Review 1：Overall, a very good value for money boutique hotel. The manager and staff are very friendly and efficient and the room itself is very good, with a nice pool area. It is located only a 5 minute walk away from Chaweng Noi beach.

Review 2：It's a little bit off everything, so in order to get to other villages and restaurants in the evening, you need a taxi or scooter

Review 4：Phillipe and his wife are very friendly. They gave not only warm welcomes and also provided useful travel info. Located on the half way of the hill, quiet yet near the chaweng beach, nothing to worry about. I would choose this resort again next time I visit Koh Samui :)) Just an idea....maybe can consider to provide fan or screen door so guests can leave the glass door open and enjoy the breeze without letting the misquitos in. :)))

Review 8：Baan Sawan is a beautiful resort located in a nice quite area on Koh Samui island. The rooms are excellent, very clean and have a great ensuite - lovely shower and toilet. Nice swimming pool to relax by as well. Nice breakfast with good western/Thai choice. We would have loved to stay another night but unfortunately (for us) it was fully booked out. So we booked another hotel and the owner was so nice he even gave us a lift to our next hotel, such a kind man. Could not recommend this place enough, will definitely stay there again.

Restaurant recommendations and local insights were outstanding. I was traveling with my adult daughter and we both agreed we'd come back Baan Sawan Samui Resort for another visit!

Review 14：The owners were great and very helpful and so was the staff. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The swimming pool was very nice. The breakfast buffet was satisfying. We liked the 5 min walk to the main street because it was beautiful. A great place!

Review 15：Fab place in Chaweng Noi. Philippe, the owner is extremely helpful and orientates you to the area. Sue, who works at the resort, is a one stop shop of help! Try one of her cocktails!!

Review 18：- received a great Nespresso cappuccino upon arrival, but at breakfast there was only instant coffee! - Level of English from the owners is less than basic (they had to ask their Thai staff) - breakfast doesn't match European standards (which we've expected with French owners) - the floor in the room felt sandy - the sliding door to the balcony could not be fully closed - strange window in the bathroom that remains always open without bugscreen - bathroom was flooded during taking a shower - remote location (400m from main street) : taxi required for every trip you want to make

Review 19：- the nice decoration of the bed upon arrival in the room - nice swimming pool with late opening hours (until 10 pm) - the French owners gave us good advice on what to see in Chaweng city center - Completely new accomodation

Review 20：Location was the only downside as to get to the main road (where you had to go to get any sort of transport) you had to walk down an unlit road past some locals and wild animals by a farm which if alone I imagine would be scary but was fine for us!

Review 22：Needed to take a taxi into chaweng/markets etc but only 200 baht so not a major problem. Beach and some convenience stores/restaurants in walking distance. Beds were quite hard!

Review 26：The hotel is located couple of kilometers from the main tourist area which we thought was perfect. Filip was very helpful fixing us the rental scooter so we could drive around and explore the island. Actually you would need the scooter no matter where you live in Koh Samui so the location is normal.

The breakfast was buffet-type and everything was there you needed. Also all the facilities were superb since the hotel has been opened 2-3 months ago.

Review 29：The towels didn't get changed as promised every 3 days. The tap in the bathroom never got fixed. The safe in one room never got fixed. The cleaning was not up to scratch. The owners were more interested in the French people and tried to overcharge us for the mini bar

Phillipe, the owner, was so helpful and friendly, always giving us advice on where to go and what to do and on our last day he even dropped us off at the bus station which was really lovely of him. I would definitely stay here again.
