Review 1：I've stayed there before using booking.com. There were breakfast vouchets before but not this time.

Review 2：Friendly staff. Comfortable and clean. Easy access wherever I needed to be.

Review 3：Are room was wrong didn't offer to fix also, beds were full but requested a king would have settled for queen. I was to tall and hanging off the bed. Shower controls were brokenot and would not work. Told staff and got yeaher those are a problem

Review 7：Rooms, restaurant very dated. Room needed to be deep cleaned. Missing TV remote and when I called front desk, the girl says, "Are you sure?" "Did you look in nightstand? The dresser? Under the beds?" Lol. Not very customer service friendly.

Review 8：Owner was great. Loved that a restaurant was attached and just walked thru the lobby to get food. Very interesting layout...vintage. Owner let me park my motorcycle on sidewalk right next to office window for added security. Loved that he was bike friendly.

Review 9：We were given a Handicap room. without asking us. Bathroom sink is only an area about 18" wide. No room for toiletries. Small dresser so no room for incedentials on top Only TV. No Coffee pot (where would they put it) Plus I think they wanted you to use THEIR restaurant and pay $$ for coffee, I would not return.

Review 13：It was the perfect quick night stop with our little kids. Great to have grassy area for them to run around and the room was surprisingly comfortable and simple. We were very happy with our stay... We got more than we paid for forsure!

Review 18：Feel like the parking lot needs some work. I arrived during a rain storm and shoes were ruined from trudging thru puddles. Would be nice to park under front entry in these situations but every time I have arrived the entry is full of parked cars with no sign of loading/unloading. I have to assume that is permanent parking and not an entry for arriving guests.

Review 31：As soon as we opened the door to the room (#229) which was hot and a heavy smell (musty / not fresh) was present. The furniture was old and worn, bed was uncomfortable, flat pillows, no coffee maker. The bath room was very old school with poor repairs! My first clue no to stay was when I checked in and was told that breakfast was not included, when my internet booking said it was!

Review 33：It was a family owned business and all the staff went out of their way to be friendly and accommodating. We were on a 6 week road trip so it was just an overnight stop so it was great to have a restaurant adjoining the hotel (also family run). It was a budget hotel with upscale service. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. What else could you ask for. I have paid a lot more for a night's stay but never more hospitable people than at this hotel.

Review 46：I stayed on the way to South Carolina and thought for the price, you got a good place with friendly staff. I liked it so much and had plans for Rockhound State Park, I stayed on the way back to California.

Review 47：We checked in late and the front desk lady was so sweet! She even let us park our car in front of the office so that we wouldn't have to unload our camping gear. We had a fridge and microwave in the room perfect for leftovers, and when the hairdryer broke in the morning they gladly gave us a brand new one. Breakfast was cheap and super yummy! The waitress kept refilling our coffees and even gave us coffee to go. We were passing through on the way to White Sands, so we really only needed a place to sleep, but we were pleasantly surprised with the comfort, convenience and safe location of this hotel.

Trains run all night so sleep was interrupted repeatedly. Not in the best part of town - as a female traveling alone, I did not feel safe.

Review 83：The convenience of having a restaurant in the hotel. A full breakfast was part of the hotel price. They serve excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. The service was excellent! Thank you for your hospitality and gracious service!

Review 84：The airconditioning could not get the room temperature below 80 degrees. If it hadn't been for the ceiling fan, we would have had to leave. We checked in around 3 p.m. and turned the airconditioning on high. It didn't make any difference.

Loved my huevos rancheros and the chili rellenos were extra good and actually roasted be fore battered and fried. Really nice. Spouse enjoyed the handmade burger as well. Even the iced tea was good. Rooms ery clean and the bathroom was fairly well sized. And the price was incredible. Would love to come back. Bravo!!
