Review 1：Alittle run down, and board line unclean-

Review 2：Good vibes at ocean spray! If you like peace and quiet- on a budget and want to stay next to the ocean- this place is the best. Close to Zed's surf school too ❤️ the staff are just awesome and helpful which makes this place very comfortable!

Review 3：This place is magical for listening to the ocean at night and the constant cooling breeze (no mosquitos! Yaye) waking up to the sunrise and being close to nature.

Review 4：I was told that the restaurant would be open, but it was not. Also the AC in my room was broken. It was suggested that I simply open the patio doors but I was apprehensive about mosquitos in these sorts of situations. I am used to surviving without AC and kept cool with a fan.

Review 5：Although this hotel is only 10 minutes from the airport, it is not what I would call an airport motel. They seem to be a beach resort possibly catering to surfers. To get there, one has to make many turns and navigate narrow roads.

Review 6：I had a ground floor room which looked directly out onto the ocean. A stunning view each morning! Room was good size. Had everything I needed. Bed was lovely and comfortable. Staff made me feel welcome and safe. I will definitely return. It's off the beaten track so you do need your own transport. But that's part of its charm and part of the reason I booked it. It was a wonderful two week stay. All food was home cooked and I returned home the healthiest I have ever been!!

Review 11：It is called "beach apartments" however there is no beach. It is on the water but with large rocks between the water and hotel not meant for swimming. May not even be able to fish if someone wanted to. It is a just a nice view.

Review 15：The whole island is run down. Hotel is located among run down houses. Beaches were not as they are depicted in photos. Was solicited by hotel staff to sponsor child. Closest restaurant was 5-10mins away by bus and that was just for fast food. Hotel did not have hot water the last day we were there. Hotel restaurant was only open for breakfast which was nothing much to their continental breakfast but the same stuff every morning. Website did not say restaurant would be closed because of off season. We cut our trip short by 4 days because we were so displeased with the whole experience and we were on our honeymoon.

Review 16：*The beach located near the property was not suitable for bathing, but for fishing and viewing purposes only. *The breakfast was delicious, but we were given the same menu for six days. :( *The location is "okish" not easily accessible to public transportation, so we rented a car for 5 days.

Review 17：*The staff were very accommodating. *Facilities were very clean and hygienic. *Environment is safe and tranquil. *We encountered a minor problem @ the facility and staff members attended to the same in a prompt yet friendly manner.

Review 18：The wifi internet connection was horrible. It kept cutting in and out. The ac unit in room 15 was not working properly or was not giving off sufficient to cool the entire unit. The living room area which contains two beds was extremely hot at night.

Review 19：I enjoyed the ocean view and especially the fact that there were chairs where I could relax and enjoy the view even more. Also, I observed that there was a security camera pointing directly to my balcony and this made me feel more secure. Because of this, I was able to lay outside late at night and enjoy the ocean view more.

Review 23：-location was secluded, but not yet too far from the main city. So we had some peace and quiet. - friendly staff - breakfast was very simple, but did the job. Sitting on the patio and watching the ocean and having breakfast is priceless.

Review 24：The location was horrible. There is a supermarket about a 15 minute walk from the apartments however it is far from everything no nearby restaurants or activities. The cab driver the hotel suggests is a crook. The apartment appliances are old and rusted. We moved after 3 nights to another hotel. Would definitely would not stay there again.

Review 28：I did not like the fact that my room did not have a phone, or that my room did not have a view which I was supposed to have per my request. The staff did not seem very helpful when I did not get my luggage from the Airlines four days into my trip and when my luggage did arrive the Security Guard who filled in at the reception desk told the person from the airline that I was not a guest at the Hotel. Breakfast was awful there were no sausages, no bacon, or pastries. There was no variety at all only powdered eggs, cold coffee, and pancakes, no juice and the fruit although fresh consitsted of the same old watermelon and pineapple mix everyday. Overall the room stank, in fact the property smelled old and moldy, and the amenities were old and dirty ie: stove & fridge Chairs etc. The maid service was not very good and although I requested one everyday I never recieved a wash cloth. To top it all off the Wi Fi and cell services was virtually non existant. I also need to add that the television reception only gave seven cable channels with stations that delieverd very limited entertainment value. Due to these experiences I would not advise anyone to stay at this hotel.

Review 29：The only thing that I can say was positive about my stay was the location to transportation was very convienant.

Review 30：Stayed for 7 nights, room was cleaned on the 6th day because we had to actually request it!!! The facilities are in grave need of an overhaul. Cracked tiles in kitchen, you must request an iron and hair dryer to get it although the ad says it comes with the room. So much more to say. Not going back ever.

Can't say how much we are pleased with our stay in Ocean Spray - we were lucky enough to get to know the owner of a hotel who is most hilarious and friendly guy ever :) We truly enjoyed our time, the place is rather quiet and perfect for relaxing, as well as for surfers. Breakfast is delicious, you can choose from eggs, vegetables, toasts and cheese, but my personal favourite were yummy pancakes with bananas :) Ocean Spray is a business run with passion! So if you are looking for a relaxing stay in a beautiful settings, away from the city rush and noise, this hotel is perfect for you!

Review 33：Very secluded, ideal if you want to chill and relax. The appartment we stayed in needed updated mainly floor covering and doors/bolts etc, window shutters all broken cannot be used, making it a bit dark and dingy. I would stay again but partner would prefer somewhere more central

Review 35：We have just returned from a lovely seven night winters break at Ocean Spray Beach Apartments. After being checked in we were taken to our room, this was in the standard block on the first floor. The room was a little dated but clean but big enough for our our stay. The food, staff and great location is what makes this small hotel what it is and we can see why so many people return time after time, and we will be looking at returning next year for two weeks. Review 44：Wish the restaurant was open every night, the menu looked really reasonable, and we would have tried it, but due to weather conditions it was not open on the Saturday night, it was wild windy and rainy, and the restaurant is open air, it has a roof and no sides, which gives a lovely view for breakfast, but no good in bad weather, so very understandable.

Review 45：Fantastic view, we asked for a sea view and got the room in the moan photo. We thought it was an excellent breakfast, fresh fruit, yoghurt, toast, pancakes, maple syrup, scrambled eggs, baked beans, fried fish cakes, trea, coffee, and juice. Nice laid back area, we hired a car which was great for us as it made it easy to get around and eat out and about and drive to different surf spots, as surfer point is not really for surfing during our stay at the end of November.

Rhiannon and the girls at the reception were very informative and helped make our 1st year anniversary in Barbados so memerable and we will never forget it. A great place to stay, even the chefs were excellent the made me a heart shaped omelette for my wife as I wanted our anniversary to be special.

Review 87：A little updating can be done to the units. I hated that small TV on the wall in the bedroom. It should be at least a 37 to 42 inch. Expand your cable stations, they were extremely limited. Place Ipod docks in the units. A little landscaping and flowers would also help with esthetics

I love the sound of the ocean and laying out watching the waves roll in. I got a good tan. If management continues to invest, it will be a really great place to escape. Review 89：We booked this hotel thinking we could actually do beginners surf there (as we have been told by the property via e-mail). However, the place is simply too rough and windy, and there is not a beach at all. Plenty of light in the room from very early in the morning, too noisy because of the waves, basically it was difficult to sleep. The complimentary breakfast is really poor, some staff is non-responsive, there is not a real reception (you always need to ring a bell and hope that somebody comes). Stay away from here!

Sitting outside having breakfast in the outdoors cafe area was a real treat. Although don't leave your orange juice alone as the birds will come and drink it :-). The hotel was well signed and so easy to locate. It is just a 15 minute drive from the airport.

Review 93：These comments are honest and written to help the apartments management not put clients off. Loungers were virtually all either broken or had missing back rests. Room described as having fully fitted kitchen; 'a home from home'. Not well equipped at all. No plug for sink, no cutting knife, no cutting board, no spatula for frying pan, no microwave. Broken tiles around sink were a health hazzard. The room needed serious updating. No hot water in mornings. The Gazebo offered a very basic breakfast, but needs managing properly. When items ran out you had to keep asking for replacements, dinner was barely edible, so we followed other guests suggestions and took lunch at Zeds surf school. Excellent quality and very reasonable price. If Mammo's Gazebo could manage the facility properly and match the quality and price it will be a brilliant place to go.

Review 94：Greatest asset is the staff. They were wonderful, especially the ladies who cleaned our rooms. The location is good, great views. Excellent location for surfers being close to Zed's surf school.

Review 96：I was only staying overnight in order to catch a morning flight to St. Vincent. But, had I stayed the motel was very close to the ocean, you could hear and see the rollers coming in, very nice.

Review 101：Apartments could be better stocked. We did nt cook whilst there as we had only 2 nights but for a longer family stay it would be difficult to manage on equipment supplied.

There was nothing left to eat since the kitchen was closed. It looked nothing like what I viewed online so I feel like misrepresentation is an issue to lur the guests.

The girl especially seemed irritated by our very presence, like we were interrupting something, or as if she were annoyed that she had to cook for us. The overpriced food already included a tip, and I tipped extra, yet she still seemed upset. All she did was cook our food and come and set it on the table! It wasn't like we were waited on hand and foot like at a real restaurant. She just dropped our plate in front of us and that was that. We were so irritated with her that for dinner we chose to go buy groceries at a nearby convenience store, rather than eating at that restaurant again.

Review 107：Christ Church is a great location for consistent surfing when other areas of the island are flat. Big with kite surfing as well as SUP. Ocean Spray provided a great location where you are on the beach and close to the action. Zed's surf adventures is next door so you can walk over for you lessons or rental gear. Ocean Spray provided a continental breakfast which was a great way to start the day. Great place!

Review 108：The indifferent attitude of the kitchen staff. The dirty resturant andthe badly needed updating of some of the apartments. Needs much firmermanagement. Not good value for money. We did speak to theowner/manager and to be fair took on board our comments. He also didhave the kitchen cleaned but we did not feel confident enough to try asecond breakfast after the abortion of the first breakfast. Main roomdidn't have a/C. Just a fan. We felt as if our money was wastedon this apartment. It was given 5* but in truth it was barely a 3*.

Swimming areas were small but the surf was too rough, not good for children. Great for kite boarding and wind surfing.
