Review 1：Only things; showers seemed outdated so the water flow was not strong- we still managed to get good showers, and the odd fly that would make it near the food when guests come in to get food for breakfast; this one is out of ther hands.

Review 2：I loved the amazing location of the hotel, it's views, the friendliness and hospitality of drivers to and from the hotel, their willingNess to help as needed with any inquiries we have. When we were checking in, we asked if our room had sea view, and given they had 1 or 2 available rooms in addition to ours, they upgraded us to a corner room with sea view at no extra cost; the views were amazing. Breakfasts were delicious, dinners loomed great but we chose to have dinner in the city centre. The hotel oozes with comfort and serenity, it is difficult not to switch off as soon as one arrives, and it is very difficult to switch back on again once you leave it. I fell in love with Kas and with this hotel and can't wait to return again.

Review 3：Struggled with communication a bit because there was VERY little English spoken across the establishment. However, this is really my problem since I am a visitor in a local Turkish vacation spot so I wouldn't ding the hotel for this.

Review 4：The Oceanside lounging area-- AMAZING!! The property is gorgeous though I would suggest making sure you get a sea view room. The location was great and for those concerned there is a shuttle the runs to Kas square every 30 min for 2.5 TL. Food was delicious. Mellow and peaceful property-Just an overll great stay!!

Review 5：We booked the standard room which had lots of problems(door handle broke, fridge not working, shower drain semi blocked, low ceiling and cracks on room door. We complained after sleeping there first night and stuff moved us to a suit which was good. Swimming pool was salty. So we didn't enjoy it.

Review 6：The stuff there made the experience great, although language may have been a barrier, they always try their best. The location was great. The view is breathtaking and snorkeling is nice and you may spot turtles.

Review 7：Everyone in the morning before breakfast throws their towels on the sunbeds so I suppose that means its reserved. And if you go to the seaside around 10 in the morning there is no place for you to sunbath. please stop this!

Review 13：We stayed at Barbarossa in December 2014 for the first time. We stayed on the Meis side of the peninsula on the two previous years. The bay is fantastic and great for swimming. The staff is always polite and helpfull. The place was always dean and tidy, the staff never stopped working, except to play backgammon with my wife! We have booking to ho back in 2015 and can not wait.

Review 14：You could really tell that the staff were making a real effort to make sure you had a good time at the hotel. Visit was in late September and the weather was great so the bay side seating and bed area was a great place to spend the day. Breakfasts were very good with a wide range of food on offer. Though we didn't have them every day, the lunches and dinners were also very tasty.

Review 20：I stayed in a room with sea view and I should say it was AWESOME. The hotel is very quite, the beach is fantastic, the food is great. Great for a relaxing holiday. And certainly very easy to get the centre.

Review 21：Staff is to eager to clean the tables which sometimes results In taking your plate and drink before you even finished. Much easier to clean once guests are finished eating. But then again they just want to do their best I guess....

Review 22：Loved this place so much! Desperate for a holiday we decided to go to turkey and stayed in Barbarossa in Kas. A nice remote place with a beautiful view was all we wanted and this place delivered!!! Very peaceful, not sure if that was because we were outside the high season, but definitely what we wanted. Spacious, cool rooms, private swimming pool with our room/villa which also had a fully kitted kitchen etc. etc. etc. Staff was outstanding in helping us with everything we needed. Food was pretty outstanding and far better then anything we ate in the village of Kas(we tried a few places which were pretty disappointing compared to Barbarossa) no need to leave this hotel at all!!

Review 23：The staff at reception were less than helpful, there was no sense of hospitality and in fact it felt like you were an inconvenience. There was no introduction to the property or area and you were left to figure it out by yourself. The rooms are basic and dark and in need of tic.

Review 26：Great bar and restaurant staff, excellent chill out lounge next to the sea- private to hotel guests. Peaceful and luxurious. Extra attention to detail and services such as afternoon tea and cake- all delivered to you wherever you are! Dinner grilled fresh in front of you- excuisite! Spectacular views and scenery to wake upto. Very easy and cheap to organise activities through reception.

Review 51：Its a bit remote from the centre of Kas, but there is a mini bus service at the top of the 1:3 entrance road.

Review 52：It was a fairly quiet time for us at the start of May and it was just a one night stay for us. We had a satnav to help us find the hotel. The road from Kas to the hotel is pretty poor, but once at the hotel it can be forgotten about. The staff were very pleasant and gave us a room which was relatively easy to access from the road side as my wife has a walking difficulty. I also ensured that there was a lift to the other floors as the hotel sits on the side of a hillside. We had to go through the kitchen to access the restaurant, but it didn't seem to be much of a problem. There are great views of the sea inlet from most places in the hotel, the road back towards Fethiye is on the opposite side of the valley. Room Tip: A room with a sea view and don't forget that there is a lift if you need it.

Review 60：Location is great. A little out of center Kas but not far away. Only 5minutes of driving, which is an advantage for it is comparably more serene. The view is exquisite. There is no beach and you go into the sea by the deck but that is not a problem at all. I booked a room with onl breakfast and it was really good.

No hot water for showers on 5 mornings despite promise eachday would be fixed.Room had no information on hotel amenities or mealarrangements. No bills to sign after eating or drink orders and had toadjust our account with several charges for other guests. Security inisolated room poor as housekeepers left accessible windows open aftereach daily clean. No info that orange juice cost extra at breakfastuntil day 3. Very inadequate systems or info for guests

Review 63：The water is heated by solar panels...which I didn't know at first. So I took a couple of cold showers in the morning. Evening showers had hotter water...lesson learned. Once I figured it out everything was perfect.

Review 65：First of all, a quick note to those heading to Kas: I strongly suggest that you stay in the Cukurbag Peninsula instead of the center-Kas; and if you are staying in the peninsula, Barbarossa is a very decent choice. We initially had no idea about where to stay and then after having read the comments on booking.com, we opted for Club Barbarossa. It is a very conveniently located and decent hotel (4km or 45 min walk away from the city) and there are mini-busses running btw the peninsula and the center in every hour (probably more often in the high season). Room-wise, we couldnt be happier. The receptionist upgraded us to a delux room with a sea view (it was mesmerizing). We'll definitely be back soon!

Review 66：The building work was unexpected and felt quite messy around the hotel. Would have been nice to have been forewarned. The beds were too hard. Apart from that it was great.
