Reviews for Lake Front Cabins
Review 1:Shower/bathroom seemed out-dated
Review 2:Although my recent stay was only for two mature adult, it could have been a cozy size to accommodate for a family of four.
Review 3:The amenities had everything that we needed. My two sons and I stayed there for a fishing holiday. it was close to June Lake and the boat rental was discounted. The owner had some good recommendations for fishing.
Review 4:The property is miss-named...not lakeside. The view of the lake from (only) Cabin 10 is minimal. The bathroom is tiny, and without a tub. I've had better value for the money.
Review 5:However, Laura and her husband were most welcoming and helpful. The location is beautiful! The grounds would be fun for families or groups, with numerous barbecue's, a fire pit and fish-cleaning station...just a short walk to the marina and lake. Cabin 10 was spotless and outfitted nicely, with anything you'd need to cook in the efficiency kitchen; comfortable bed; great WiFi reception and a nice tv.
Review 6:Great, quiet location with a view of the lake from the common lawn area. Walking distance to everything at June Lake: marina, stores, restaurants. Wonderful host and hostess.
Review 7:Bedroom window was broken and wouldn't open, no electric outlet in the bathroom. Kids room was located in the front instead of the back of the cabin. Noisy vacationers around fire pit at night
Review 8:It is centrally located within walking distance to marina and town. It has a nice central social environment. Community fire pit and grills for guests use.
Review 9:I can't think of one bad thing about this cabin!
Review 10:The owners were amazing! The place was central to June Lake and Gull Lake. Great shopping, brewery, restaraunts and groceries were all in walking distance. The place was immaculate including the grounds. The staff was some of the nicest people I have ever met. They have a great BBQ area, that had a quiet time of 10pm which all guests respected.
Review 11:Quaint cabins with absolutely everything we could ask for. Friendly owner /manager showed us around and made us feel at home and welcome. Family friendly! We will definitely go back.
Review 12:difficulty finding when first arrived. better directions would have helped as this was my first time there
Review 13:beauty of surroundings, cleanliness of unit
Review 14:The owner of the cabins, Bob, was a great guy, and very concerned about our comfort. The cabins are so well equipped and comfortable. We will definitely be back!
Review 15:there was a nice stay there. the cabin is near the June Lake. the self facilities are very good. there were everything that you could use for dinning.
Review 16:Not a big fan of the rustic cabin type of place. Cramped shower, showerhead is great if all you want to wash is your navel and below. Mattressis obviously getting along in years. Impossible to plan the nextday's activities online, internet barely reached our room and whenit did it was so slow and unstable it was entirely unusable. Fine, ifall you want to do is unplug but bring along a device with a data planif you want to make plans and check maps, etc.Outdoor grills are in the center of the lot and it gets so smoky you can't open your windows unless you want to have all your clothes stink, so much for good clean country fresh air while there's cooking and partying going on, which it does until the 10 pm restriction. We did not appreciate the alcohol fueled ruckus right outside our door. There's always one cackler in the crowd it seems. Don't let the high praise get to you. Don't expect too much and you'll be OK here.
Review 17:Beautiful location, at the edge of June Lake, convenient for sightseeing, fishing, boating.
Review 18:10:00 AM checkout is annoyingly early and quite inconvenient.
Review 19:Cozy, friendly, retro in a good way. Nice alternative to "urban" Mammoth Lakes.
Review 20:I hated that we had to leave. Next year we are staying 10 days not 8. I wish we had more vacation time.
Review 21:Loved the magic you feel when you pull into your parking space. You are entering a story book of an alpine village lodge. Lake Front Cabins, a true dream.
Review 22:The location at June Lake can't be beat. Just steps from the Lake. The cabin rooms where cozy and we loved the fact that all dishes and cookware where also available. It is obvious that the cabins are maintained with love and attention to detail. Also our 5 year old daughter could roam the grounds safely. We will be back.
Review 23:The bathroom was very small and did not have any outlets for plugs. Also, the seating in the living room was uncomfortable.
Review 24:Beautiful grounds and very close to the marina.
Review 25:The lack of comfort and facilities in relation to the price. The sofa bed wasn't made, the sheets were in a box under the sofa, they were not ironed and even looked as if they had been used before. Some quite unfriendly notices were stuck on the walls, asking us to take out the garbage and do various things before leaving or else we would pay a 50 dollars fine.
Review 26:Our cabin had a double in one room (for my adult son) and two twin beds in the second room that I shared with a female friend. The twin beds are likely best for kids.
Review 27:Very friendly place. Nice cabin, reasonably spacious. Fabulous location. Great BBQ and socializing area where guests can meet.
Review 28:I'm a simple person,as long as I have a warm comfortable clean bed,a running hot water for shower and a working flushing toilet, that's luxury to me plus the cabin is well equip for cooking and entertaining.I also love that my cabin was separated from the rest.If ever I'll have another chance to go up to June lake,I'll surely book my room with them.
Review 29:Small parking lot, small shower.
Review 30:Warm, cabin style, friendly staff.
Review 31:everythig

Review 36:The location was perfect for traveling to and from where we needed to go.
Review 37:Very close to the marina, walking distance which is great if you rent a boat all day.
Review 38:Location, friendly owners, owner response to needs immediate, clean cabin and grounds, private fish cleaning station.

Review 49:Nothing, great place highly recommend
Review 50:Great location, quiet, very comfortable. Great place to relax and get out to enjoy the area.
Review 51:Small shower, having to empty trash, and not having maid services.
Review 52:Staff, location, out door set up for barbeque and fire pit.
Review 53:cabin a bit dark and bathroom small
Review 54:able to sit outside and proximity to lake
Review 55:a little bit old furniture, it's a real mountain cabin

Review 71:We loved our stay at the cabin. It was clean. The owner was very attentive and friendly. It's a great location everything within walking distance.
Review 72:No outlet in the kitchen, so we had to plug the coffee machine/toaster/crock pot on the dining table.
Review 73:Great location and really clean, cozy cottages! This place is great for families with small kids in all seasons. We walked to the lake and took a 5 minute drive to the mountain. Everything worked and our stay was very comfortable!
Review 74:Bathroom is too tiny special on the shower room that it was difficult toturn around even I was 150 pound.

Review 76:The owners quickly responded to our questions and needs. The rooms were clean and the location was ideal, near the marina and close to spectacular views and great fishing!
Review 77:A bit cramped for 4 adults. Water pressure in shower was nil.
Review 78:Very friendly staff and other guests. The evening by the fire pit was lovely. Nice bbq set up too!
Review 81:Kitchen arrangements unpractical. One storey cabins surrounded on three sides by three storey apartment blocks. Distance to the Lake means the cabins are NOT on the lake front, but easy walk to piers, through nature reserve.
Review 82:Excellent hosts creating a special atmosphere between all guests around open air seating and BBQW area. Excellent location to explore lakes and surrounding sites such as Mono Lake and Bodie and even for day trips to Yosemite. Good sized rooms with excellent beds and all facilities, albeit a little outdated. Parking in front of the cabin good for heavy luggage.
Review 83:Convenient to the East side of Yosemite NP. We had the cabin with a small kitchen, nice bath, and enough room for our stuff. Friendly environment and quiet after 10 or so.
Review 84:The weather!!
Review 85:We only met Bob and he was very nice and helpful. The cabin was OK with a complete kitchen. It is located in a beautiful area with mountains and lakes! It is very close to restaurants.
Review 86:It gets. Pretty cold in the bedrooms. But that is all part of the rustic cabin experience in winter.
Review 87:The laid back, non commercial atmosphere of the town and the cabins. Nothing fancy but lots of fun. Escape from madness in Mammoth. Ski then get away to June for easy affordable accommodations.
Review 88:Very comfortable and well maintained. The owners - Bob and Laura were very courteous and helpful. Definitely would be staying there in the future and would recommend to everyone.

Review 103:the heat did not get into the bedroom of a 2 bedroom cabin. Our cabin was dark - few windows ...
Review 104:convenience to town, colorfull trees and lakes.
Review 105:I thought it was falsely advertised. A cabin....hardly. it was a grossly outdated 1940s motel. A cabin.....nope. Good luck with this one.
