Reviews for Augusta Budget Inn
Review 1:The nasty stains all over everything. The horrible staff that was training a new person and completely dismissed questions that I had. The list goes on and on.
Review 2:The fact that I didn't die.
Review 3:On first appearance seamed a little seedy....when we settled not at all....very safe very happy....
Review 4:Just down the road to downtown broad street...bars eateries etc....straight road to augusta national for the masters
Review 5:Old tv- thin towels- minor stuff really. The positives far outweigh the negatives. Many average/poor reviews for this place but thats a little unfair. Remember if your at the golf you won't be spending all day in the room anyway so save some cash and stay here- more to spend at the Augusta National store!
Review 6:This motel has many positives. The rates were very fair considering it was Masters week. Less than half the price of a 3 star hotel. In Augusta but in a nice part of town so less busy than near Augusta national. If you have a car this is a great place to base yourself for the golf. If you haven't got a car (and a badge!) maybe the knights inn would be the ideal location.
Review 7:As previously stated, this hotel is in very sad shape. The interior and exterior are very run down; falling apart really. There are water stains, flaking paint, dirty rugs, stained walls. Many things in our room were broken. The complimentary shampoo was half used (only half full when we got there).
Review 8:It was relatively clean. Not great but considering the condition of the facility it was the only reason I didn't sleep in my car
Review 9:Toilet did not flush completely and often took 5 or more attempts. Room was a smoking room and smelled. The fact that this was a smoking room was NOT indicated at time of booking.
Review 10:Fairly clean and close to Augusta National Golf Course
Review 11:Men hanging over balcony possibly dropping items on my new car. But only the fear was there. Not enough face cloths or towels for all of us...not enough soap either.
Review 12:Nice Staff. Good room location in front. Good Parking . Nice decor in room Cleanliness of beds Access to Wifi was great when I used my laptop.
Review 13:*filthy - we went out and bought sheets to avoid contact with existing linens. Facility is out-dated and cheap, which is fine for a Budget Inn...however, cleanliness is not a corner that should be cut in the name of economy. *creepy guy that seemed to live there out on 2nd floor balcony in greasy recliner hollering randomly. *reserved/paid for non-smoking room; got a smoking room.
Review 14:*location - very close to Transition for IM70.3 event. *well-lit parking lot (at night) * price - price is comparatively economical (not an excuse for filthy conditions though)
Review 15:You get what you pay for. It was a crummy place with sketchy people. If I had been in town longer than 12 hours, I would have spent much more to stay anywhere else.
Review 16:Ac didn't work. Table falling down.had to plug microwave in bathroom.could not hear the TV.
Review 17:Nothing
Review 18:Kind of average but affordable
Review 19:Location
Review 20:Surprisingly clean. Bed comfortable. Hard to beat the price for an 'average', clean, adequate room. Location was great.
Review 21:friendly staff - great beds - super location -
Review 22:Staff Confusion not welcoming
Review 23:WiFi. Quiet.
Review 24:The rooms are severely outdated. they have a harsh air freshner smell that lingers in your clothes. Vanity was dirty.
Review 25:NOTHING!
Review 26:location and friendly staff
Review 27:Hole on bottom of door.
Review 28:Close to attraction we went to see.
Review 29:Manager called me 3 days later yelling at me about a missing pillow!......are you kidding me?
Review 30:Wear a full body condom to stay here
Review 31:Nothing except price
Review 32:paint flaking off, mold on walls, coffee pot inop.
Review 33:VERY VERY NASTY. NOT CLEAN. ALSO BATHROOMS LOOKED TO BE NOT CLEAN IN MONTHS. ROACHS CRAWLING ALL OVER THE ROOM.
Review 34:rooms had a musty odor. wallpaper was falling off the walls.paint flaking.
Review 35:This place is scary. If you want to feel like you are in a bad movie, stay here. If you need quick access to undesireables, drugs and ladies of the night, this is the place for you!
Review 36:Didn't have to drive home after the Masters, so booked one of the least expensive places available, which was probably inflated about 5x of normal price...
Review 37:Not very clean. Requested a NON-Smoking over a month in advance and still got a smoking so whether I wore the clothes I brought or not, I still had to wash them all when I returned home because of the smell.
Review 38:Very close to Augusta National and resturaunts.
Review 39:Wall paper falling off from ceiling, bathroom in poor condition, carpet very dirty, towels worn out, coffee pot still have used filter from ?, toiletries were a disgrace, soap was so old it broke into pieces, shampoo dried up in the tube. My spouse and I travel extensively, the budget inn is the worst.
Review 40:towel were like sand paper room was filthy. would not walk without flip flops on place. did not fill safe door chain latch didn't work. only one chair in room. son & I was at the Masters & if our wives had been with us we could not have stayed there .
Review 41:nothing
Review 42:The bathroom was filthy and the door was rotting. Totally outdated. The surrounding neighborhood is less than desirable and the price was jacked up for Masters week,
Review 43:My only issue was that the staff interrupted our check in to talk to the manager rather than waiting till we were finished to deal with their issue -- the customer should always come first.
Review 44:Killed three bugs in the room. One bug was in my bed. I had opened usedsoap in my bath tub. The front desk clerk was not smarter than a 10 yearold, though she was sweet. They charged me $10 for a 1 hour late checkout and the place was empty. I asked them not to come in my room until Ichecked out. They came in my room anyway.
Review 45:Cost
Review 46:When we got there she didn't have the room I had reserved but offered me a smoking room instead. The other guests were loud & kept us up all night, there was a door through to the adjoining room which made us uncomfortable, it was not very clean, bed was atrocious!!! All in all not one good thing to say. DON'T STAY HERE!
Review 47:Nothing!
Review 48:Part of town (no restaurants within walking distance), preparation of room.
Review 49:Closeness to Augusta National.
Review 50:Bed was very hard making it uncomfortable.
Review 51:Location was good.
Review 52:The place needs a complete renovation. It is not just tired, its exhausted!
Review 53:Very dirty, obscene writing on the bathroom door, crack pipe burns on top of tv
Review 54:Proximity to Augusta national
Review 55:The room was filthy, the staff unprofessional, had to get a replacement television
Review 56:That they had heat and hot water
Review 57:Not clean
Review 58:proximity to Augusta National
Review 59:Everything was great for a budget hotel.
Review 60:Proximity to Augusta National Golf Course--Security guard was on duty.
Review 61:It is not in the best part of town, but safety wasn't an issue.
Review 62:Well run and great value during Masters week.
