Review 1：It was odd that there was no wifi in the rooms -- you have to be by the pool to use it. The location of the hotel, while beautiful, was too far away from, well... everything. If you don't feel like walking or paying for a cab, you'll have to eat at the hotel. This is okay, as long as you don't want dinner: I was sitting at the main restaurant on Set Menu night for about an hour and a half until the last course was served. Feeding my bread to the fish was fun, however. Do not eat from the pre-made dishes on Creole Buffet night. That was not nice food.

Review 2：Upon entering La Domaine, I was personally greeted and taken to my room by the communications manager, whose name I have criminally forgotten. The layout and location of this hotel is nothing short of paradisiacal. It's right by the beach, the gardens are brilliant, and they even have an enclosure of pet giant tortoises. I couldn't have asked for a better room. It was palatially sized, and lovingly set up. The bathroom was spacious and "part" of the room, as opposed to the regular boxes you get in your average hotel. The balcony commanded superb views, and was great to just lie back and fall asleep on. The pool and the restaurant in the middle of it had great food, and quick service. Hotel breakfast was lovely -- be sure to grab an omelette and a crepe! On my last day, as I was contemplating asking for a late checkout (my ferry didn't leave till 17:30), I was called by the lovely communications manager, who basically asked me what time I wanted to leave. I was allowed the room till 16:00 at no extra cost. She even booked my cab for me. Thank you, Domaine!

Review 5：We had not a very good impression from the staff. Even though most of them were nice, they were careless most of the times: in the restaurant when we did a la cart dinners, they pushed us to order everything like if they were in a rush. In the bar, nobody helped us in the tables, we always had to go to the bar and order there. Same thing in the pool. We felt a bit abandoned in terms of service. We were scolded aloud by one of the waiters in front of the rest of the guests for picking up a cockie from the bar previous to the coffee time and 5 minutes later one of the managers came to pick up a cockie also out of coffee time. We reported the event to that manager.
