Review 1：There are two Baan Talay's, Baan Talay Resort and Baan Talay Pool Villa which we found out when our taxi from the catamaran dropped us to the wrong one. Also the housekeeper locked us in the pool area with no way of communicating to anyone to help us back inside (had to climb around the side of the villa which was about a 4m drop at some points) There were also about 50 new mosquitoes in and around the villa every day.

Review 2：Staff spoke English well and we're very nice and helpful.

Review 3：Staff were a little useless in terms of their knowledge of the area, but although they were generally very pleasant, the place lacked a lot of the infrastructure their sister hotel had. The bathrooms could be leaky and stinky at times. Loads of bugs. Not a huge problem as it was not all the time only on occasion.

Review 4：Pretty good location away from Crazy chaweng. Also very short walk to a much nicer beach chaweng noi.

Review 5：- sometime the electric power shut it down by itself in the middle of the night - most of the staffs speak their own language - should have Thai staff

Review 7：The pool had leeches in it, couldnt leave a window open otherwise theroom would get full of bugs in a very short amount of time, says staffcan speak english on site but only 1 staff member at reception does andleaves at 6pm. Sink kept making loud noise every 15 mins that would makeme jump, very loud at night, went to reception at about 8pm and then gotbarked at by stray dogs that live at the villas and was trapped byreception in fear that the dog would attack because it was guarding theonly way up to the villas, had to wait 15 formsomeone tomcome and help.And lastly when I left for personal reasons and asked them to email medetails about my refund they dis not email me back after emailing themat least 5 times. I highly reccommend not staying here.

Review 9：Lots of insects in the room.. millipedes,spiders, flies and ghekos. [Didn't mind those.. they're cute] The office closes at 11 and after that you are on your own.

Review 10：The pool was well kept, room was large and inviting. Coolers worked well, they don't gouge you on the mini bar or room service, staff was friendly and ready to help as long as the office was open. Breakfast was hot and hit the spot every morning. Property is in a great location on the island for getting around chewang and the surrounding areas. Restaurant food was tasty. Enjoyed our stay.

Review 11：I dont like some service such as the shuttle bus from pier to the hotel, we have to use the local car to come to the hotel that easte the time around 1.30 hours and when we checked out, the maid has checked the room and found that the towel we used has dirty with something like the pink cosmetic, but i have not use the cosmetic this towel is dirty before we use but we just not blame it because we think it is a little thing. If i know it will be a problem when we out, i will blame for it at first sight. But the reception say OK about it, whatever i know she feel not OK. Whatever, i would like to say THANK YOU to her.

They were really sweet when we came back tired from our half day tour the reception dropped us at our villa without us even asking them.That was really touching plus they dint even charge us for the printouts we requested. Cleaning staff comes in everyday and were really sweet. Good breakfast. Really amazing for relaxation and honeymoon couples. Give shuttle service three times a day to chaweng beach at the baan talay resort. Its good for those who wants to relax and be away from noise and crowd.

Review 20：The villas where immaculate and everything was brand new! The location was a bit restrictive with being too far to walk to the beach but they more than made up for it with the shuttle services and then discounted taxi services too.

Review 21：The only thing I didnt enjoy was the fact that there was not always hot water in the shower, but at least its better with a little cold shower in a clean bathroom, than a hot shower in a dirty bathroom. (A lot of hotels in Thailand doesnt have clean bathrooms, this hotel sure have really clean rooms and bathrooms)

Review 22：The staff was superfriendly and always very helpfull. We had booked a stay for four days, but enjoyed it so much we stayed for seven days. Im actually still here using the best wifi I have experienced in Thailand. Perfect with your own pool and the housekeepers does a very good job.

Its good to stay bit away from beach as resorts near beach always crowded and rooms are attached as such no privacy. Baan Talay Pool villa is definitely the excellent place. Specifically the private pool is amazing.

Review 26：Very pleased and happy to have spent 8 nights in a beautiful and comfortable house. We liked all: big bed, nice modern interior, spacious villa with private pool. Rooms were cleaned every day and the pool also. Friendly staff, good breakfast. We rented a motorbike and quickly get to Chaweng beach, where sunbeds were offered free by the hotel. Those, who are not planning to rent motorbikes, can get to the beach on shuttle bus three times a day! Most importantly: everything is new and dry, there wasn't damp as usual in other hotels in Asia. Recommended!

We extended for one day with no problem, wish we could stay longer...

The location is alittle distance away frm town but its quiet for stay. If u are hiring a car or motorcycle. Its not a problem. There were lots of ants even on the beds. We rang the housekeeping to do the spray for us. The housekeepers were excellent. Folded my dirty laundry and kept my drying clothes away frm the rain. (Its not included in the policy) i think overall is great my kids love this place. But they really need to upgrade thier management as i found they are not so sure of certain things. More staffs needed.
