Review 1:Couldnt switch off aircond. It was very cold outside and inside.

Rooms shown in the pics were different than actual. This is worst of my trip & I hate it. I have attached pics of rooms for comparison. Never book this hotel on the basis of pics of rooms given by hotel administration.

Review 13:After wasted my 3 hours they gave me quad room instead or my 2 rooms suit. At the time of booking Quad was Sr.280 and they took Sr. 400 which i paid for 2 rooms suit. Receptionist collected cash payment and yet still collected total stay charges from my credit card, I am yet to get my refund back!.

Review 21:- I drove from Riyadh to Madinah by Car, after reaching destination , they told me we have no parking for you although it was a pre- requisite, even they told me go and check for your self ( first sign of poor attitude ) - Check in took Ages and they even sent me to the basement to sombody setting there to confirm my booking which is already confirmed.( second sign of poor attitude ). - The room which they get me in has no "shower" and after requesting several time to fix this or to change the room ,the trials started at 4 PM , at 11 PM one of the recieption staffs responded to my request by Saying (( Ya Habibe , call maintenance at extention 7 ) ??? am I the one who should call maintenance to fix the issue , Is it reasonable to occupay a room that has no shower or lamps in the lanterns or even good refregator. even though the problem of the shower was fixed after making a remarkable stand off in the reception with the so called duty shift manager ( who has the most poor attitude among all the staff on the 7th Jan 2016 ) - although I was advised from this staff that it is of no issue to park in front of the hotel in parllel position I received a parking violation ticket from MOI , so please if you are going to Madinah and the hotel has no parking for you you can park in Alharam A lnabawi Parking to avoid such penalities. - Really Zero Support, Poor attitude , poor facility , over occupied .......etc

This room looks nothing like the photos. Old furniture , bedding and matresses were scattered and stored all over the floor outside the rooms , i ended up staying one night then moving to another hotel , Do NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL , you will be dissappointed !!

Review 49:I was given room 504 first upon entering the room I found that hotel just did the fumigation( see attached photos) I can see the paste on the floor and all over the place. I have two children and the smell was unbearable. Went back to reception again and have to wait for long time, guess what the second room 605 was given to me was also in the same situation as 504. Went back again and wait again, I had some heated conversation, finally a third room was given that didn't, have the fumigation but room condition was not that good. I located cockroaches in the bathroom. I will never ever stay there again and don't recommend it to anyone! Stay away with this hotel.

Review 51:I booked this hotel on 8th Nov and was confirmed by booking.com. I reached Dar Al Eiman at 11 pm, with my wife & 2 infants. I was told hotel is fully booked, wherein they charged my card 5 days before my arrival. They took more than an hour to move me to a different hotel. I requested hotel staff to find me a taxi and I took all pain to get my luggage and family move at 12 midnight. How can they rent my room to someone else, as I have been already billed. My kids was crying to get relaxed but I couldn't ease them as I was waiting to get response from the hotel staff. I even asked for a manager and nobody was there to speak to me.

Review 53:Although there was language barrier, more effort needs to be exercised by the reception/booking team to counter this. They should be more polite, helpful and fair. Cleaning needs to be more regular and thorough. Hygiene needs to be considerably improved, especially the washrooms. Maintenance team need to be more effective and respond better to customer needs. We had no hot water for 2 days and the response was poor. We had it restored only on the day of checking out!

Review 59:We booked a suit with 2 rooms. When we arrived at hotel at 11 PM our room was not ready. They probably given to someone else. After almost an hour of fighting with them, we luckily got our SUIT. It was a shock when we entered the room. Very tiny 2 rooms, with one DIRTY bathroom, with virtually no place to shower!!!!! I was told that parking is available in basement, believe or not it was scary to go inside - It was one way inside basement and when I entered I found out that it is full and there was no way to reverse your car. I hardly management to take my car out of such small basement. If you need peace of mind, neatness and cleanliness, I would urge do not book this hotel.

Review 69:Check in. Took a long wait. No view from the room. It seems the hotel gives a room with no view of haram or street if the price is discounted, right? This is misleading. Location of room should be stated when advertised at a special price. Also no pool, gym, etc. In the west, hotels at this room rate have many facilities. The rate didn't even include a breakfast, seeing it had zero facilities.
Review 70:The extractor fan in the toilet is very loud and can distract sleep at times. It cannot be turned off as it is centrally controlled. The doors are heavy but not sound proofed/sealed so even the slight whisper can be heard from outside the room.
Review 71:Literally a road cross away from the Haram. The staff were extremely good and always cooperative. The overall service of the hotel was brilliant. Any issues would be resolved very quickly. Their check-in/out times were 16:00/12:00 however they had no problem with us checking in at 13:00 and checking out on the last day much later. We booked a triple room but upon request for more room for the kids to play, we were upgraded to a quad room at absolutely no extra cost!! Many good things to say about the hotel.

Then he showed us the same room which we saw online. But still nothing looks good. The cupboard doors were lose. Fridge was smelly. There was no bed sife table and lamp. The receptionists were slow. It took them over an hour to check us in and it seems to be a common occurrence. 4. The aircon/heater was poorly ventilated and hardly been serviced. There were molds in it to the point that me and my wife got severe sinusitis and lower respiratory tract infection. We were on antibiotic for a week. 5. The room was dirty especially the carpet (not because the housekeeper did not clean it. The carpet was old and it needs to be changed). 6. The window could not be closed. 7. The room was smelly from poor ventilation and old carpet. 8. The toilet was small and poorly maintained (the plug from the sink was loose, toilet cover had cracks on it, the shower room was small and the shower curtains were so short that it could not protect the water from the shower from overflowing to the toilet floor). 9. The photos that were displayed on booking.com was terribly misleading as it did not represent the actual room. Note: The price that we paid, we could have booked a better accommodation with better service and similar location. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone! Booking.com should remove this hotel from their list as this hotel would jeopardize their credibility as a world renown hotel website.

Review 94:I am really disappointed the way the Dar Al Eiman Grand, Madeena Hotel staff services. The hotel quality/services were really bad, reception staff was so rude. I have listed below some of the points which I would like to bring booking.com attention: 1. Highly unprofessional receptionist, they could not communicate in English. Very bad manners, unprofessional & rude behavior. 2. Reached 3:30 PM, reception staff asked to wait mentioning there is no room available. After wait for long around 1 hour+ they provided with dirty room in 5th flour (Room# 521). 3.Room was really dirty. Small room with dirty carpets. Lots of cockroaches found in the room, toilet flush was not working, Shower was leaking. 4.Room telephone was not available, even after several request they didn’t install the telephone. 5. No proper power points in room. No plug for electric connection for phone charger. 6. There was no chair in the room for the desk 7.The room air conditioning system was not working. Had to spend whole night without AC 8. Bed scattered outside my room and walk way area. 9. Hot water Kettle to boil the drinking water not available. 10. Waiting for Lift/elevator is another night mare.

Review 96:Hotel service quality was extremely bad, reception staff was too busy to handle all the client load. For any request their standard answer was 'come to the reception'. They were polite in dealing but hotel had too many problems. Our room card keys did not work and they were unable to fix the lock so one person had to be there all the time to ensure that the room remained accessible. At night lifts stopped working for some reason and service was restored after a long time. Staff was not aware that my booking included Breakfast and some unpleasantness ensued over the matter before it was resolved at the 'reception'. Despite the best efforts of the staff our stay was far from comfortable.

Review 106:We were not given Dar al Eman Grand!!! Were shifted to Al Eiman Taibah hotel. Which was good only from the face value. Inside the rooms were not very clean to be honest. And then the old deteriorating look was also very obvious. Shifted to a quadruple single room coz of the smell the toilet of family suite had. And in the new room, had to waste 4 hours in order to get the water heater fixed. These were a big turn off.
Review 107:First of all, the hotel staff didn't arrange our stay in this hotel. When we reached there, it took them a while to figure out and take us to the Hotel Al Eiman Al Qibla which is across the street. Secondly, even though we agreed with the reception staff that we'll checkout at 2pm. Still the hotel staff started knocking the door at 10am to remind us to check out!!! Then again at 1:45pm. Shocking that you don't let your guests take some rest and start banging their doors to remind them to check out???

Hotel name on board was also different - booking say Dar Al Eiman while its Dar Al Eiman grand and money taken by Royal Dar Al Eiman - I was confused and reception said that there are more than one hotel manage by Dar Al Eiman. No food in the hotel and there are no nice restaurants in the neighborhood.
