Reviews for Raffles Praslin Seychelles
Review 1:The connectivity to the hotel is not great especially if you are in Mahe airport. Spending $$$ per person and 4 hours to get to the hotel is annoying.
Review 2:This place is a complete paradise. Awesome breakfast, great service, staff was very very nice. Special mention for their server Neil, he is an asset to the hotel. They arranged for some honeymoon freebies for us which were really nice. There were some veggie options for my wife. The chef was more than accommodating. It's was a complete pleasure staying there. Perfect for a honeymoon :))
Review 3:The resort, the beach and the staff are unique. I bet it is not possible to find a similar place at Seychelles and on earth. Everybody is sincerely committed to make your stay unforgettable
Review 4:little bit more food variaty and events for the evening.
Review 5:great resort by any means.very confortable villa ( 187).pool, beach first class. personnel with few exceptions very engaged. late check out without charge.excellent breakfast. super spa.
Review 6:Very expensive Some issues with internet connection
Review 7:Top level rooms (with private swimming pool) and equipment, including restaurants and fantastic cuisine! Service was very personal yet not intrusive Very nice beach and pool
Review 8:The staff that met us at the Mahe Airport was rude, unhelpful and almost bordering on racism. With my wife expecting, we were hoping to be atleast shown some compassion but were instead dealt with quiet harshly. Once at the hotel, We complained to the Hotel Management who were very apologetic and promised to take this up and give us a written apology from the lady. This apology never came through!
Review 9:1. Room 2. Facilities 3. View 4. Location 5. Food
Review 10:Anse Takamaka, where hotel beach is- wasn't quite relaxing to chill on, too close to water and to wavy. So we moved to Anse Lascio every day which was a great experience. But it was a minus as we just wanted to have a great beach in a hotel.
Review 11:in some cases the service was really bad, wheather from the golf car drivers or from the restaurant waiters! The privacy in the villa pool was really bad
Review 12:Restaurants for the dinner were excellent. Concierge staff were excellent. Pool staff were very friendly. Vector, Edowin, Hani, Viki and others were really friendly
Review 13:The service at the Curiese restaurant left more to be desired although the chef did prepare the Indian dishes we asked him to - so no complaints there. They had the same buffet breakfast spread everyday - something that has to be changed as visitors here would stay anywhere between 3 to 6 days. They only had two bicycles and the rest were out for repair, the snorkelling equipment was leaking - lucky we had got our own. The costs were on the high side.
Review 14:The location of the resort is ideal - between the Anse Lazio beach and the Cote D'Or. Their own beach is pretty good as well. The resort itself is very pleasing, the ocean view villa was excellent. We also were able to get Indian food at the resort.
Review 15:lezards everywhere :(

Review 18:The food is very expensive.
Review 19:The room was incredible, we enjoyed the private swimming pool with a view, it was very quiet, the perfect place to rest. We loved the spa treatments.

Review 38:Meals too expensive compared to similar resorts; motor boatslanding tourists on the resort's beach leaving gasoline andsmell on the water
Review 39:Staff, service, location all excellent
Review 40:The road to reach your room or villa is difficult to walk, so you must take a club car from the reception as well as the insects .

Review 44:Service could be a little slow. Either not enough staff, or plenty staff, but they seemed not very attentive. Perhaps another dining option would have been good.
