Reviews for Izala Boutique Hotel

Review 1:No

Review 2:I will write my comment in English, because most of the people could not read it in Bulgarian or German. My English is not so good.I am exceptionally satisfied and fascinated of the hotel. The building is very beautiful on the best place in the main street of Mardin “1. Cadde” or Boul. Cumhuriyet. From there you can reach many of the sightseeing places of the old city Mardin. Exact in front of my window was the minaret/ mizane of the mosque Sahidiye. It is wonderful to wake up in the room and to have this incredible view. You can sit and have a cup of coffee in the room in front of the window watching the mosque and the city. If you can not pay for a room with so special view (next time I will chose a room with a normal view) take a normal room and do not warry because the hotel has wonderful terrace on the roof and also inside the hotel. There is place on the second floor, you can sit in it and have an incredible view. The rooms are very beautiful, especially the ceilings, painted with arabesque by hand. All ceilings so good panted. Incredible. I love the arabesque decorations so much on furniture or on jewelries. After the ceilings I am surprised of the furniture, all furniture have wood-carving. Really very beautiful wood-carving.The personal of Izala is very helpful. They do immediately everything what you need. The managing director Engin Bey helped me very very much to find most of the beautiful places of the old city. He gave me on the first day a map with the sightseeing places and drew me the way how to reach them. My own map was not so good. He is so polite and helpful, all the time interested if the customer is enough satisfied. All guys working in the hotel are exceptionally polite, the man on the reception made everything to repair my internet connection many many times. The restaurant is also very nice. I love good eating. The breakfast is so delicious, includes everything what you expect like a breakfast.

Review 3:We was very happy in this hotel. My advice that they need to know more about the tourest needs and gaid them more where to visit.Mardin has alot of places to visit but it needs an expert tour gaid .

Review 4:The location of the hotel was very good near to the mosque and shops. All the needs were nearby. The hotel was wonderful well decorated, clean ,tidy, with smooth lining. The room was waw large with very wonderfull decoration as in the booking.com photos. The bathroom is big, with all facilites and complmentry water ,tea and coffee and a valuable iron ask when you need it .the WiFi is v.speed .The staff were very cooperative and halpfull with smilling faces .They help and direct us to visit different places in Mediat and hassankyf and provied a tour car .Always avalible when needed with very fast service. They were really doing their best to make the customer to be sutesfaied and happy. The breakfast was not as a buffet type but it was wonderfull with all different variety of food in a mini dishes. They have a very dilisuse fresh bread.

Review 5:Nothing!

Review 6:I wish every hotel could be like Izala Boutique Hotel in Mardin. From arrival, the staff was unbelievably helpful and friendly. We were given a lovely upgrade to our room, which we really appreciated. The cleanliness was top notch - immaculate, in fact. The A/C was powerful and quiet. Internet was fast. The breakfast was delicious and had great varieties. Not sure what more anyone could want in any hotel! Recommend that you plan a trip to Mardin and that you stay at Izala!!

Review 7:It is hard to find anything to complain about. When we checked in I complained of a slight musty smell in our room, this may be because our room had not been used in a while. When we returned after dinner, the odor was gone and never returned during our two night stay. The staff is incredibly responsive. We will definitely stay at Izala again.

Review 8:The service at Izala is outstanding. When I arrived with my family, which includes a 4 year old child, we received an immediate upgrade to give us more space in our room. The room was stunning with handpainted floral designs on the ceiling. The beautiful woodwork was perhaps outdone by the most fantastic shower I have ever taken in a walk in shower. The room featured a number of toiletries including a full shaving kit for my husband who decided not to bring his on vacation-- I was thankful for that kit. The breakfast was perhaps the most elaborate I have ever seen, multiple jams, several cheeses and breads, warm items like borek and eggs, and an amazing new treat I had never tried bal halva.

Review 9:Try to avoid if possible the standard rooms on the ground floor , looking at the patio as they are quite small and of limited natural light.

Review 10:Good location, clean, excellent amenities and breakfast.

Review 11:Nothing

Review 12:We stayed in a deluxe room. It was very nice. But we had a chance to check standart rooms, they were also very good. Next time we will try them. Also we offer you not to miss breakfast. It was very nice. The Staff was so kind and cheerful. Special thanks to Mr. Engin at front desk.

Review 13:The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms and facilities were clean. The view of the room Firdevs at the neighbourhood of the famous minaret of the mosque is spectacular. Food was fine. The location is central. Parking was not a problem thanks to friendly valet service at the entrance. I may simply recommend people looking for a romantic escape to stay at this hotel and ask for the room Firdevs.

Review 14:The currency conversion calculation was a bit high for our bill. The price was quoted in Euro, and we paid in Turkish lira. Next time, inshallah, we will just pay on our credit card in Euros.

Review 15:The facility was gorgeous. Staff was friendly. Breakfast very nice. Great location. They upgraded us for the same price, it was a surprise when we checked in. A beautiful place.

Review 16:There is nothing I didn't like. Everything was good standard and excellent service

Review 17:Staff were very helpful and professional. Hotel beautiful and the rooms also. Very modern rooms mixed with old mardin . Just perfect built hotel. Staff very professional. Breakfast good selection and tasty.

Review 18:Its a very nice hotel in the heart of the old town of Mardin. The fron desk service was outstanding because I dont speak turkish and needed a lot of translating help when calling turkish airlines for my lost luggage. I would definitly choose Izala again next time visiting Mardin.

Review 19:Mr hüseyin and Mr Erkan and all other staff were great.Very clean. Very helpfull. you ll enjoy your every second. it was truly a dream come true for us.

Review 20:this hotel is very comfortable for family and it's close to everywhere. everything within walking distance. staff are attentive and polite.

Review 21:Everything was good.

Review 22:Great staff, very nice property in a good location, close to fine restaurants and coffee places. On arrival I was upgraded to a better room which was very nice. Will recommend it to anyone traveling to this part of Turkey.

Review 23:The hotel is very well situated in the city centre of the old town. Opposite there is a café garden with nice views of the Mesopotamian plain, and also the beautiful minaret of the Sehidiye Mosque. On the same side of the street as the hotel you will find the post office just a few steps away. If you arrive with bus just tell the driver to stop in front of the hotel. It doesn't seem to be an official bus stop there but the buses stop all the time to let passangers in or out. I can not complain on the breakfast, there was both warm and cold dishes to chose from. In all I was very satisfied with the hotel.

Review 24:Very courteous staff; would love to go back. We modified our booking and cancelled the last day and they were so accommodating. The hotel is in an old refurbished building with stunning decor, reminded me of the havelis in Rajasthan
