Review 1：Very dated fixtures and flooring in the room. The hot tub was broken during my stay.

Review 3：The room was very outdated. Most of the wooden furniture had gouges and scuffs. The bathroom had old pink tiles and pretty scuffed up flooring. The worst part was the first morning I couldn't get any hot water for my shower.

Review 5：Hotel needs a major upgrade there was scuffs all over the wall, extension cords running everywhere looked like a collage door room. .Carpet was all stained.The heater in the room was so loud we had to both sleep with earplugs and when It kicked on you had to put the TV way up in volume and back down when It kicked off so you didn't go deaf. The lady at the breakfast buffet was asking for our breakfast tickets before we even had a chance to sit down made us feel like we were thives and not going to pay. Not many restaurants I ever went to demand payment before your seated to your table. The pictures online were very deceiving.

Review 7：First room was dirty. Terrible dirty cob webs in corner by window and drapes. Webs hanging from ceiling. Bathroom floor dirty in corners and mouldy grout in tub area. Carpet had strings and crumbs and didn't looked vacciumed. Found a used tooth pick on window sill. Just over all cleanliness was poor. Don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining about old. The bathroom and general room features are very dated. I don't mind old but it has to be clean. It's the first time in five years I have asked to be move from a room because it was dirty.

Review 13：I was very disappointed to learn that my booking did not include the buffet breakfast!! I stayed at the Lethbridge Lodge at the end of May and the breakfast buffet was included in the price of the room. I was told that the new management has cut the breakfast from the price of the room. Very, Very disappointing!! I think that breakfast is a nice feature to have included in the room. I will be travelling to Lethbridge again on business, but I'll be checking out other motels that have the breakfast feature included in the price of the room.

Review 14：The rooms are dated but very clean and comfortable. My travel was for business and the room I was in was very quiet and it had a desk and desk lamp, so I could some work done on my laptop - Very nice feature.

No mirror in the room so if the bathroom was occupied I couldn't get ready because I couldn't fit it too. Mattress comfort was just average. Have stayed in hotels that are much more comfortable. Very noisy in the night from other hotel guests.

Review 24：The property is tired and could use a major reno to update the rooms. The sink in my bathroom had a few major chips that had been poorly repaired. TV's are ancient and the furniture is worn. The lounge has only one small tv and difficult to view.

We had to wait for the check in time of 4 p.m. with an 11 year old and after driving for 2 hours because the room was not "ready". The hotel is in a convenient location near downtown and restaurants, plus it has a good indoor swimming pool that was used by the grandkids and a Starbucks outlet in lobby. The rate was also very good value with a great restaurant breakfast buffet included. A couple of small electrical plug issues were dealt with immediately.

Review 46：The rooms are very unclean. The carpet was covered in stains and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The pool is OK but the water is freezing and the hot tub is way too hot.

Review 49：We had been here at Christmas time and had a bad experience with a large group that had been there. The hotel worked hard at making it right and offered to have us stay with them again next time when we were in town. When we arrived and saw there was not one but two large groups in we thought oh no not again but not this time. The staff were right on the ball, they had security walking patrols in the halls and in the pool/spa area they did an AMAZING job at keeping everyone happy. We would definitely come back again and again and would also recommend the hotel to others.

Review 50：The whirlpool was out of order in the morning and the elevator closest to our room was also out of order. Once we discovered a shortcut and a staircase (which we weren't told about), it was very easy to access our room.

Review 51：This facility is used by my employer to lodge people from our home office. The hotel is a bit dated on the outside and inside but it is very clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the beds were comfortable. It wasn't too hot or too cold and I enjoyed a quick swim in the pool in the morning. The included breakfast was FANTASTIC!

Review 52：We are not fans of rooms with windows facing an inner atrium but the air conditioning was adequate. We had two rooms, one next to each other and an door between them would have been nice.

Review 54：The facility is rotting away. Noisy guests yelling in the hallway and Atrium until 2:30 AM. Staff did nothing- we had to shut them up ourselves. The breakfast which used to be good is a thing of the past. Stale bread, the only meat choice was those small greasy sausages, one toaster that takes 5 minutes to brown the stale bread and funky tasting fruit.

Review 62：The atrium in the hotel was the most beautiful I've ever seen at a hotel. Our room was adjacent to the atrium, and although we liked looking out the window, we felt it was a little noisy. The staff immediately moved us to an outside room and it was quiet and beautiful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Review 67：One slight issue was the fridge, microwave and lights were on the same switch. So when you turned off the lights also the fridge and microwave. Had to remove bulb on wall light to keep fridge powered. Not a problem but not ideal.

Review 68：We had a courtyard view suite which had a lovely view of the city and of the tropical atrium in the center of the building. Beautiful and quiet! Our best stay for comfort and value on our long trip. The best free hot breakfast!

Review 69：We didn't like that they didn't give us new shampoo and soap when the cleaning lady came to our room. We had to call the front desk. We also had to switch rooms because our infant son couldn't sleep due to them putting us in a room right next to the bar.

Review 94：Both on a Room Service order and on an order in the restaurant in the evening, I wanted to take advantage of the "our kitchen is your kitchen" philosophy that was bragged about in the menu. Guess what!? There kitchen is my kitchen as long as I don't want anything that isn't on their menu or anything different. They need to change their menu to say "no substitutions" to avoid guest disappointment.

Review 101：The room smelled, was run down and there were no duvet covers for the comforters on the 2 queen beds which were just covered with a white sheet. We passed on having the room cleaned for our first day and asked for service the following day. The bed wasn't made properly (boxspring was exposed showing the wood base, bottom sheet was not fitted properly), bathroom wasn't cleaned, and towels were replenished for only 2 people not 4.

Review 115：Rugs are old and dated. Pool is situated for learing from the lounge. Elevators were a little shakey and the stairwells were smelly.

Review 117：There was a very large group booked a day after we got there and the children spent hours upon hours running up and down the hallways banging on the room doors. Because our room faced the courtyard we were able to see down to the pool area and these kids were throwing things in the pool, using the life rings as frisbees and the long safety hook pole to poke other people that were in the pool. The older children were jumping into the pool doing summersaults into it etc.. it made for a dangerous time for anyone there. For two days we were not able to use the area with our grandchildren. We complained many times to the staff and they would come out to investigate and things would quieten but would get bad again. When we went and checked out we complained once more. We were not charged for the three nights that the group was there. About 2 weeks after we got home we got a personal email from one of the managers apologizing once again for the behaviour of the group. They offered us a free nights stay to come back to the hotel again. Which we will use on our next trip. Because we have stayed there before without a single bit of problems we will go back. But had it been our first time there I would be leery of trying them again. The staff did do their best at keeping the other guests happy in the midst of the mayhem this group caused

Review 118：The breakfast buffet is HUGE. If you want just yogurt and fruit they have it, cereal and toast they have that, hot breakfast with homemade waffles, sausages and eggs etc they have that as well. We got one of the suites this stay as we had a couple of grandchildren with us. Housekeeping staff are very friendly always wishing us a good morning and smiling. Front desk staff were able to give us clear direct instructions when we asked directions to different places.

Review 121：I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. Besides myself, two other family members stayed with me and I was the one who booked the hotel. I was not told that a very large group of Lebanese had booked rooms at the hotel and basically they took over the entire hotel during our stay. We had courtyard rooms and the staff let the pool area stay open until 11:00 because the Lebanese group had it in their contract. This was just the tip of the iceberg, There were many children with no supervision and no hotel staff in sight. Luckily my siblings were able to change rooms but it was not an enjoyable stay. We will not be staying at the Lodge again.

I just wanted to check in to preserve the room, not go to the room, they would not until the room had been cleaned sometime after 4:00 pm.
