Review 1：A little mustiness upon entering the room but not enough to deter our stay.
Review 2：What a bargain find! Last-minute NYE plans and we were pleasantly surprised with this beach-front motel. Not for those looking for a ritzy hotel stay, but, the room was clean and cozy, the beds were comfy, amenities were as expected, but what stood out the most was the personality and the value. Will definitely revisit this pearl by the bay!

Review 4：The friendliness of staff, the roominess in the 1 bdrm apartment, the privacy of being unattached to motel, and the quietness of being over the garage and set-back with a grassy courtyard from Beach Ave. Also, having a driveway to park instead of locating parking spots on the main road was an advantage.
Review 5：The only thing I didn't like was there was a bowl of cigarette butts & ashes left on a table on our balcony.
Review 6：We were upgraded because our room was being renovated and we got the best possible room for very cheap (it was also the off season). Also the staff was very great, happy, welcoming & helpful. Also very clean.

Review 14：The location was an 11 on a scale of 1-10. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. There was a full size fridge in the kitchen which is rare . Everything about this Cape May gem was terrific. My go-to place from now on when I'm in Cape May!

Review 30：Upon arrival we tried to see if we could check in early. Woman at the front desk yelled at myself and all the others who were trying to check in early and said "absolutely no early check ins! End of story!" We have vacationed in Cape May for the past ten years and stayed at over 10 different locations. This was by far the rudest greeting I have ever had. It totally caught me off guard!

Review 32：Room is quite small. There is room for only one night table. There are only two dresser drawers and only one table. We were able to work around this but for $225 a night I would expect more space.

Review 34：I loved the outdoor grass space outside the rooms. Perfect for kids to play while parents get ready, and perfect for parents to enjoy while kids nap in the room. I also thought it was quiet and quaint- a 10 min walk to where the nighttime action is, so you can enjoy it and then go back to peace and quiet.

Ick. After that I was not inclined to walk barefoot on the surfaces since clearly, only limited cleaning up had been done after the last guests.

The room was cold but if the unit was turned up the heat blew right at the head of the bed and was way too hot to sleep. The 2 chairs in the room were not comfortable at all so there was no place in the room to sit and read or relax. Not as close as I had expected to the Washington Mall area as stated in the ad

Review 58：We enjoy staying in Cape May and we always find our best deal here. The Buckingham is very clean and the staff is great and always helpful. For the last two years, this is the only hotel we have stayed in when we come to Cape May. You can't beat the value.
Review 59：The bed had those plastic mattress protectors that get bunched up and are very uncomfortable. The kitchen had one of those little motel coffee makers with motel coffee and not a full size coffee maker, although there were filters for one. So I was unable to use the better coffee that I had brought with me.
Review 60：My wife and I stayed in the three room apartment over the garage. The layout was fine. We made breakfast every morning and prepared a small lunch to take with us. The combined dining and living room was nicely furnished and comfortable. The location directly opposite the beach can't be beat.
