Reviews for Scottish Inns Augusta

Review 1:Our room was a no-smoking room but couldn't hide years of residual smoke. However, this was a budget option at a peak time, and one shouldn't expect too much.

Review 2:Very well located for the Masters, and although close to a main road, surprisingly quiet.

Review 3:Very old, and run down. Expensive @ over $200/night, no alarm clock, show head more like a garden hose.

Review 4:Close to the Masters tournament - 1 mile away.

Review 5:Not thrilled about bugs we found in sink, bathtub, and wall. Definitely needs some updates and repairs but good enough for sleep during Masters week.

Review 6:Staff is friendly.

Review 7:Nothing. I may have lost a bracelet there but do not know how to call them back.

Review 8:After travelling for 6weeks it was great to just chill out and sleep without an appointment set for the next day.

Review 9:Asked for a non smoking room. Room stunk of smoke. They did offer to change but I don't think it would have been better in another room . their systems didn't seem to keep smoking and non smoking separate. This wasn't just someone having a quick smoke. even the bedding stunk. The continental breakfast is a joke. cereal, a honey bun and coffee. It wasn't even available at 8.30am until I asked. Way overpriced for the services provided. We are on a 7 week holiday staying in different rooms each night. I have stayed in better for $40

Review 10:Fairly average for the places we have stayed in.

Review 11:doesn't live up to advertisement; very dated hasn't had any apparent maintenance or up grades in years. the place smelled like curry. i was there for the GHSA state golf tournament and my players room was non-smoking and it reeked of smoke. Mine the bed sagged coach was covered with a comforter due to the worn out condition the room was so small they had to turn the nightstands backwards. My player and his father was approached by person first wanting money then later stating he only wants to get high. I would never stay here again nor would I recommend this hotel to anyone else. If i hadn't had a school check to cover room I would have turned around and ran. worst hotel I have ever stayed in during my 47 years on this earth.

Review 12:Honestly I didn't like anything about this facility.

Review 13:Units are small (bathrooms quite small) but then the rates are commensurate so no real problem.

Review 14:Close to Masters golf & not overly expensive like most places during Masters week.

Review 15:We were in Augusta for the Masters and the price for this motel was shocking but it was the best we could find for our budget. The motel has seen better days but the kind staff make up for the 'oldness' of the hotel.

Review 16:The staff are wonderful, so helpful and kind. They gave us an umbrella to use at the Masters. They told us to dine at the Restaurant right in the parking lot and yes, it was excellent though I can't remember the restaurant's name. Every day, we had clean sheets on the bed. We were late for breakfast one morning and the young manager quickly found us things to take with us.

Review 17:The Wi-Fi in my room didn't work and the manager mentioned that because it was just above the office that reception sometimes was not good.

Review 18:It was clean, basic and close to Augusta National for the Masters. The Mexican restraint next door was great.

Review 19:The place is very tired, I would not be my choice in future. It was clean and they changed sheets, towels regularly but rooms very tatty.

Review 20:Excellent position if attending the Masters you can walk to the course in 20-25 mins.

Review 21:It was pretty dated on finishes and furnishings. Door trim and some interior finish items were in need of some repair

Review 22:Close to most places of interest to us. Shower had plenty of water pressure.

Review 23:In need of some renovation to make the place look fresh. The price seem high but it was Masters week and everybody was high.

Review 24:Nice staff, Good location. It served the purpose needed.

Review 25:The smell was not so great when first walking in. Shower head was very old

Review 26:For the price it was not a bad place to stay.

Review 27:Handy for Masters golf

Review 28:bathroom outdated, really no breakfast to speak of

Review 29:clean room, great location, not the Taj Mahal but I''d book again

Review 30:near Augusta National golf course

Review 31:Air conditioning cycled on/off was too noisy to sleep. Beds were too old and saggy. All typical of an old, budget conscious hotel.

Review 32:Location

Review 33:Could be upgraded in many ways

Review 34:Location to masters

Review 35:Older property, but clean.

Review 36:Location to Augusta National.

Review 37:Perfect place for the Masters. Not the Ritz but it serves its purpose.

Review 38:Basic, comfortable accommodation. Great location for the Masters, only a 30 minute stroll to the Gates of Augusta. Easy free parking.

Review 39:Sheets were very thin, no extra linens, no blanket. TV was old but functional. Big old jacuzzi crowded the room.

Review 40:Location - proximity to Augusta National golf Club.

Review 41:The pool was cold but that was on me. Liquid courage.

Review 42:Clean sheets, shower and bathroom are very important and they had all three. The manager was also very helpful.

Review 43:Dirty grout in tile floors, in-wall hair dryer not in wall, nightstandin bathroom for storage, 3/4 used toilet paper rolls, no light coveron fluorescent lights, rusted towel holders, worn outfurniture/mattress. 10:40 pm phone call from someone claiming to befrom the front desk and needing personal information. Nightmare!

Review 44:Leaving this place.

Review 45:Hotel was a wreck, old, outdated. Furnishings were used, room wasdeteriorating, electrical needs upgrading, furnishings need replaced. This is a Dive.

Review 46:Promised free shuttle but was $10. each way Breakfast was meager and ranOut of coffee

Review 47:Medium price Close to golf course Old but clean Fixed tv quickly Closeto good eating

Review 48:Room was scary. We were afraid to sleep in the sheets. Other than the location there is no reason to stay here.

Review 49:NICE KEY CARDS. We could walk to The Masters.

Review 50:Facilities very old and outdated. TV old and picture fuzzy. Hair dryer died (started smoking) after 30 seconds of use. Counter and sink witth many stains; no stopper in sink. Needs some serious updates; Pretty bad when paying 200 per nite.

Review 51:Manager very friendly. Very close to Augusta National.

Review 52:TV didn't work, very basic but clean. Coffee had run out for breakfast.

Review 53:Visiting for the Masters. Ideal location near the course and I20. Much cheaper than other nearby hotels, comfortable beds.

Review 54:Property is a dump. Furniture looked like it had just come fromGoodwill, didn't dare unpack suitcases. No hair dryer, no coffeemaker as indicated, no hot water last morning. Room smelled damp andmusty, with lots of air fresher to trying to mask the smell.

Review 55:Location to Augusta National Golf Course

Review 56:This was one of the worst rooms I have ever spent time in. The groundswere a disaster. I expect the only reason this place gets any businessis due to the Masters and all other places are full.

Review 57:Not much ... location for the Masters.

Review 58:The hotel room itself was in poor condition. The air conditioning was loud. The amenities were suspect.

Review 59:The Hotel was very close to Augusta National Golf Course. You only had to book one night at a time, not multiple nights. The price was very cheap.

Review 60:Very old, run down, bed sagged in the middle, room had and odor, carpet was nasty, bathroom counter was sticky, my toothbrush and deodorant stuck to it

Review 61:Very close to Augusta National, internet worked great

Review 62:When I arrived and checked in I had to wait on clean towels. The roomfurniture was scratched and I found someones clothes behind tv stand. Ialso had to walk to office to borrow Iron and Ironing board. Then totop it off I was awakened by the police at 2:30am do to them searchingfor someone on the second floor above my room with loud door bangs andyelling. It was an awlful stay in a hotel that is advertised as a 3star facility.

Review 63:I thought there was a continental breakfast, but had to ask for cereal at front desk as only coffee was out - approached by panhandler in parking lot.

Review 64:Location is convenient, coffee and cereal available at breakfast time, budgetwise OK, room was comfortably heated, quiet despite congested location.

Review 65:Wifi. Had to go outside

Review 66:Clean and friendly. Very close to masters

Review 67:Noise. Room outlets & coffee pot did not work Towels were barely there. This was a $40 night value--but $150 charged due to Masters week!
