Reviews for Eleni Hotel

Review 1:This hotel falsely advertises an a la carte restaurant but this is the cramped breakfast room and there was no service outside the season. The most annoying were the bad design of the room and the state of disrepair. No bedside lights, hangers on a rail reachable only by skilift, and no table or shelf for items. The door handle came off; the shower handle came off and water flowed everywhere. The shower was cold. We laughed later about the 'hotel manager' idea of reassuring us: 'dont worry it was already broken'. Yeah sure, it should already have been fixed.

Review 2:The one-man team welcomed us cheerfully. He dealt with our maintenance needs quickly and efficiently. He served a beautiful and tasty breakfast.

Review 3:The view to the sea is fantastic. It is far out at the edge of the peninsula, so you will need a car. We were the only customers of the hotel due to winter time, and the staff person was more than helpful.

Review 4:Even though we went there in December, the place looked perfect for a romantic weekend. Yes, it's not in the center of Kas, but it has a really great location on the peninsula, with amazing views from the balconies. Our room was small, but cozy and, very clean, with good AC. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and was prepared earlier than normal time on our request. The only staff member we met took good care of everything, he was friendly and even helped us with a minor health issue we had. I would definitely recommend to friends and would like to return in a warmer month in order to try the swimming pool.

Review 5:Beautiful little hotel near the end of the peninsula with great views of the Mediterranean Sea. A short ride into town in the dolmus (shared taxi) which stops by every 30 mins or so.

Review 6:Rooms fairly small, very tiny balcony. But brilliant view.

Review 7:Staff were really very pleasant and helpful. Great location, great views. Room cleaned and fresh linen every day!

Review 8:Very old hotel, images are quite misleading. Water leaked all over the balcony from the airconditioning and it was quite intusive with guests looking over into the room, not private at all. There was damp and it had a strange smell.

Review 9:Rooms need updating - they are worn, small, weak air conditioner - clean, but ragged all around. The sea is a lot farther away than I ever imagined.

Review 10:Beautiful view, pool area, and facade.

Review 11:The only negative I had was the soundproofing.

Review 12:Breakfast was similar to most other hotels I stayed in and all staff was very helpful and friendly. The Views of the peninsula was very good

Review 13:BUT NOT ZERO TO SEA ; DOWNHILL , CLIMBING DOWN TO SEA SİDE CLIMB BACK AGAIN ; İN SUMMER MAY BE REQUİRE SPORT. WRONG DOOR HANDLE SELECTED PLANTS . VERY SMALL DOOR MOSQUITO RANGE IN TERMS OBJECTIONABLE MAY HAVE OCCURRED IN THE SUMMER

Review 14:PENINSULA OVER SEA VIEW 1 ESTABLISHED AS A VERY NICE PLACE HOTEL. SUITABLE FOR WINTER AND SPRING . POSITION FOR MOST BEAUTIFUL VIEW . AZ FACILITY FULL BREAKFAST AND DINNER SUCCESSFUL ALTHOUGH IT IS DELICIOUS . THE STAF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND RELATED. KAŞ MOST BEAUIFUL PLACE IN TURKEY.

The water from the toilette and shower smells a bit. But not too bad as we could leave the balcony door open at night and day. A mosquito net at the balcony door would be nice.

Review 16:Super aussicht. Ruhe pur! Balkon mit meersicht und umliegende inseln. Frūhstūck auf terasse beim pool mit super view. Sehr freundliches personal. Tragen einem gleich den koffer. Fantastic view from the balcony at the very end of the peninsula, view to the ocean and islands! Very quite and peaceful to sleep, you can only hear the ocean, so nice! Very friendly staff. Nice terasse with view at the breakfast.

Review 17:Out of town - not so good if you are diving early morning - but this could of course be a huge plus point to people wanting to be away from it all.

Review 18:Amazing postcard sea view, friendly and helpful staff, nice rooms, pool & restaurant, frequent local bus into town. Wifi throughout.

Review 19:Although the barkeeper is the nicest guy in the world his drinks sometimes need getting used to . But remember: this is Kas not Mykonos. The place is 2 km out of the centre - no problem with a car or a bike, but for the regularly scheduled minibusses we have not been patient enough.

Review 20:Stunning view every morning for breakfast - incase of no wind you can have it by the pool! The ladies who clean the rooms do a great job - tip them generously at the end. WiFi works quite well unless several people are streaming movies at the same time. We stayed for a week at the end of the season (from Sept. 20) so our boys had the pool (very clean) pretty much for themselves.

Review 21:I have booked a double room with sea view; only the rooms didn't have any sea view at all because: One room didn't have any window - it was like a cave and the other room although had a small terrace/balcony, was looking at hotel courtyard rather than having a sea view. We had a lot of cats begging for food at breakfast and dinner; some customers may not like cats or might even be allergic to them.

Review 22:Very nice location but unfortunately the design of the hotel allows only front rooms enjoying the view.

Review 23:room was dirty and badly maintained we ordered single "king size" bed but instead it was just two single beds joined together. walls in toilet were dirty walls were spotted with blood of dead mosquitoes

Review 24:excellent view and friendly staff

Review 25:Except the view nothing was really good;room was runned down dirty an definitly wasnt worth the money we paid. It wasnt central anyway. However stuff was kind. Though breakfast wasnt excellent either.

Review 26:There was a gorgeous view from the room and kind stuff

Review 27:Bedrooms quite small, but very comfortable. If you had a large suitcase, it would be difficult to stow it.

Review 28:Close to Syntagma Square and walking street, also the Plaka with its bars and restaurants. Walking distance to Acropolis.

Review 29:Cleanness should be improved, also the size of the room was very small. We couldnt find any space to walk in the room. Too many flys and moscitos.

Review 30:view and location was nice.

Review 31:Sea, views, breakfast, location.

Review 32:old bathroom. small room

Review 33:good place, beautiful view, very friendly personal, spetial thanks to Hamdi!

Review 34:a little bit small room

Review 35:Beautiful view, reasonable price, good reception

Review 36:some flies in the room at night

Review 37:fabulous location and view from the balcony towards the sea and Greek island nice breakfast tranquillity

Review 38:This hotel is all about your $$$$ €€€€ ££££

Review 39:View of the hotel

Review 40:Staff were teriffick, free WiFi, nice area but quite far from town centre

Review 41:Cleanliness of the room and the duvet

Review 42:Great view and sunset

Review 43:very small room

Review 44:great view and nice employees

Review 45:Room was too small

Review 46:Wiev

Review 47:Not all staff speak English and the bathrooms were a bit run down and leaked.

Review 48:Killer view! Great pool.

Review 49:The room wasn't cleaned every day

Review 50:The view

Review 51:The rooms were too small...

Review 52:fridge in the room not cold! Initially had an issue with the bed but was resolved, shower gets the whole bathroom wet which was not ideal, tiny bathroom, TV channels hard to find - especially english ones!

Review 53:very nice breakfasts, laundry service was good, nice location if slightly small rooms, friendly service!

Review 54:Dilapidated state of some facilities. No hot water in shower.

Review 55:Amazing views from hotel. 270 degree views of Med from terrace. Hotel is a bit run down and in need of some attention. We had a huge private terrace, expansive views, but broken chairs, dirty cushions, rust, cracked tiles and lots of rubbish around. No hot water in the shower. Dinner at the restaurant was good, and breakfast OK. We got what we paid for.

Review 56:the mosquitos - the whole area is infested! the rooms are a bit on the small side and not terribly comfortable

Review 57:the location is superb if you have your own transport; the staff are very helpful and friendly; the breakfast is excellent; the views from the rooms facing the sea is priceless

Review 58:It was Spring mosquito season on the Kas peninsula. Bring some repellent or bug killer.

Review 59:The spectacular view of the sea and shoreline took our breath away. We had tears in our eyes from the beauty. The staff served a wonderful Turkish breakfast in the traditional style, with the addition of pancakes for us American guests.

Review 60:It is not the fault of the Eleni Hotel, but there was much construction in the adjoining lots which was distracting.

Review 61:I would only stay here if I had a car, because it is away from everything, but the view is beyond description! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable.

Review 62:-Really small rooms (we've booked family suite) -hard to get withoutcar -nothing to do around (hotel is suitable only for bed andbreakfast), Kas city centre is 10 min by car

Review 63:-Friendly staff -amazing view

Review 64:The staff all seemed perfectly pleasant, but various aspects of theservice felt a bit slack. For example, after the first night they tookaway the used towels but never replaced them. I went to ask for some newones and was told they would bring them straight down, but they neverturned up. The window and door to the balcony didn't really closeproperly meaning that we came back to the room one day to find thewindow blown wide open and a gale blowing our belongings all over theroom! Not major issues, just felt like they could do better.....

Review 65:Great location at the end of the peninsula with some stunning views ofthe sunset from our sea view room.

Review 66:In 3 days we have faxed 3 times water heating syatem breakdown, 2 times water not running and one tine no electricity!! We eere informed that we have to wait 1h until the water heating system starts to work again however after 2hours there was still no warm water. The ac worked very loudly and the refrigerator in the room was not cooling down! The breakfast is open bude and şn general might be good but the omlette and creps were really cold!

Review 67:The sea wiew is nice but pay attention to book a room which has the view!

Review 68:Small room, lack of comfort, mosquitoes, the state of the floor in the room, unattentiveness of some of the staff members, lack of proper beach.

Review 69:The pool, the view of the sea.

Review 70:Very loud club-style music played all day long at pool area (which you can also hear from your room) - not the right place at all if you are looking for a relaxing stay. Some staff very unprofessional. Small room, not very clean, very cheap bedding.

Review 71:Nice sea view from room / pool area, good location if you have a car (5km from city centre) very nice and helpful reception staff

Review 72:There is no beach in this area. It's out on a peninsula that is not near the town. You need a car or taxi if you are going to stay at this hotel or any other in this area. Room small, but was fine for a one night stay. The food was horrible. Don't eat here. Was the worst meal I had in all of Turkey.

Review 73:The hotel has a fantastic pool area that overlooks the ocean. View is beautiful. Staff very nice.

Review 74:Small bathroom but very clean.I saw the standard double room and it looked a little narrow but comfortable enough for those who are not too big in size.

Review 75:Beautiful hotel. Very well placed and blessed with stunning sea view.We took the superior suite with a big balcony overlooking the sea which is just marvelous. There was even a bouquet of flowers to wish us Happy Honeymoon :) Very sweet. Thank you. Breakfast was good. The pool side is enchanting in the evening with nice Aegen music.

Review 76:a bit noisy pool area at nights

Review 77:view

Review 78:The best location with awesome views, the swimming pool in really nice.

Review 79:Very small rooms

Review 80:Views from the hotel and location is perfect (if you have a car). Staff are very warm and helpfull

Review 81:The bed and the small room.

Review 82:The view, the balcony and the pool.

Review 83:Very small room. The smell of the toilette. Non-stopping refregrator noise.

Review 84:The sea view.
