Review 1：not sure what to tell you. We had a mostly positive experience.
Review 2：The breakfast that was nice! Your location was very good too. The staff was helpful when necessary
Review 3：It was a little noisy being next to the highway. The toilet was clogged when we arrived so we called the front desk and the maintenance guy was prompt but it clogged the next day and he came again and problem was resolved for the remainder of our stay.
Review 4：Location. We were visiting our daughter who lives in Charlottesville and the hotel was very convenient to everything we needed.
Review 5：The air didn't work when we first arrived at the room so they had to come work on it. The comforter had several small holes and there were stains on the ceiling. There was also construction going on outside of the hotel so there was noise at night and a very small parking lot made it hard to fit all of the vehicles.
Review 6：I was placed in a smoking room with my kids and i'm a non smoker, dirty carpet, horrible breakfast the list goes on. It should be called dirty roof instead of red roof.

Review 8：Excellent locatio. Easy find. Lots of restaurants. Hotel did not tell us about a superb buffet at second light.
Review 9：The mattress felt old and worn out. It was uncomfortable. Also, there was a raucous party going on until about 2am, and the staff must have known about it. People were out in the walkways and parking lot making noise. I go to sleep late so it didn't bother me, but I saw several older couples and families that it likely bothered.

Review 11：The parking was very limited and hard to manuver in the small parking lot. Staff were ok, not that friendly. And there was exposed wireing in the room which didn't seem safe.

Review 13：From the outside the motel didn't look very inspiring, however we were pleasantly surprised. It turned out to be very good value for money and more than suited our needs. We had a double room which was a good size and very clean. The location was on the outskirts of town but wasn't a problem for us as we were only there for one night, primarily to visit Monticello. The breakfast included in the rate provided a good selection of things.

Review 16：There we lots of construction worker in the area and they were extremely out of line. They made my wife feel so very uncomfortable. They were yelling and hooting at her. They seemed to be only on one side of the building but in the last week of our stay. They were on the office side and they just made the stay extremely uncomfortable. The attendant changed U.S. side when we got there because of the workers living there. Great effort on the staffs behalf, but if they could have done something to stop them from making it uncomfortable then it would have been perfect

Review 21：Back door of room needed to be cleaned/painted. While taking shower the water continued to flow from tub and shower head making the water pressure slower. Breakfast could be improved. Not enough selections or space to eat. I only saw 2 tables.

Review 27：Weak, intermittent wi-fi, floor lamp bulb hanging by wire, one of two bedside outlets stopped working after first night, parking lot too narrow to easily get into spots, locked out one night into 3-night pre-paid stay (had to get key card reset), and the topper: I was woken before 8am on my 2nd morning by an employee tapping on my door and yelling something about checking out (this was not a requested wake-up).

Review 32：I booked as Comfort Inn, and it had been bought recently by Red Roof. Iwas not informed and spent 30 minutes driving around very busyCharlottesville looking for them. I called once, no answer. I called asecond time and was directed right in. The odor in our room was foul...The plugs were hanging out of the wall... Very tight parking space.

Review 35：The shower/tub was appalling. Shower curtain rod poorly secured. The fiberglass tub was uneven and the finish was peeling inside the tub. The furniture was very dirty.

Review 37：the carpet was soaked from the heating unit. This was on the left side of the bed. The next morning the toilet overestimate flowed it was stopped up I guess. The only thing I put in it was a tiny piece of toilet paper. So now the other side of the bed was soaked. We could not use the bathroom. We could not shower. It was miserable. There was toilet water all around the sink we couldn't even brush our teeth. The tank would not stop filling up the back of the toilet I don't know what happened but it was an awful stay.

Review 39：Room was clean as were the linens. Bathroom clean and all supplies were present. WE ONLY HAD ONE minor problem that they fixed. The breakfast was very generous and good.
Review 40：Free Breakfast was really yucky though the coffee was terrific. The facilities are clustered near a red roof and days inn on a sketchy run down street. I rented for VERY little off a promo, but had I paid, say 75 or more, I would have been better off at several university area or interstate 64 hotels that are newer and maintained. This place had all I needed for a one night stay in the snow at a very low price, since I really was only sleeping, but it was sketchy and, in general, there are other hotels in better parts of town for nearly the same money if you are paying anything like full price for the room

Review 44：The bathroom ceiling was peeling and the shower had a little mold. There were several open bottles of vodka in various spots around the room when we checked in telling us that the room hadn't been throughly cleaned.

Review 53：I was given a key to a room that was already occupied, and then when I returned that key, they just said, "That's odd." After we finally got in our room, we locked the deadbolt. However, someone was trying to get in our room several times during the night. No way could we get any rest.
