Reviews for Taos Country Inn

Review 1:no negatives.

Review 2:Just about everything. Our hostess, Yolanda was also an excellent concierge for local attractions and reservations. Great place for small family reunions

Review 3:Lack of WiFi in the rooms. A better TV would be nice as the they are not expensive any more

Review 4:Quite and comfortable. Every room is a suite. The owner is very welcoming and helpful

Review 5:Nothing

Review 6:Beautifully appointed Santa Fe ranch/adobe style. Great breakfasts each morning. Wonderful host, Yolanda! Location was peaceful respite but so close to everything in Taos.

Review 7:Disrepair of bath tiles etc, toilet was not level & it's seat was loose. Bed too firm for us, pillows flat & worn. Sofa was not easy to sit in or to get out of. The room was decorated in the 80's...needs update. Consider age of guests and choose furniture & fixtures that are easier to use when u do redo rooms.

Review 8:Hospitality, quiet and peaceful. The rooms are spacious with lovely views.

Review 9:The bed was rough to sleep on my body hurt .. But still would stay again I would bring a pad to sleep on ..

Review 10:The place was beautiful the room was hudge staff very friendly helpful.. And quiet!!!

Review 11:The location was spectacular. Only a mile from the plaza, you felt completely out in the country, with beautiful scenery. The house was lovely, and the suite was so large and luxurious. The breakfast was delicious! I could go on forever, but I will end with YOU MUST STAY HERE! Thanks to Yolanda!

Review 12:The owner, Yolanda, was so warm and helpful. The hacienda is in a quiet rural setting but only minutes to center of town. Will definitely return!

Review 13:Nada. I liked it all, especially the country which was still within walking distance of the plaza.

Review 14:The Inn is a historic building dating back many years. Yolande has lived there for 39 years and raised her children there. About 15 years ago, she was able to get a small business loan, and with the help of her family added rooms and made the house into 7000 square feet with 8 bedroom suites to rent to guests. She serves a wonderful breakfast. Yolande is very relational and loves to talk to guests and is knowledgeable (she's lived in the area all her life) for both directions and places of interest.

Review 15:A couple of minor maintenance items like a sticky door and hard to work faucet, but otherwise was a perfect place to stay.

Review 16:The location is off of the main roads and is perfect if you want a country experience, but close enough that it does not take long to get most anywhere in Taos. The host was very friendly and helpful with lots of ideas for sight seeing and dining. The breakfasts were great with lots of seasonal fruit along with a main course. The room was large and the artwork was wonderful.

Review 17:Personal attention given by owner and the feeling you were in a private estate.

Review 18:The location is fantastic surrounded by nature, very quiet and a beautiful building. Yolanda is a wonderful host.

Review 19:Yolanda is wonderful! She greeted us as old friends, and we felt very comfortable with all aspects of the facility. One of our nicer stays in Taos!

Review 22:Yolanda was the best host, and her breakfasts are to die for! We loved it.

Review 23:It's quiet and very private. Yolanda really treats you like you are a family.

Review 24:Quite with great location! Yolanda and Barb were great!

Review 25:We really enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and peaceful and just minutes from Taos restaurants and shops. Yolanda, the Inn Keeper, was very gracious.
