Review 1：We could hear people talking through the walls and the footsteps from the room above were loud. The room will benefit from an update.

Review 24：The motel was a big surprise after a long day of travelling (since some reviews were not that good). We met very friendly staff members, got nice (although a little out of date furnished - but about to be renovated) clean rooms. The pool was fantastic for the kids and they even have a BBQ area. Chain restaurant next door, others further down the street in walking distance...

Review 25：They were very accomodating, my mother was with me, she is 90 years old and I requested a lower level room close to parking lot. It was ready ahead of time, and made it easy not to have to climb any stairs.

Review 51：Honestly for a motel is a po-dunk hick town that caters to drive through skiers or fishermen the Vagabond was great. I was surprised that for $79 it was clean, sow what current and quiet... Even thought fully booked. The TV is out of the 90s but otherwise it was great little motel with a nice firm bed, clean etc... What more does one want?

Review 52：After a LONG drive and very tired, we had just gotten to sleep about 10pm when the fire alarm started going off seeming like forever. After a couple hours, sleep again only to be awakened by the fire alarm again about 7am. Lousy restless night!!

Review 53：The fire alarm went off at midnight . It took at least 10 minutes before it was shut off . No fire. 730 in the morning the same thing happened. Not my idea of a good time .

Review 72：We travel to and through Bishop every summer. We have stayed numerous places and have never written a negative review. Our room had cockroaches, stained bedding, and the water was turned off with no notice before or during the outage. The manager was never "available" to discuss this. There was an accountant or someone else there but we were told by desk "she does not like to talk to people". We were very frustrated and disappointed. Trust me..... I read the reviews but I always think they are grouchy people etc. I honestly urge you to try another hotel.
