Review 1：I didn't like the curtains on the window because they were not long enough and had holes . Which gives you no privacy . I did let the front desk know .

Review 3：Continuous water leak from bottom of toilet that was never fixed, entire room could use a deep cleaning, no daily room service, had to request additional towels .... All this during a 12 day stay

Review 5：First off, the "lobby" was so small you couldn't fit more than 1 person unless you wanted to be squished in, the pool was green, the jacuzzi was full of leafs, the room we stayed in was cramped, smelled of bleach (not like a good comforting clean smell, it was like there was too much used). The bed was rock hard, there were bare plumbing pipes running through our room, our dead bolt didn't lock, there was a patch on the wall that lead into our closet that someone could push in, the supports holding up the shade/walk way cover were rotten and loose, and I found someone else's underwear on our floor. Unsatisfied and will never stay there again, not even for the cheap price of $65 a night.

Large double room - enough for a young family of 5(inlc. rollaway). Great water pressure in shower & plenty hot water. Ten minute drive to Empire Polo fields. Starbucks 5 minute(or less) drive. Easy parking. Quiet. Small family owned and operated motel. Nice landscaping. Pool looked nice, but didn't use. Three mirrors. Large desk, large fridge(very cold!)
Review 11：Shower valve was very difficult to use as it needed some adjustment. Bathroom was fairly large but felt cramped due to layout.
Review 12：Firm bed, somewhat larger refrig, convenient ice maker and parking right in front. Limited number of rooms made parking lot even closer but room was quiet. Staff was friendly. Location very close to Indio Fair Grounds was perfect for going to Shalimar to watch Ca Chrome run at off-track wagering.
Review 13：The owners were absolutely rude to my friends that came over to comfort me. The owners stood outside my room until they left. The owners said that no visitors were allowed at their hotel even though it was originally under their name.

Review 15：kitchen had absolutely no crockery or cutlery - not even a cup to make coffee. Kitchen stove was broken and in bad condition. fridge was working. Bathroom was very basic. Shower head was scary as sometimes the hot water came too fast.

Review 33：The real negative I have with the motel would be that the beds were pretty hard and that the motel is doing away with the kitchenettes. Which was one main reason of staying at the motel. I was a bit disappointed, however they did provide a little refrigerator and microwave.
Review 34：The staff was very friendly. The owners let us check in early. For the age of the Motel the cleanliness was above average. They had Wi-Fi; which was a big plus. It was family friendly and I would recommend Mauna Loa Motel to travelers with family who are looking for affordable rates.
Review 35：I only saw one staff member but we were only there for one night. She was friendly and professional and helped us with everything we needed. The place was a tiny, old, run down motel, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Not very pretty, but I liked it!
Review 36：The water from the sink and shower was nearly cold. I did not complain as I was too tired and did not want to have to move rooms or have someone in my room. I presume it would have been fixed but would have preferred to not to have that problem at all.

Review 38：Has not been painted in 20 years, mold in bathtub, 20 year old t.v., rusty cabinets, no pots or pans or dishes (it was a kitchenet room) I would be afraid to get in hot tub or pool, i was afraid to sleep under covers.
