Reviews for Venus Suite Hotel

Review 1:Staff is not that much professional. Dinner is so expensive so we slept hungry. On the check-out day, we were requested to pay more than the normal price. After making the reception sure about the price given us by the booking website, we made our payment and were free to leave.

Review 2:Good breakfast, and free service to travertine. Walking distance to travertine.

Review 3:The hotel address shown here was misleading. We drove to a wrong place at the beginning with navigator.

Review 4:The room looked nice and clean. The staffs are nice and helpful. Breakfast is good. Hotel can arrange free transfer to Hierapolis. The outdoor pool looked good, but it was sad we could not swim during winter.

Review 5:only thing that i can hear next door need to make thick wall.

Review 6:i was really happy with this hotel it's warm inside the hotel and it's very modern and new furniture and the food was great they have pool but i didn't try it cos it was -6 that day the owner family was friendly and 10 min walk to pamukalee

Review 7:Location is a bit far from Pamukkale, I mean it by walking but if you are driving, distance is not a problem at all. Anyway the hotel staff takes you there without any extra cost.

Review 8:Staff always in a good mud. Breakfast is reasonable and hotel is over our expectative due the price we paid for.

Review 9:Nothing

Review 10:The building is new, clean with beautiful modern design for the interior. Locations is great. Breakfast is super yummy. Service is excellent. U can ask Mr Salman to bring u to souvenir shops anytime which is awesome. The bed is very comfortable. The shower is absolutely awesome. Love the shower. room is super spacious and clean. Everything is perfect!

Review 11:Breakfast could be better

Review 12:Very helpful and nice staff, clean rooms. Free shuttle bus to pamukkale's touristic areas. If I ever come again to Pamukkale I would definetly stay here again.

Review 13:rude owner, they cancel my reservation after a left hotel, in that way to don't pay booking commission but brought me worries about my credit card, cancelling my reservation de can charge the night to my credit card. At the hotel only you can pay cash Too many flies in the room and at breakfast

Review 14:new hotel, very good option for pamukkale

Review 15:The hotel should have charged 45 euros as stated in the price inform upon booking but instead they charged 50 euros. I did not want to argue with them but the explanation was that there is difference between exchange rate on the day before and the day I checked out. They also applied their preferential rate thus they actually charged 20% more than expected price. I have experieced many scams in Turkey but it was the worst. I quietly made the payment but it is worthy mentioning of it thus the others have informed decision and not deceived by the 9.0 rating(not sure how they got it).

Review 16:Location, staff and breakfast. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Very good spread of breakfast given the value. Rooms of Venus suite were exactly as shown in the pictures. Enjoyed our stay

Review 17:Breakfast was meant to finish at half 10 but when we went down at half 9 all the hot food had finished. There were flies swarming everywhere and dead flies in the food. We opened a pack of butter and it was mouldy inside. Disgusting. I assume it was because of the weather but we kept losing electricity throughout the night and the following morning.

Review 18:Room was comfortable. Staff were friendly and drove us to the top of Pamukkale. They upgraded our room free of charge before we arrived.

Review 19:Location from the hot springs was further than expected. Poor lighting in the surrounding streets if you're walking in the dark. Couldn't pay on card however no advance warning of this. Staff not very friendly or helpful.

Review 20:Shuttle bus to the thermal springs.

Review 21:Quality of wifi connectivity (unfortunately this is common for all Turkey hotels, where we stay)

Review 22:Condition of hotel facility, clean and staff helpfulness. Food in restaurant and breakfast.

Review 23:A little far from Pamukkale town and the terraces. Only took cash, which is strange for a place with such high level facilities.

Review 24:Beautiful room, shuttle service to terraces each half hour (but walk back), nice pool, comfortable bed.

Review 25:Exceptional and accommodating service, cozy rooms, free shuttle to the travertines, and private balcony with sitting area and lovely view of the quaint town.

Review 26:Dinning room a little basic - and a Bar would have been enjoyed rather than just order drinks from the table.

Review 27:Excellent re-furbishment, comfortable, large rooms and the balcony (which our rooms had) would be well used in hot weather. Staff were friendly and helpful as most Turks are. The best hotel that we've stayed in in Pamukkale. Will return there next year.

Review 28:The rooms are modern with all facilities provided. The shower was excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We used the restaurant in the evening and the service and food was excellent.

Review 29:Slight smell from the bathroom but that seems to be in all Turkish places we stayed. Something to do with not using s-bends in their plumbing!

Review 30:Great place to stay as it is like new and has everything. We loved that they had bedside tables with individual reading lights and lamps - not common in Turkey. It has a nice outlook towards the travertines in the hallway and some rooms I guess. The breakfast was good and they had the best hot coffee of any place we have stayed. The pool looked lovely and clean but too cold for swimming. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the dinner food was delicious albeit a little pricey we thought.

Review 31:Sound insulation is not good

Review 32:New decorate, and be very clean. the staff offer informations for us and when we go to pamukkale, they send us to the gate of hierapolis, it is convienient to walk through the whole scenic spot

Review 33:Everything Was wonderful!! Breakfast superior! Staff the best i have èver met! They suggested us many useful things like restaurant shopping tour, they took us from the hotel to the archeological sure for free! They Are wonderful The room Was really clean!

Review 34:1) Location: it's pretty close to travertines and they provide ftee shuttle every 30 mins if you don't want to have a 10 mins walk. It's also convinient if you ride on DOLMUS from Denizli, as it passes right near the hotel. 2) Building andfacilities: pretty new andwellmaintained building. Nice room and bathroom.

Review 35:The breakfast was average with pool quality of the food materials. Towel rack in the bathroom was too high that normal people could not get it easily.

Review 36:The staff were very friendly during our one night stay. The hotel has arranged transportation for free and sent us to Pummkale spring. The driver was very patient and kind. Then we were staying at the hotel to wait for the airport shuttle for almost 3 hours. Eventhough the hotel did not have beverage service except for breakfast, the gentlemen still offered us coffee for free. The entire stay was pleasant and the room was very clean and comfortable.

Review 37:The breakfast was mediocre. Variety does not mean good per se. The coffe was unusually tasty though.

Review 38:The people were really friendly and helpful. The place has been recently renovated and the place is unique.

Review 39:The hotel was cozy and felt very traditional. The deco was nice. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, they could also speak English well. The hotel offered a free shuttle service to the city's major tourist attraction. The breakfast was good and offered a good variety. The food in the hotel restaurant was very good. We could not use to the pool because it was quite cold.

Review 40:Great hotel combined with hostel close to the Pammukale gate to the travertines and main area for food/markets. They offer a free shuttle up to the South Gate regularly (for starting at the top of the site). Great breaky. Great value!

Review 41:There was animal smell from neighbors. Breakfast is really bad, poor choice, terrible coffee, instead of juice there was served terrible powder drink.

Review 42:Seems as the best hotel in Pammukkalle, new and clean.

Review 43:Comfortable bed Good food Room giving the flavour of Turkish decor as well as modern amenities. Pick up from dolmas stand on giving the hotel a call.

Review 44:The facility is good in general. The light in the bathroom does not work in the begging, but the staff come to fix it soon. Nice experience staying here.

Review 45:Lovely buffet breakfast. Very comfortable beds. Easy walk to the attractions-about 7 minutes away. Lots of lovely restaurants to choose from along the way.

Review 46:some dog ,cat disturbing us during dinner .we are not fond of animals .flies disturbing during break fast .may be they can take little more care .we found less staff partcularly in reception ,but that could be due to eid holidays .

Review 47:room was nice .they given us a room from where you can see travertine.tourist spots very close from hotel.new hotel.new furniture.hotel staff behaved well .

Review 48:Hot water did not last very long. Average Turkish breakfast.

Review 49:Car parking available on site. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Staff helpful with directions. Balcony view of travestines. WiFi in room. Located in quiet part of town and within 10 minutes walk to town centre and restaurants. Travestines within 15 minutes walk or hotel will arrange shuttle bus.

Review 50:A little out of town but the owner is happy to drive you anywhere Unfortunately my room smelt of cigarettes (assume that the prior occupants smoked in there when they shouldn't have)

Review 51:Lovely staff - very friendly and helpful. Very clean, modern facilities and lovely breakfast.

Review 52:Really worhy of the money, especially in such a famous place, it's quiet at night, and we all take a good rest, the smell are bad, so you can't open the window at night. The beautiful girl at the reception is the nephew of the boss, very kind and beautiful lady, we all like her, and the boss also, very very kind to all the customer, and always offer help to customers. I'll definetly recommand this hotel to all for their wonderful service!Thank you so much!

Review 53:We love the room. Huge and spacious for 4 persons. We love the staff. They were friendly, helpful and very warmth. We love their food; not just the breakfast that came with the room rate. But also the dinner which we came back for more the second night.

Review 54:Fairly new hotel complex. Rooms were very clean and good size with lovely bathroom. Excellent value for money. Buffet breakfast had a good selection including fresh fruit. We had dinner at the on-site restaurant. The meal was nice and good value.

Review 55:All good - got much more for the price than we thought we would. Rooms were spacious and clean as was the bathroom and the staff were friendly and arranged a free transfer to Hieropolos/Travertines

Review 56:they try to push us to have dinner at their restaurant which is more expensive than that of down town.

Review 57:the hotel upgrade the room for us to be a suit :)

Review 58:The location is rural and for people used to urban life it will be a surprise to smell the nearby cattle stables.

Review 59:The hotel is a surprise of comfort in the small tourist town of Pamukkale. The design of the hotel is a mixture of traditional Turkish styles and contemporary amenities in the facilities - Wi-Fi, elevator, phones in every room, etc. Every room has a terrace and the place is charmingly restful.

Review 60:I think the "what didn't you like" question could safely be removed from this hotel

Review 61:Staff fantastic and shuttle you around for free. Room perfect - little touches like decent (very good) toiletries and complimentary bathrobes and slippers make your stay even more enjoyable (if that's possible). Food great. Shower fantastic. Bed ery comfortable. Out of the way of the hustle and bustle of town. Peace, quiet and tranquility after the sun and crowds of Pammukale. I could honestly write page upon page about the good attributes but all I need to say is ..... Just go there, you will NOT be disappointed.

Review 62:I wouldn't call it a bad experience, but the one exception to my very plus comments were the room locks. If you are not used to the design it can take minutes to lock and unlock. How about sensory cards which are in almost all hotels?

Review 63:Friendly and helpful staff Very modern well designed hotel room

Review 64:Room facing the main road so it was a bit noisy.

Review 65:The shuttle service to upper gate of hierapolis! Staffs are helpful. Dinner at the restaurant was great. Like their shower!

Review 66:Nothing at all!

Review 67:Literally the best hotel I've stayed in my turkey trip, but not the most expensive one! The suite we got is very spacious, 2 comfortable bedrooms plus one fab living room with bright glass wall. Very powerful water in the shower made my shower time so enjoyable! The hotel has 2 swimming pool which are maintained very clean. The breakfast is good with variety. The dinner restaurant is tasty and large portion! And the best thing is the hotel provide free drive to Pumukkale whenever you request! How convenient is that! And it's even not far away by walking as well~ My parents and I enjoyed 2 whole natural spa day in beautiful landscape, we wish we can stay longer!

Review 68:The room has an (almost negligible) bit of smell of the construction materials.

Review 69:1. Good location. Situated in a village right under the Northern Gate of Hierapolis. Although a bit off road, the hotel has good signs along the road that are clear. 2. Good parking for free. 3. Friendly English spoken staff. 4. Very lovely restaurant inside the hotel offering mouthwatering produce and tasty meals. Actually, surprisingly one of the best we have had in Turkey so far.

Review 70:You have to pay cash

Review 71:The space in the family rooms is excellent, stuff is new, swimming pool is good, breakfast and dinner good and staff speak English.

Review 72:nothing

Review 73:visited with family, booked three rooms, all the rooms well equipped, modern and clean. Breakfast typical and the restaurant provides evening meals as well. Swimming Pool nice and in a nice relaxing garden. Staff on the whole very friendly, only a short distance from the site of Pamukkale

Review 74:Air conditioner was not functioning correctly on a really hot day. Manager got it working after two attempts and repeated requests. . Would have been a horrible night.

Review 75:New hotel. A real value. Best in the area.

Review 76:Not in the city centre but there is a free shuttle service on request. WiFi could be a bit better.

Review 77:Excellent breakfast which is included in the price. Good value for money. Spacious and well decorated room. Excellent shower with different modes!! Super nice staffs with lots of handy info.

Review 78:For those not inclined to walk, it is about 10 minute (easy) walk from the village centre.

Review 79:Beautiful hotel, great breakfast, shuttle bus to Pamukkale site, attentive staff, all in all wonderful

Review 80:Someone mentioned the smell of animal outputs but if you closed the window that's OK.

Review 81:The hotel room charge is very reasonable! They provide free shuttle to the White Castle at the higher gate where the Hierapolis is.You can visit the ancient sights and visit the white castle ,then go down to the lower gate and walk to the hotel just couple minutes! Try lamb kebab of the inside restaurants it taste good. The dog they have pretect us from the cats which is trying to steal our fish. That's a lovely place to stay!

Review 82:We were not told it is cash only. Good thing we had enough cash on hand. Also it was very hard to find and not located in the best part of town.

Review 83:Pretty nice facility

Review 84:Nothing about the accommodation, we would definitely return here! Just noting: their restaurant was really terrible experience. It could be because we had late lunch at around 3pm, but they should have rather refuse us than serve us the worst dish of our entire trip. Pamukkale is rather poor on good dining options though.

Review 85:- Beautiful, clean rooms clad in polished rock. Terrace with seating and beautiful views of Denizli valley. The beautiful, clean decor of the room seems almost out of the place in such a small village :) - Kind staff at the reception.

Review 86:Poor sound-proofing. Narrow double beds. Poor breakfast selection.

Review 87:The hotel actually looks better than it does on the photos. Free shuttle bus to the top entrance of Pamukkale. Helpful English-speaking staff.

Review 88:Curtains are not very dark so light is passing in the morning. The isolation between rooms is not very god so you can hear your neighbors and what happens in the corridor.

Review 89:One of the best hotel we've been to in Turkey. The hotel has been renewed this year, so everything is very nice and clean. They have a small but nice pool, good wifi in rooms and common areas, good breakfast. Rooms are big with a comfortable bed, very big bathroom with a fantastic shower and complementary slippers and bathrobe, and also a small terrace.

Review 90:The lift door is operated manually which means it is often slammed shut which is loud if you are in a room nearby (as we were).

Review 91:A very new and well kept hotel. The rooms are very nice and so are the bathrooms. The pool is a good temperature and perfect for relaxing in or by. The breakfast has a large selection and the restaurant serves very good food for dinner. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and will arrange tours for you to nearby sights.

Review 92:Nothing.

Review 93:Amazing hotel. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Near the top of the hill for great view at sunrise and sunset. Exceeded expectation! Would definitely stay again.

Review 94:Main receptionist works hard and is the owner who helps to run the family business, but gave off a strange vibe. The hotel also seems to run a monopoly on most of the tourists that come in. Definitely seems like a white man's resort, not a quaint Turkish hotel. Try and go out to eat a meal!

Review 95:The facilities were just amazing, great outdoor spaces to eat breakfast in the morning sun, and a fantastically lit pergola space in the night time for lounging about. It was very close the Hierapolis and the salt flats. They also drove you up to the entrance for free.

Review 96:Wifi is a bite weak

Review 97:Everything!!! Very near to town, staff really friendly!! One of the best hotel breakfast I ever had. Will definitely recommend to anybody

Review 98:The outside of the building is rundown and seedy. Our suite smelled disgusting. The bathroom was dirty. Also, the employee who showed us to our room was wearing a t-shirt that expressed a very inappropriate and rude sentiment.

Review 99:Just a little bit distance from where travelers usually get off bus

Review 100:New hotel, very modern decoration; nice staffs & host, very helpful; free shuttle to Pamukkale; Comfy room, very clean, shower's the best!

Review 101:Very nice hotel. In itself, Pamukkale is a very small place, but the garden and facilities of this hotel were so nice that we would have stayed longer than our one-night booking. They organize shuttles to the Pamukkale attractions so everything was smooth and easy. We got there by bus to Deinizli and then local dolmus, so access is very easy anyways. Good breakfast as well.

Review 102:Nothing, everything was great.

Review 103:When you are driving to it, you do not expect to see such gem at the center of the village. But it was superb for its price. We stayed for just one night to visit Pamukkale, but I wished we could have stayed longer.

Review 104:Breakfast is okay if a bit average. Unfortunately the wifi seemed to have a virus on it called TradeAdExchange which caused lots of pop-ups but happily this didn't attach to our devices.

Review 105:Fantastic modern room with lovely en-suite. Great pool and areas to relax in. Staff were great and hotel restaurant is good.

Review 106:None.

Review 107:Fairly new and very nice building and pool/garden area. Breakfast was excellent and their restaurant served amazing claypot. Away from the busy main tourist area, but a reasonable walk from the terraces. They offer free shuttle to the main gate for the terraces and ruins.

Review 108:The smell of hotel was not verry refreshing,it is located near a little cows farm.At the breakfast time nobody clean your table.

Review 109:It is a new hotel,we had family room that we loved. It has all the confort that you need after a long trip.

Review 110:The girl in the reception very helpful, she helped us when our flight is cancelled. They arrange for airport shuttle and one of way drive to pammukale site.

Review 111:A bit expensive and the breakfast could be better.

Review 112:Great location. We had dinner at the hotel, turkish meal, which was very good. The staff was friendly. The room was big and clean. Great bed.

Review 113:Our bathroom got terrible and lasting smell, so it was uncomfortable when showering or toileting.

Review 114:Thanks for the stuff for waiting us to check in in the midnight. Their lunch is really nice.

Review 115:Our fridge in the room was warm and not cold enough to put anything in. But this was the only thing.

Review 116:We had an excellent stay at the Venus Suite hotel. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast every morning. Hotel was spotless and very modern and finished to an excellent standard ! Bath robes and slippers were a nice touch. Shower was also lovely!

Review 117:The in-room coffee making sachets all included milk - not good for a black coffee drinker! Staff couldn't find any others. And the front entrance is on rather a scruffy road. (Minor points really!)

Review 118:Excellent family suite (301) - lived up to the photos with 2 bedrooms, comfortable sitting area, views in all directions, and a fantastic shower. Good swimming pool for the size of hotel and not crowded. Lovely restaurant with very good food and excellent local wines. Helpful staff especially for my wife who is disabled.

Review 119:Only two things were regular, the room was not ready until 14:00 and there was too much noise in the room from outside.

Review 120:Everything was good. the food, the swimming pool, the room was clean and very comfortable.........everything good.

Review 121:We have to walk a long way to get back from the pamukkale tourism spot. It stinks outside.

Review 122:helpful and nice staff! facilities are great. There is a swimming pool.

Review 123:It was a pretty bad smell, but it came from the neighbours, nothing to do with the hotel.

Review 124:Great hotel, modern (maybe new), it has a pretty garden with a pool where you can stay for breakfast, the restaurant serves very good food at a decent price. Location 5-10 minutes walk to the travertines.

Review 125:15min walking to south gate (down part) of pamukkale, but hotel staff can drive you to the north gate (high part), so you can choose walk or not.

Review 126:Extremely helpful and friendly staff, good swimming pool, big room, all covered by marble, quiet environment, good restaurant. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Review 127:Air conditioning really loud and there is a dog near the hotel which bargs whole night long. You can smell all odors from the farms close to the hotel when you at the swimming pool, but well they cannot change it:)

Review 128:Really close to the all attractions to visit. Nice personnel, really helpful. Nice swimming pool, you can use it even after your check out. There equipped bathroom when you can take a shower before leaving the hotel. Laundry really cheap and fast!!! Nice breakfast.

Review 129:very bad experience during our breakfast. Bad quality of products and a lot of confusion trough the waiters.

Review 130:Good room and bathroom. Cleaning and with good taste furniture.

Review 131:Food at the Restaurant was not delicious as expected. Price was a bit higher in comparing with the restaurant in same class. There was a problem at the speed of Wi-fi, it was because of the location of the room at the corner. There was no plug in common area in suites.
