovely views.

I would recommend it to anyone.
