Reviews for The Four Seasons
Review 1:These cabins need serious updating! The heaters are old and don't work very well. The kitchen, although cute, doesn't meet modern comfort standards. Some lights didn't work. Handrail on front steps was kind of loose and useless. Finally, the queen bed was a total nightmare (no pun intended). Way too soft and we kept rolling to the middle. Please, add a wall unit AC too!
Review 2:We loved the location and the view! The big windows and sliding doors can be a blessing and a curse depending on the time of year. It worked for us. The tub was surprisingly roomy and the rear deck was nice for breakfast or coffee in the morning. Day trips are easily made. When you're lucky you can see deer in the morning and there's a billion stars out at night!
Review 3:The management was not helpful at all. Never received notification how to check in or out of the property. Called with a safety issue regarding the lights received a voice message they can be tricky no one came out.
Review 4:The location of the property.
Review 5:It wasn´t prepared for 6 guests.: not enough bed linen. The kitchen facilities were old fashioned and some didnt work. The kitchenware was just for 6. There was only one bathroom while in the description it said: shower, toilet, bathroom, which is confusing. The glass doors that led to the balcony couldn´t be locked, we were lucky the bears didn´t come !!
Review 6:The location
Review 7:The facility was in a very poor location with amenities that were uncomfortable and in very poor condition. The bed was really uncomfortable and the couch wasn't comfortable to site or lie on.
Review 8:The roof over our heads away from the storms.
Review 9:kitchenette area was rather old and a little shabby, no oven - but we were warned about that so cant complain on that one.
Review 10:location was great, accommodation was good and comfortable
Review 11:The owner gave lectures about saving electricity, cleaning up after ourselves and checking out on time. There were written messages left throughout the cabin, e.g. "Don't sleep on the sofa." and "Don't sit on the deck railing". The owner seems to forget that guests are ADULTS and PAYING for the cabin service. Just as well we had not planned to cook as the stove was out of order and the electric plates replacing it were not easy to use. The furnishings are old and "dingey" and the whole cabin in need of upgrade, painting, new upholstery for the couch, bedding, etc.
Review 12:The big window with view of mountain. June Lake is a lovely area.
Review 13:Far from Yosemite, very dated furnishings, poor climate control in cabins- hot at night, freezing in the mornings.
Review 14:Beautiful surroundings, homey accommodations, friendly owner.
Review 15:We were warned from reading other reviews about the stove not working. The kitchen was very small and they only had a mini refrigerator as well. The present owner is on her way out and says that the new owners will renovate and put in new appliances, etc (and the price will likely go up as well)
Review 16:Nice size cabin for the price. The view was magnificent! The beds were comfortable. Nice hiking trails close by
Review 17:too many fake flowers, showerhead felt like needles,no screen on doors to get cool air,old fridge not quite cold enough, cabin needs restoration
Review 18:pretty location, nice deck with view, clean,
Review 19:Accommodations are very dated and bordering on uncomfortable. Beds and "futon" need to be replaced.
Review 20:Beautiful location-very peaceful and serene.
Review 21:I can't think of anything.
Review 22:great back deck view. Los of sleeping space clean.
Review 23:Setting in June Lake and proximity to eastern end of Yosemite (long drive to Yosemite Valley, though)
Review 24:Nothing bad to say
Review 25:Everyone couldn't do enough to help us. The cabin stayed warm while we had 5 inches of snow outside. We really enjoyed our stay
Review 26:View was amazing, space was good and the host was very friendly.
Review 27:Needs a little update. A bit too rustic.
Review 28:the balcony on the back
Review 29:The views from the cabin decking were beautiful and the site was lovely and peaceful. We were delighted with the local birds, chipmunks and raccoons. We used it as our base to visit Mono Lake and Yosemite which are not far and the drive easy and scenic drive. It was a pity we did not allow more time in our trip to explore the June Lake area.
Review 30:The inside was rather dated, and a few little things such as sink plugs, some heaters didn't work. Cleaning could have been better, with numerous cobwebs. We found a half cup of coffee in the microwave left over from previous guests.
Review 31:The cabins are large and have a wonderful backdrop. There was a brand new deck at the back which overlooked the mountains.
Review 32:Gorgeous location, saw raccoons walking under our deck in the evening under blankets of stars, very well-maintained retro style, useful BBQ, a proper holiday!
Review 33:They do not clean and change bed-sheets throughout the tour
Review 34:The Good location, good facilities, good staff
