Review 1：TV reception poor / wi-fi reception poor / staff not especially warm & welcoming / three times that I approached the reception area: either nobody present for several minutes or people so engaged with computer or phone that guests went unnoticed / room not ready on time / room given inconsistent with reservation, fingerpointing @ third party entity

Review 5：Every detail was thoughtful and personalized. A beautiful setting with exceptional service and food. One of the most comfortable, welcoming luxury hospitality venues I have experienced.

Review 6：I found two dead stink bugs in the room. They were in places I felt they should have been seen and cleaned prior to my arrival.

Review 7：I thought the property was well kept. The staff was very warm, welcoming, accommodating, and helpful. The room (the Rivanna Suite) was spacious and nicely decorated.

Review 9：We loved the Clifton and the grounds. The pool was beautiful and our long walk in the woods before breakfast was perfect. The bed was super comfortable and the room well appointed.

Review 10：What a beautiful Historic place to stay. We loved our room and everyone was so nice. the only complaint we had was pool is open 24 hr's but their are no lights inside the pool and their is a hot tub but no jets apparently. We ask staff to turn on the Jacuzzi but no one seemed to know how. We were told they would be back once they found something out but no one ever came back out. But regardless of this it is a beautiful place and a wonderful place to stay.

Review 11：Breakfast was described as "continental" (yogurt parfait, coffee, juice and a basket of breads) but we were also handed a pricey a la carte menu with more substantial offerings. That surprised us. Otherwise, everythig was perfect!

Review 12：EVERYTHING! All the details were wonderful: our room, the grounds, the Madera waiting for us in the room, tea service pool-side, we couldn't have enjoyed our stay more.
