Reviews for Reverse Creek Lodge

Review 1:Owners are incredible. Great place to stay while fishing. Neat and well stocked cabins. Easy access to fish cleaning area that was also well stocked. I will stay here again.

Review 2:The interior space was beautifully finished wood, wonderful and pleasing layout, very nicely furnished, very clean and very well-maintained. The proprietors were great, friendly and committed to their facility and guests.

Review 3:A wonderful family owned business. We were impressed by how welcoming they were as if we were staying at their home. We loved our little cabin and felt the care that went into every detail. It was homey and comfortable and was equipped with everything we need it. We hope to return again and again.

Review 4:Bed sunk in middle . Need a new mattress Shower floor and caulking -in need of repair- 80 yr old wouldn't take a shower there . We are thinner people and restroom too narrow. Older person had a slight problem but managed

Review 5:Location -would have liked larger A frame .

Review 6:While the living room was warm and inviting with a nice little gas fireplace the couch in the sitting area was abysmal. There was no way to sit comfortably on it.

Review 7:Great little cabin with plenty of room. Very rustic and very comfortable.

Review 8:No room service day to day. Not bad, but know that this is expected. Also, check-in is 3:00 pm and check-out is 10:00 am. You can request a late check out, but if not, your expected to check-out by 10 am. Seems early to me since most places have you check out by 11:00 am or 12:00 pm.

Review 9:The location of the cabins and cleanliness of the place. The host, Dave, was super friendly and accomodating. The kitchen has everything you need to make your meals. Has enough dishes to feed a large family. Everything was super clean. Pans were fairly new too.

Review 10:There was nothing I didn't like.

Review 11:Just about everything! It had a well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Very clean inside as well as outside. I loved the fact that a BBQ and table and chairs were provided with the cabin. Perfect place to stay.

Review 12:Juno village is quite pricey. There is also no real grocery store so we could not shop for any basics such as fresh fruit or vegetables. But that is the downfall of the village rather than of the cottage at Reverse Creek.

Review 13:Lots of space and comfortable beds Well equipped kitchen.

Review 14:Reverse Creek Lodge was one of five places I stayed over the course of a week-long road trip, and was by far the best. The cottages are fantastic. If I could have stayed there a couple of weeks I definitely would have....

Review 15:there were two dogs in a house across the small street who barked until 10 PM. It was awful.

Review 16:The owners are very nice. The cabin was clean for the most part. stains on the bedspread and blinds had lots of dust. The barbacue was filthy.

Review 17:everything is perfect, defintly wll return!

Review 18:stayed in the cabin for 2 nights and we loved it so much that dont want to leave! Cabin 5 is small but so cozy, have a little living room with fireplace ( yes we used it and its summer here in CA) bed is super comfy and clean, as well as the bathroom. we made dinner there and sit on the patio, enjoyed it so much that we regreted didn't book for a longer stay!

Review 19:Cabins were a bit run-down on the outside. Reverse Creek is on property, but not very accessible. Small patch of trees was interesting for one day to our children. No place for young children to play. Location with regard to town and the lake not particularly convenient.

Review 20:Interior of the cabin was well-appointed and comfortable. Cabin was located in a quiet and peaceful area. What little interaction we had with the staff was positive.

Review 21:Only negative was a slight mustiness when we first arrived. But after opening the sliding door and letting in some fresh air - all was wonderful !

Review 22:Great staff and hotel room and access to all the places we wanted to visit ! The place can accommodate a large group but was very comfortable and cozy for a mother and daughter weekend trip.

Review 23:Nothing worth mentioning

Review 24:A Frames very quaint and well stocked with the necessities. A throwback to simplier times, but not lacking. Two bedrooms provide good space and works out well for splitting costs. Good value for money.

Review 25:Lovely, clean and well-appointed cozy cabin, location along a creek, convenient access to town, lakes, dining, Yosemite and Mammoth, lovely family/owners. Would have stayed longer if we could.

Review 26:nothing

Review 27:We spent two nights in a cottage as part of our 3 weeks round trip through California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor gas grill. In the near is lake June and also easily to reach lake Mono, Bodie Ghost Town and Tioga Pass. The staff is very helpful and friendly, both in terms of information (prepared description of the sightseeing sites was already prepared when we arrived) and also supported us in terms of a private issue. We would gladly spend some more days here on our next trip.

Review 60:What a fantastic location, close to Yosemite and on the June Lake loop. The cabin was well equipped and well designed. David the owner was very happy to help. Well worth visiting.

Review 61:A bit smell in the cabin, maybe because of the carpet floors.

Review 62:We liked the quietness in the forest, very well equipped chalet and the terrasse. Very friendly staff!

Review 63:The exterior needs some painting and maintenance from snow wear and tear. The entrance to the cabins could be better marked on Aspen St.

Review 64:Very nice family owned resort; rustic cabin with notty pine interior is very cozy and homey and very clean. The interior of the cabins appear to be well maintained. Review 66:Let me tell you....I can write a book about our fantastic experience we had during our stay at June Lake, in particular this location. We arrived late night after driving through the Yosemite National Park at this location. Fantastic greeting staff (young man). He was very friendly and welcoming. Within minutes, we were able to check in and relax. I traveled with my wife and two young children (10yrs and 6yrs). When we entered the cabin, all of said, wow...this is awesome!! Nice little cottage (small house) with all facilities one can think of. My wife and I had a separate room and my kids had another room and two nice beds. All beds were very good. We had a very good night sleep. Next day we were wanting to do somethings in the June Lake area and wanted to get some information from the cottage front desk staff. We went there and talked to this nice gentleman (I bet he is the owner of the cottage). He was very kind and very informative. He provided us with all maps and places to go (drive and hike). They were excellent recommendations. We all were very happy he provided this information, so that we could use our time at June Lake very efficiently and effectively. We did a hike, swam in June Lake, went to see Mono Lake, Ghost town (almost made it, I turned around when we hit the dirt road, just 3 miles to Ghost Town....it was getting dark too) and did plenty of scenic drives (all because of recommendations we got from cottage management). Night before we left, we were able to use the BBQ grill they provided and do a quick dinner (thanks for a great grill!!). We took plenty of pictures and headed to Yosemite National Park after two fantastic nights at Reverse Creek Lodge. We will definitely go back. We recommend this lodge to anyone who wants to get away from city noise and spend some quiet time in a very family-friendly environment. Thanks Reverse Creek! for this nice experience you provided us. I give you guys all five stars (if that is the maximum) and thumbs up!!

Review 67:We had a gas leak in the cabin and the owner of the facilities came in and argued with us and question one of the family members about being sick from the gas smell. Very unprofessional and because of this , I will not return or recommend this place.

Review 68:I liked how clean the cabin was and the location was great for my needs.

Review 70:The place is very nice. June lake is very beatiful. Love it! The wooden house is very comfortable. You can get food in the general shop and find the laundry near to Lodge, very convenient. You can enjoy your cook with your family/freinds in the house. Stay 3-5days is recommend.

Review 71:If you want to visit Yosemite Village, you have to drive quite a while into the park, at least 2 hours. But you'll drive through some breathtaking landscapes!

Review 72:The lodges are beautifully situated in the woods, very cute and cozy. It is also very close to the East entrance of Yosemite National Park. The owner is very kind and gave us some great advice about places to visit in the area.

Review 73:The cabin had everything we needed! It was perfect! They provided a fishcleaning station which came in very handy. There was a little storeacross the street that had extended hours during summer, which was veryhelpful as everything else was closed by 6:00 pm. Beautiful location!!!We will definitely stay here again!

Review 74:cabins were close to private residences and there were a couple barking dogs at night but was not out of control

Review 75:the staff was friendly and courteous, the cabin was fully stocked and very clean and was centrally located between the four lakes we fished.

Review 76:Not much to do around June Lake if you don't ski or hike.Duringwinter. Many attractions closed.
