Reviews for Indio Holiday Motel

Review 1:I booked online, he overcharged us by $30. Also, there were no blankets on the bed. When we called & asked for two blankets, he only brought us one stingy blanket.

Review 2:Nothing

Review 3:The ac unit in the wall is very noisy.

Review 4:It was quiet, good location for MY needs this trip. i would have liked a tv channel guide & Extra Pillows but i never asked. The parking lot is very well lit.

Review 5:There was no free wifi...I tried signing in so many times and it wouldn't work. Then the toilet didn't flush very well, there was an accident TV that the remote didn't work with. The lamp didn't work either so when we called they said to just unplug it from wall to turn off. No free breakfast..the door was hard to lock and it was just a bad experience. Wouldn't stay there again...only reason was because it was the cheapest I could find for Stagecoach..and that was $500 for a motel with those types of amenities.

Review 6:I liked that it was close to the venue for stagecoach, only about 3 miles away. The bathroom was a decent size and that's about it.

Review 7:It was really expensive overall. It's like staying at your great aunt's house, comfortable enough but mostly paying for location.

Review 8:The location for the venue was great

Review 9:The staff was extremely helpful and friendly! The location is great - quiet neighborhood but close to shopping centers. We were about 10 minutes away from the Coachella grounds which was AWESOME!

Review 10:Horrible smell in the room, very old furniture, bed is not a queen-size, it's twin! If we had no dog I'd prefer to stay at any other place.

Review 11:Pet friendly (additional fee)

Review 12:Smoking room had no ashtrays, no drinking glasses or cups, no kleenex & only a half roll of toilet paper, no rubber mat for the shower. The bathroom & shower floor were filthy, wireless system couldn't be used because it was infected with a virus and the ice machine outside was broken. The refrigerator did not cool anything. Do not stay here - it was awful & I checked out as soon as I could!!

Review 13:Nobody was on site when I was there to check in and so I looked around the complex and after a 5-10 minutes I found an employee who was able to check me in. Also didn't give me more shampoo when I needed it.

Review 14:The bed was comfortable, shower worked.

Review 15:Door didn't close well. Only the dead bolt held it shut, cigarette burns on sink, LOUD air conditioning

Review 16:Good shower water pressure and newer carpet

Review 17:Black Dirty bathroom floor & shower wore rubber shoes to shower paper thin stained towels stains on pillow cases & bedsheets no blanket - bedspread was blanket? torn carpet no klennex horrible worse room I have EVER stayed in!

Review 18:Nothing!

Review 19:Toilet was not secured to the floor and had some issues with plumbing.

Review 20:Comfortable place and quiet. Not a cookie-cutter property like the Motel 6 next door.

Review 21:The clean and well preped rooms

Review 22:To small. No heat not worth the money

Review 23:Plans weren't clear and facilities not flexible.

Review 24:Nice neighborhood.

Review 25:Not a bad experience it's just the room was a ripoff.

Review 26:I liked that it was close to the venue for Stagecoach.

Review 27:Filthy !

Review 28:Absouloutly nothing

Review 29:Cannot understand the poor reviews below. I guess the vast majority of satisfied guests can't be bothered to review the motel.

Review 30:Pillows were nothing to write home about.

Review 31:Extremely clean and wonderful staff.

Review 32:Good suggestion for a nearby place to eat. We had no problems.

Review 33:nothing

Review 34:Ice not always available, one night the tv was blacked out and had to be re-set and volume is limited, lighting is limited, wi fi was limited

Review 35:Gross toliet, unclean vents, disgusting shower floor stained black, no mini fridge.

Review 36:It had AC. That's only redeeming factor

Review 37:I didn't care for paying for ice.

Review 38:Location was good, easy to get where I needed to go. AC worked well. Shower had good hot water.

Review 39:Everything. Room was way too small (barely fit the queen bed) and dirty. Highly overpriced. Location was near prostitutes/drug dealers. It was unsafe to go out at night. I won't ever stay here again

Review 40:I don't know why the previous reviews on this place were so bad. It was not bad by any means. Obviously it's not luxurious, but it is definitely worth the bang for your buck. Manny was the front house manager, super welcoming and very attentive. Dennis was the maintenance man, he immediately greeted us and quickly fixed the lighting in the bathroom once we told him it was a little dim. The room was clean, unlike other reviews say.

Review 41:Stayed there while attending stagecoach great location....manuel is the guy who helped us when we got there he was awesome....will be staying there again next year for stagecoach 2015

Review 42:Needs to be updated to more modern times. Also, room keys might be better than an actual metal. My door was difficult to lock and open.

Review 43:Great location close to Coachella music festival.

Review 44:The rooms smell a lot of cigar, I dont mind but I think a lot of people wouldnt like it

Review 45:The location is perfect, pretty comfortable and is a good value for your money

Review 46:They wouldn't clean the room unless we were checking out. They gave us a hard time when we asked for clean towels. The manager was very rude to us from the beginning of our stay until we left. Not worth $900.

Review 47:We came for Coachella and it was close to the polo fields. They also provide a car shuttle to and from which was nice.

Review 48:Everything. The owner was the biggest jerk. Room was super gross. Wifi connection was so bad, almost unusable. Owner made me feel like I was a prisoner.

Review 49:Nastiest hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. Stains on the bed sheets - my boyfriend even got hives from it. Black dusty marks all over the floors. Stains on the chair.

Review 50:Close to coachella

Review 51:It was run down. The manager hid behind glass. The location was not good. It had no amenities. The towels were rough. It was the worst hotel lodging I have stayed in recent memory.

Review 52:I liked how close it was to the Indian Wells Tennis Center

Review 53:All night we heard trains heavily going by. I had a headache all day after. There is no blow-dryer and the towels were supper old, small and felt like sandpaper. AC and the fan in the bathroom are extremely LOUD.

Review 54:The bathroom size and the shower.

Review 55:I found the toilet seat to be dirty and appeared not to have been cleaned. Splattered brown stains on the seat were not appreciated. I was easily able to wipe these areas clean so I would assume housekeeping could have done the same. Amenities are lacking. No shampoo, etc. Two of the smallest bars of soap I have ever seen (1 x 1 1/2 inches and very thin). No hair dryer. The room was otherwise clean with modest furnishings. I checked the sheets and they were clean so I was fine with that. There was a bar sized refrigerator and a small microwave. I didn't use either, they were unplugged, so I can't speak to their functionality. Ice was available near the office, for a fee. The machine required $0.25 for about 2/3 of a bucket. I was traveling through the area so this was tolerable but would opt for other options in the future.

Review 56:I know it is old, but how much does it cost to replace the old, worn down toilet seat, maybe $12.00 at Home Depot.

Review 57:It is an old facility; so you can't expect much.

Review 58:Maybe some coffee would be nice in morning before leaving but for price u wouldn't expect to much but for one it was good

Review 59:It did its purpose just needed to sleep overnight it was close to date festival so it worked for one

Review 60:No room service, ran out of toilet paper, asked for paper, none bought, ran down guy outside, went into another room and gave me a partially used roll of toilet paper. Stayed two nights, never cleaned room or emptied waste baskets.

Review 61:Bed was ok, had refr and microwave

Review 62:Can't think of anything I didn't like.

Review 63:Mr. Patel was a very good host. He was very gracious and understanding about some weird black goo I accidentally tracked on his carpet and foot stool. Room was very clean. Beds very comfortable. We requested a room with a fridge, got that and a microwave too. Location is a bit off the beaten path so it was very quiet even with the railroad tracks a stones throw away. But then we both love trains.

Review 64:Front door had a big space at bottom of door. Toilet wasn't working properly at first. Everything else was great

Review 65:The location was great! It is within the Polo Fairgrounds, where I was going.

Review 66:They got a sign in front ... advertising rooms at $43 ... I paid 55 online ... I stayed in quiality inn for $44 a night with 2 beds ...

Review 67:The staff. .. very friendly people

Review 68:Was clean ansd close to event location

Review 69:Not allowed to have visitors

Review 70:Dennis was very helpful.

Review 71:Terrible service. Dirty room. Value.

Review 72:There was a bed and warm shower.

Review 73:Air conditioner very loud but working so OK.

Review 74:Clean, very basic, very old (very worn out sheets),but comfortable.
