Banyan Bay Villas is a 1 hr drive from Krabi Airport. By boat, it is 40 minutes to Ao Nang and 50 minutes to Koh Lanta and Koh Phi Phi.
Each traditional Thai style wooden villa is adorned with simple décor made with natural materials so guests can feel closer to the nature. Villas are equipped with a fan, a seating area and a safety deposit box. Shower facilities are included in an en suite bathroom.

Review 1：The staff here made sure you enjoyed your stay from the minute you arrive to the second you leave, they really can't do enough to accommodate your stay. We were recommended to have a massage by Bee, who simply was amazing!!! A must if you stay here! The food in the restaurant is also absolutely delicious, loved the Penang curry and banana soup for pudding! This really is in the middle of no where and you really feel like you see the real Thailand. We shared the beach with about 4 other guests.... Amazing!!
Review 2：The price for an island tour (one day trip) and the food are more expensive than you can find in Krabi town.
Review 3：The resort located in the north of Koh Pu island which is very quiet and calm compare to the south (Koh Jum). We got a lovely cottage house just near by the sea so you can hear the wave sound while you're sleeping. Staff are very nice and helpful. Food was great!! You can rent a motorcycle ($350/day) to visit all the rest of the island. Coconut bay is a good spot to see the sun set. If you are looking for a natural relaxation place to stay, this is the right place for you!!!
Review 4：We have spent a wonderful stay. The villa was perfectly located in this natural environment with a close view to the sea. I was handicapped with my leg and the helpful and smiling staff took exceptionally great care of me. Nay and the other girls are truly adorable people. The lovely owner of the Villas also offered us some wine along with a warm evening chat by the sea. The bed was perfect and the food most delicious. I also congratulate Banyan Villas for the efficient transfer from the airport (30 minutes minivan +30 minutes boat). We hope to come back.
Review 5：We have had the best time at Banyan Bay Villas. Kitima and her staff were so incredible and friendly from the very beginning, they really treat you like family. We were so perfectly welcomed and looked after, and there was great food at the restaurant and good facilities for kayaking, snorkelling and motorbiking around. The beaches are beautiful and so private. An absolute must for anyone going to thailand!!!

Review 8：The right place to enjoy the calm and peace of a beautiful island. The bungalow are very cosy with all the comfort but with a distinctive touch. It's a very peaceful place and the staff is really kind and cheerful.
Review 9：with this price, I d like to have better facility in the toilet, it would be better if there is a shower seperately.（In our room there was just a bathtub,a shower inside spread water everywhere outside..) there is no wifi in the villa ( which is good as well..）

Review 15：A very quiet place in the north of Ko Pu. Perfect for some relaxing days! The owner-lady and her staff were very nice and warm during the whole stay. The bungalow only meters away from the beach was comfortable with three huge sliding doors which could be closed by an additional moskito net allowing the wind (but not the moskitos) blowing through the room. We had a good sleep with the sound of the waves in the ears.
Review 16：Spend there five nights as a couple at one of the two Villas that are located about 15m from the resort's sandy private beach. The rooms are claen, large with huge top to bottom windows that has mosquito nets on each of them, so we could sleep at night with all windows wide open , letting the cool summer night breeze get in without any fear from mosquito bites etc. nothing compares to waking up to the sounds of water breaking softly into the sand.
Review 17：Beaches in the south of the island are 'nicer', with beautiful sand. It will take a few more years for the Banyan Bay beach to be as nice. The family bungalow is (too) expensive compared to other (very good) options on the island. But it will not matter for too long given the advantages listed.

Great staff and hotel manager, all very sensitive to the well-being of their guests. Good food. Canoe is available for guests to enjoy. Mortorbikes for rent.

The place has fantastic staff who go out of their way to make your experience as enjoyable as possible (especially Kitima), is extremely quiet and relaxing and the restaurant has top quality food (some of the best we had in Thailand). Review 23：Not a negative comment, but Banyan Bay is very secluded so once you have spent a day or two on the private breach, and you you feel an urge to explore the island, you'll need transport. Moped is the best way to go. The roads are quiet and bumpy, so going fast is not really an option. You'll have the whole island at your fingertips within 1/2 hour or so, and Banyan Bay Villas to return to when you are done. Perfect!
Review 24：We loved our stay at Banyan Bay Villas. Kitima and the staff are incredibly friendly. It is a small place and you are made to feel incredibly welcome and valued. Kitima is wonderful with kids and loves buying them presents! Ni's food is fabulous and evenings on the terrace are breathtaking, like something from Out of Africa. All in all a bit of a special place.
Review 25：We were a family with 2 small children and stayed for 2 weeks. Banyan Bay Villas is a fantastic place to stay if you want to get away from it all and spend quality time with your kids. We received excellent personal service, had the chance to get to know the locals and just chill out on the beaches in around Koh Jum. Banyan Bay Villa has its own beach too.The food is good and the accommodation is comfortable and a decent standard. We would love to go back.

Review 28：Bring some clothes you don't mind getting dusty for the transfer to the hotel and back. Not a negative comment, but dust is inevitable when traveling dirt roads on the dry season!
Review 29：Katima is an amazing host and incredibly kind and welcoming person all round. She is doing great things for the islanders and her guests alike. The hotel has decent internet in the communal area, beds were comfy by Thai standards and her staff were always helpful and smiling. Bee does amazing massage. I would not hesitate to recommend Katima's place to anyone wanting to experience the real Koh Jum. Everywhere on Koh Jum is a challenge to access, the fun is in the journey!

Review 32：The staff at Banyan Bay are fantastic, so friendly and helpful. They areall local people but the language was never a problem and and madearrangements for day trips and onward travel easily. They do charge forthe pick up from the ferry at 250 Baht per person but you have a longtail to yourself so it seemed reasonable.The menu is simple but delicious and well priced - and the kitchen are happy to modify any dish to your taste or dietary needs. With only four other Villas it meant the beach was empty most days which was an incredible luxury after visiting all the other beaches on the island which had some people on them. The beach is quite pebbly close to shore and there are huge tides but the water was warm, very clear and full of fish. I would definitely return to Koh Jum and stay at Banyan Bay Villas again - it was a wonderful experience on an as yet relatively undeveloped island.
Review 33：Bungalow was partly open on top, so at night it felt a bit like a tent in the jungle. Beach in the bay not very well kept. They charged extra fee for the longtail boat that connected us to the ferry, but the boat was included in the ferry ticket... In our case an extra 1000.- ThB of pocket money....
