Reviews for Beyond Resort Krabi
Review 1:Arrived at 1, was told check in wasnt ready until 2 which we knew. But at 2 rooms still werent ready and no apology/explanation offered. Finally around 2.45 we were told we could go over to check in at the desk but the girls on desk are way too overworked and had to answer phone and do other things while trying to check us in, not very professional, especially considering the price paid.
Review 2:Very comfortable and clean. Lovely relaxing place for a week at xmas. All staff are very polite and helpful, couldnt fault them at all. So much choice at breakfast. Close to many bars/restaurants. Loads of 24/7's and shops nearby also . Had to keep signing in to wifi each time we returned to room which was a bit of a pain, but it was the most reliable WiFi of all the hotels we stayed in. It didnt keep dropping out like most others in the hotels. Other than the slow check in due to receptionists having to do too much (when there were plenty of other staff in the lobby standing around doing nothing) We would definitely return.
Review 3:Overall seems a bit overpriced in terms of service and facilities quality: e.g. our bathroom definitely required some renovation with some smell ocassionally coming out from drain pipes. Also service on the beach (e.g. drinks, snacks) could be improved.
Review 4:Stunning location and beach! Perfect retreat if you want to stay away from crowds, yet necessary facilities are within reach (shops, bars, restaurants, rentals). Breakfast choices are overwhelming:)
Review 5:Price of restaurant (beverages were expensive and the food came in small portions)
Review 6:Our room was a villa with an amazing sea view. Room was spacious and confortable. The beach in front is beautiful and empty. Despite more isolated from ao nang, it has tour agencies inside and around, scuba diving and few restaurants outside, so booking a tour is not an issue. However if you are looking for a nightlife this is not the best choice
Review 7:Rocky beach. Far away from islands and other attractions. Price per night is high. Felt like more things should be included with that price.
Review 8:Friendliest staff. Private beach. Great pool. Great free breakfast selection. Nice and clean facilities. Free wifi. Mostly quiet and peaceful. Beautiful views.
Review 9:Could not swimm in the sea due to the low/high tide but could jog on the beach. The staff too impersonal. Hotel location away from bigger village and taxi fees standardized and expensive to move around.
Review 10:Easy access to the beach. Nice breakfast buffet.
Review 11:The gypsum lorries passing on the main road every 2 minutes The hotel's rule that sun beds could not be reserved before 10am as many people ignored this rule and the hotel took no action so effectively the good guys lost out
Review 12:The pool Our room
Review 13:Loved the large and clean rooms - we had a garden villa. Our check in was sub par - the lady gave us no overview of activities taking place at the resort and I had to find out through the TV screens listed throughout the resort. Beach area was also extremely crowded and chairs were too close together and no one came up to ask us if we wanted to order anything from the bar. There were also a lot of people since it was between Christmas and New Years. They also charge you for local calls from the room! Given the amount of $ spent per night ($733 total for 3 nights) at a Thailand hotel, amenities and service were not up to par. Breakfast was also not included in our room rate.
Review 14:The Cottage is not that cosy and looks really different to the rooms in the hotel itself, would really go for a seaview room. Compared to other hotels we stayed during our Thailand trip, this one was a bit overpriced.
Review 15:Beautiful location, though far away from Ao Nang where things are happening at night. Outside the resort plenty of Restaurants. Beach is very nice.
Review 16:The service of the hotel was very poor. It takes 1/2 hour to get your drinks ordered. After 11PM the resort is dead, nothing to do and no rooms service available anymore
Review 17:Great location and nice resort to relax. Swimming pool with view at the beach Close to the resort are a few very nice restaurants
Review 18:Rooms renovated but starting to wear out already Smell of suwer in bathroom all the time.... But all to all value for money!
Review 19:Great pool direct on the beach Very good and tastefull breakfast Nearby eating facilities Washing facilities across the streat Massage across the street
Review 20:The workout room was pretty bad. Only 1 old elliptical, 1 treadmill, and 2 bikes. They were all in pretty bad shape and I had to make sure I woke up early to get on a piece of equipment when the facility opened at 7am. We ordered room service one night and were quite disappointed.
Review 21:Perfect location away from all the craziness of Au Nang but yet a short and cheap (500tbt) taxi ride away if you want to experience it. (we did once and that was more than enough, I couldn't get away fast enough) The pool was excellent and the hotel is located on the beach in a great location. You can walk about 600m on the beach from the hotel and eat at the best beach front restaurants for a much cheaper price. We had inter-connecting rooms which was perfect for our family of 5 and the balcony was so nice for watching the sunset or having your morning coffee. There are kayaks to rent right at the hotel and also longtail boats for hire. I did not use the travel agency at the hotel, I booked everything on my own. The hotel staff is very friendly but they need to work on their English a bit more as some of the workers were very difficult to understand. Make sure to book a ocean view room in the main building as you would be missing out on the beautiful sunsets if you don't. Breakfast was pretty good as well.
Review 22:Everything was lovely, just a taxi ride to the main strip in ao nang
Review 23:The location of the hotel is amazing! Cocktails round the pool watching the sun set. Recommend coconut cooler, alcoholic cocktail.. Also a bar nearby on the beach called sunset which is amazing for food and cocktails.. We stayed in a cottage which was very spacious and catered to all our needs
Review 24:Our only tiny gripe was that we had to reconnect to the WiFi everytime we returned to the hotel
Review 25:Fabulous pool, lovely temperature and always a sunbed free. Some great local restaurants in walking distance, could highly recommended Elephants End, Sunset Bar,Eats and Upstairs Bar.
Review 26:Not near a city or town do you must rent a taxi to go into town. Theplace is dated. Needs upgrading. When we first got there, we had a verynice room but it was on the second level up some very narrow steep stepsand my wife does not do steps well. The Academy was kinda old and hadano electronic hum which drove me crazy. We asked for a different roomon the ground floor and we got one but it was an older unit and the woodFloor had cracksome in it and uneveness. The bathroom smelled likesewage. But the air conditioner didn't hum so we decided to stay. Wegot some incense to burn in the bathroom, covered all the drain holesand lived with it. The day before we left a crew came around the hotelcomplex and cleaned the sewer system and that took care of the smell. The wi-fi is slow.
Review 27:Excellent location right on the beach. Quiet, not too many steps. Foodis good but a little spendy. Staff is EXCELLENT!They smiled all the timeand we're genuinely friendly. The whole property is clean and lush.Well landscaped.Excellent pool and beach area
Review 28:The room looked tired, poor quality fittings and was unclean in places like the shower. Too many rules: "only one bottle of water allowed free per day", "must bring pool towels back to the room or you will be charged....." could not pay for anything with cash so it would have been very easy to rack up extensive bills, especially when everything was so expensive compared to rest of area. Not really worth the money and service very generic and lacking in any personal touch.
Review 29:best thing was the location. Almost on the beach with great views.
Review 30:Just outside resort, the beach has got too many colroles. Just a few yards away, the beach is beautiful to swim.
Review 31:Very peaceful beach, not too many people on the beach. It's a shallow clean beach.
Review 32:Shower didnt drain initially but was fixed. AC thermostat not working properly; either too cold or to hot! Staff not overly helpful. Poor restaurant (in-room food). Cheap toiletries (i.e. shampoo / shower gel).
Review 33:Big room with a good view, big breakfast, nice quite beach, very good hotel design with a fantastic pool and great view from the reception.
Review 34:Nothing
Review 35:Room was clean and big. We got an upgrade to sea view room, that's fantastic! The pool is really big and clean. Beautiful private beach, nice food, clean air, superb location, and good facilities. Hotel staff is really nice and helpful. It was perfect trip for us.
Review 36:-Far from the main area of krabi -Dark walkway at night -It is quite a distance from the room to the main lobby of the resort
Review 37:-Friendly staffs -Clean resort -Private beach -Quiet & spacious sea view villa
Review 38:not a large variety of food available in this area
Review 39:absolutely amazing, staff were so friendly, lovely views from our room, very comforatble, very peacefull and quiet,
Review 40:The rooms are little too dark in our opinion. The hotel doesn't have a shuttle service to the close village (which means about a 10 minute walk on a car road with no pavement, or getting a taxi everytime).
Review 41:The staff was nice. The breakfast was very good and had a lot of variety. The pool was big and beautiful and the beach was great- pretty, long and had an easy access.
Review 42:Too much to say! 1, The location, really really far away fromeverything, no shopping place around, no good food around, it'sseriously not a place for young people 2, Still the location, it is toofar and too expensive to go anywhere, even the closest island, name's Hong, take 1800 thb to go by boat! (You imagine how far it is!)There is some tour offered by hotel, but if you are alone, a lot ofitem can not be book unless you have another companion.Still you go forvocation, for fun! It is not only me but lots of others bring foodoutside to the room 3, The beach, I read about the comments from otherson this hotel before, especially how beautiful the sea view is, and tobe honest, the sea view is just soso! Compares to Long beach and otherislands in Phi Phi Island, it is literally nothing! Besides, the beachis dirty as well, even compares to Railey beach, it's not that clean, considering so many ppl visited Railey and so less ppl stayed inKueanmong! 3, The booking! I booked 6 nights online, and went therechecked in, was not feeling good, trying to check out earlier, and wastold to be charge for 6 nights anyway, doesnt matter if I actuallyconsumed how many nights!!!!!!!! My suggestion, only book 1 or 2 nightsif you really want to try this hotel, cuz finally you will waste yourmoney 4, The staff, I was arguing about the earlier checking out, and Idouble confirmed with the staff that if I got fully charged after myearlier check out, does that mean I will have the reservation of theroom No. 2022 which I booked, nobody can live in that room except forme, and I got the confirmation of a yes, however when I come back in28th night, I was told that the room was already taken! What I heard themost, is "sorry madam, this is the hotel policy", with a fakelook. 5, The hotel policy, everything is charged and super expensive!
Review 43:What I like is the breakfast, with Thai style, and western style, havechoices Secondly, the pool, it is a nice one That's it
Review 44:Having to leave!
Review 45:We absolutely loved this hotel and wish we could have stayed longer! We were blown away by the view from the lobby when checking in which was a good sign! We loved our cottage room which was very spacious and felt nice and secluded. The bathroom and walk in shower was lovely. Pool area and restaurant was great too. Would definitely return.
Review 46:The room smelt pretty dank, but was clean. It was the wet season when we were there (August) and it rained a lot. It's a little isolated, there are a few restaurants right out the front, or else a 10-15 minute walk to another strip. Ao Nang's a taxi ride away though and is much more 'happening'.
Review 47:The pool is magnificent. Decent beach right out the front, nice waves, water a bit murky though (it was raining a lot when we were there)
Review 48:The hotel taxi charges are too high. As we missed our pick up taxi for Phi Phi tour, we had to engage the hotel taxi who charged us 650 THB for taking us to the jetty which is less than 10km. And it's not private taxi even - some other guests were already seated & sharing.
Review 49:Location, Swimming Pool,
Review 50:I had only cold water in the shower, informed the reception but no warm water in the shower during my stay
Review 51:Staff is nice and friendly but could speak a bit better English! Bar and restaurant staff speaks better English as Reception staff
Review 52:The location is a bit far from Ao Nang and Krabi, recommending rent a car or motorcycle. The Wifi is not unlimited.
Review 53:The sea-view room is fabulous. Good natural environment. Hotel service and staffs are very good.
Review 54:The wifi is a little weak, at times. Sometimes have to sign back in again after getting kicked off.
Review 55:The breakfast offered is amazing and so is the rest of the food... Lunch and dinner prices can be a little pricey and some portions a little small, but great overall. Although, it's about 15 minutes away from Ao nang, the resort has a beautiful beach before it with crystal clear waters and clean sand. Very polite and helpful staff. I will absolutely return to this resort Very comfortable rooms and uniquely inspired layout to the hotel, overall.
Review 56:Some mold in the bathroom/shower corners (unfortunately basically standard in every hotel in Thailand) Beach is very nice looking but once a few steps in the water (especially low tide) there is no sand anymore and you will only walk on gravel and little rocks (watch your step). What disturbed me the most was there are a few rather large rocks in the water just slightly underneath the surface. This can be very dangerous particularly between low and high tide. I decided to not swin the in the ocean because of that and rather stick to the very nice pool. Be warned though: There were very many and very loud Chinese guests there when we stayed at the hotel.
Review 57:Awesome view (we had beach+pool view. Large rooms with nice bathrooms. Check out the lobby/hang out area on the top floor: Amazing views. Comfortable and very large beds! Breakfast buffet was very large and there is something for every taste. If you want to be secluded and just relax then this hotel is a good option for you. There is not much to do in that town/village.
Review 58:The cleaning needs to be improved, bathroom was not well cleaned... Toilet still dirty... Unacceptable for a room over 100 euros in thailand... Same thing for the cleaning of the room, can see it was done "quickly"... Bedroom floor still dusty. The wifi too is annoying, have to reconnect all the time and every day new codes. So management has to improve the cleaning for this range of price. And in the bathroom, no thooth brush in case you need it when arriving. Even cheap hotels offer this now...
Review 59:I liked the view from the deluxe sea view. Staff if nice and friendly, they helped me to move room to have a better view. Good breakfast, private beach, nice swimming pool.
Review 60:The distance from the town The wifi not available in the villas always requiring the login Opening hours of the swimming pool too short Hotel facilities and transportation services doubled compared to the external ones
Review 61:The privacy although the big dimension of a resort The good position on the beach Amazing swimming pool
Review 62:The attention to detail, like providing mosquito repellent, a beach bag, flipflops, swimming towels, umbrellas. Staff found out it was our anniversary and they baked a cake for us.
Review 63:Hotel in need of repair. Staff does not smile. Cleaning is not very.
Review 64:Very Big Room, King size Double Beds. Pools was great. Nice jacuzzi in the pool. Breakfast had a large choice of foods. Fast Wi fi. Great serene beach. Very big parking.
Review 65:The room is old especially the toilet/bathroom, canot see brown stains & cracks on wall. Needs a makeover! Foul smell from sewage piped, have to on ventilation throughout. Only give 2 packs of tea & coffee each & few packs of sugar. Ladies toilet at lobby is so dark & poorly ventilated, was sweating there. No board games available, so it is just beach & pool.
Review 66:Free wifi throughout stay, & throughout resort. Friendly & helpful staff. Many Thail restaurantso just across street.
Review 67:A bit too far from Ao Nang town. Tuk Tuk service was so expensive. Hotel only provide shuttle bus on two days only
Review 68:Beautiful view. Nice and cosy room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. WiFi is strong.
Review 69:Almost nothing. However property is not so big thus it is more suitable for shorter holidays. Beach was great but in July there was many jelly fishes.
Review 70:Everything is very nice and arranged with taste. Swimming pool is perfect. Beach is also very beautiful however we were there in July and there was lot of jelly fishes. Close to Ao Nang beach. Staff was very kind. One day they suggested us perfect restaurant close to Ao Nang beach and we were so happy to visit it.
Review 71:Dangerous slippery rocks and hotel would not take any responsibility forany accident. During low tide, rocks are exposures, quite beautiful andtempting to walk. I did and slipped and injured my ankle and that wasthe end of my holiday as I couldn't walk. Contacted reception butnot much concern. Food at the beach bar is so-so and not value formoney, however great food on the street across the main gate (Banthairestaurant). Wonderful hospitality, great drinks from'Longultable' bar...ambience and service from tommy was great.
Review 72:The location and the natural surrounding…the early morning high tideswith waves reaching the pool (great for a swim but not kids)..lateafternoon low tide leaves a stretch of over 50mtr brown beach lovely fora jog or yoga. Staff were great.
Review 73:We lost channel 12 on our TV and rang reception three times and they advised that engineering would come and fix - never did and we gave up. While the staff where very helpful the level of English at reception needed improvement - if you have any issues go see them don't do it over the phone - a minor issue but will make your stay much more enjoyable
Review 74:As a genius member of Bookings.com we where upgraded to a villa room with direct beach and water views. Great big room , private and would always recommend to ask for a sea view room as its worth every dollar
Review 75:Restaurant Hotel had limited options (suggest trying the few restaurants on the street across from the resort, they don't look like much but had great food) Only the rooms in the main building had guaranteed sea view. Only a few villas and no bungalows had them so if you want the view you have to stay at the main hotel or know ahead which villas had a view and reserve just that. Karaoke and live music 2-3 times per week could be annoying, but ended pretty early and many people enjoyed it (just not us) For diving or boat excursions you have to go to Ao Nang... but its worth the price to not stay in Ao Nang which is kind of a back packers town (not a bad thing, we just wanted a romantic get away)
Review 76:Great Breakfast Buffet (one of the largest I have seen), Fast wifi, infinity pool to die for, nice semi-private beach. very clean, view from the main buildings are amazing, great beach to watch the sunset, strong A/C, modern rooms... really in my opinion one of the nicest most luxuries places to stay in the Krabi area.
Review 77:None
Review 78:The whole stay was awesome..first sight of the ocean from the reception... rooms, staffs facilities, proximity to Indian restaurant...ething was amazing...
Review 79:Bit of a walk to get to town. Went down to breakfast at 9, no bacon, no sausages, most the fruit eaten.
Review 80:Right on the beach with a infinity pool to die for.
Review 81:Massage was very expensive 1400 Baht per hour
Review 82:Location right on beach, Swimming Pool near beach, BIG BIG Room, Big Bath , Big Bed & best Staff ever seen, very courteous staff all over, Best location for dinner, Drinks, & breakfast on the beach , Sea View from the pool & nearby Indian restaurents & other choices..Good Breakfast & lots of choices
Review 83:Toilet didn't have exhaust ventilation system, strange for a remarked hotel in Krabi.
Review 84:I liked the view! The dinner also all the staff was kind with us. And breakfast quite delicious.
Review 85:1. Conditions for staff: Receptionists are nice and provide good service, however look very overworked with multitasking and multiple calls from guests. Staff at restaurant look not happy sometimes as well. Compared to other hotels we stayed in Thai, we noticed this pattern for this the first time. 2. Facilities: Tourists need to be ready to spend, which might be typical to most of the places in Krabi: hotel shuttle bus goes to the city only 3 times per week, you need taxi if willing to spend time outside hotel. For hotel airport transfer be ready to spend 1,000 Baht. 3. Room and its cleaning: We expected room itself to be more comfortable to stay in and at least meet the basic standards. Sometimes we were disappointed. Once we found a piece of glass on the floor. All the time there was some smell from the bathroom: drains were a bit smelly and even changing the room didn’t help. Maybe cleaning staff should pay a bit more attention to details and make sure there is no black mold on sink, tap, shower, etc. The poor lightening in the room looks like an odd designer’s idea. In summary, it looks like if management could invest more into renovation to replace worn out furniture, floorings, bath recovery and put more amenities – tourists would flock to this nice overall hotel.
Review 86:It was our second trip to Thai and we were looking for a nice place to stay for 6 nights to avoid crowds at Ao Nang and have a relaxing time off – we got it! There are top 5 specific things we liked about our experience at Beyond: 1. Hotel territory and spot plan: neat and authentic, including a brilliant swimming pool (not that deep though and open 7am - 7pm) and white-powder-sand beach. The only point worth mentioning is maybe the feature of Klong Muang beach during this time: it was difficult to find a sea to swim in after 2:00 p.m. due to low tide. 2. Location: Between Nakamada and Sheraton, a peaceful location right on the beach, very close to nice restaurants alongside the main road (Maria’s, highly recommended) good for dinner . 3. Breakfast: Outstanding selection of dishes from smoked fish, omelette to sauteed vegetables and fruits. 4. Services: They have their own tourist office where you can book any tour for you. The Fitness Centre has some nice machines for workouts and is not crowded at all. The treatment programs and overall experience in Kanda Spa is terrific.
Review 87:Compared to other hotels we stayed in Thailand, Staff here are overworked. Day time receptionists should not be answering calls about blocked toilets etc while checking in guests. I enquired about trip to Phi phi island, and gentleman at Travel office very unhelpful, did not even look at me as he was doing paper work. i walked out without any assistance. Later that evening, lady at reception desk very helpful and booked my trip through hotel at 1/2 the cost the travel desk quoted. The hotel restaurant food is atrocious and overpriced. Eat at outside nearby restaurants Cleaning staff should pay attention to detail. sink handles clean on top but dirty underneath. I noted dust behind tv.
Review 88:Nice location right on beach. Beach not crowded. Nice restaurants near by. Nice breakfast
Review 89:The restaurant on the evening - we had a meal and it was the worst meal from our 3 week trip. Bland and way too expensive! There are a few little restaurants out on the main rd which are way better or just head into Ao nang Some of the staff are just rude!! Some are amazing but we'd expect better for the price we paid. You are held to ransom a bit as its out of the way. food and Ben is far too expensive. You will be charged for everything! There are signs stating the charge fees for every little thing - kind of takes the magic away, Requested early check in and had to wait 6hrs for our room and were told to change in a toilet! But after saying we'd prefer a changing room they took us to the gym where we could get a shower and freshen up after our flight.
Review 90:Let me start by saying this is absolutely a beautiful location and the hotel is lovely. We stayed in a villa room with a sea view and it was lovely - the bed was perfect! If you like big chain hotels then this is for you. If they made a few adjustments it could be absolutely perfect and total paradise. It is an absolutely perfect hotel in ways and you will have an enjoyable stay but it could be better.
Review 91:Mistakes made in calculating the final bill. Being overcharged and having to argue before getting an accurate bill. The deposit I paid was forgotten about and that amount included in the final bill.
Review 92:Breakfast and view.
Review 93:Not suitable for family travelling with young children as it does not have kids room and room we stayed is far from resort lobby with very basic facilities in-room, against the price we paid.
Review 94:Wide variety of food for breakast, awesome beach view from resort lobby and swimming pool. Staff are friendly and quite attentive.
Review 95:Location is far away from downtown Hotel beach is quite common without any interest, just a flat long beach With low tide impossible to swim Rooms furniture are old and bad decoration
Review 96:we originally booked a cottage, which was not to our satisfaction at all, and after a complaint were given an upgrade.
Review 97:Staff were very helpful, and sorted out problem very quickly and efficiently.
Review 98:Wifi not stable, always need relogin
Review 99:Various and nice breakfast, nice swimming pools, room big enough for 4pax (1 babies,1 5yrs old kids), beach very clean
Review 100:The staff are very nice but not very good at English. Room cleaning is just so-so but not thorough. Since it's holiday season, so can't give us early check-in or late check-out, and it's little bit overprice, especially compared to what Sheraton or Sofitel could offer nearby.
Review 101:The location is very good with quiet and private beach and lots of restaurants around.
Review 102:The check in process is dreadful, and every single day people were being delayed checking in by 40 mins or so. Not what you expect at this price. There are also a lot of family groups with a large number of children.
Review 103:The location is phenomenal, and the facilities excellent. The food was also great. The catering staff were very friendly, the reception staff much less so.
Review 104:Leaving, there's just nothing to default. I'm pretty sure that if someone has had a bad experience it's just because they like to wine about stupid small things or are just negative people in general.
Review 105:What can I say.....from arrival to departure everything was great. The staff is super friendly, nothing was too much. The location is great, like a little paradise, the beach is gorgeous, amazing sunsets. Breakfast was the best, so much choice for every one. The room was of a very high standard, we booked the one with the ocean view. There is lots of trips you can book, and the hotel offers a lot of courses. There are lots of good restaurants opposite the street of the hotel, for us there was no need to go to Ao Nang. I would definitely recommend Maria's literally opposite the hotel. They are so friendly and their food was the best with great prices. We stayed for one week and we felt really sad we had to leave such a great place.
Review 106:Resraurant is quite pricey.
Review 107:Really loved the architecture and the rooms at the hotel building with balcony opening to the sea & bathrooms with view to sea.
Review 108:Leaving,Leaving, Leaving, Minor issues related to limited food choices for Dinner. Lunch choices rather limited, Bathrooms- Drains a bit smelly......
Review 109:Everything, peace, tranquil, view, setting, architecture, space, Good Breakfast, Great Pool.
Review 110:We are Vegetarians!! Food spread for us was not upto our expectation, although others might find it adequate. For Non Vegetarians, it is a bliss I could see!!! Another thing I would like to point out is that we carried our food from home and we wanted to eat it at our room and we asked for some cutlery. The room service asked us to pay 50 Baht per piece of cutlery o.e., 50 baht for a spoon, 2 spoons - 100 baht, 2 plates 100 baht, 2 bowls - 100 baht...I mean, I would say this is a premium property. I would not have expected this out of them. Well, there is a Mini stor right out side the property where i could find disposable cutlery.
Review 111:Like the staff, very friendly and always greet you with a smile. Rooms are clean and spacious, although the cottage I had booked was quite a walk from the restaurant or Lobby. If it is sunny or if you are tired, walk would feel even longer. Travel desk is very efficient. Sigh Seeing tours booked through the hotel were very comfortable and safe.
Review 112:The location is approx 15 minutes from Ao Nang and 30 minutes from Krabi Town - so the result is that the Beyond Resort is somewhere to relax and unwind, as it is unlikely to attract large numbers of families with children.
Review 113:Elegant and nice sandy beach, great pool, good variety of breakfast. Nice staff, lovely hotel. Could offer more disc for advance bookings. The wifi is free and works well. (Booking.com has not correct info about this!) The view is amazing from the seaview rooms! This hotel has the best location around.
Review 114:The place is vastly overpriced. (£200.00 per night,) I just don't know how they felt they could justify those rates. Courtesy airport transfer 15% higher than taxi rates. Inflexible breakfast times.
Review 115:Mostly pleasant staff
Review 116:Upon arrival at the hotel, we were greeted by the warm smiles of the staff. The check in counter had a very beautiful view. Complimentary fesh fruits were served while we wait for our room key. We stayed in the cottage room. We saw some bad reviews on the cottage rooms but to our surprise the room we had was absolutely lovely! It was peaceful and clean with everything working properly. The buggy never fails to pick us up and take us to the beach. My sister and I enjoyed our stay with Beyond Resort Krabi. We would like to thank Rolf and his team for making our stay a memorable one!
Review 117:The staff is very friendly and helpful. Also I liked very much the sport classes organized by the hotel. I highly recommend taking a class with Manlika. We can't wait to go back.
Review 118:As a muslim we expect the food to be halal but very dissapointed the restaurant serve pork and we already paid for breakfast. We didn't have so many choices food to eat.
Review 119:- Breakfast quality can also be further improved - Food quality from the restaurant is not good (but room service food quality bit better then restaurant)
Review 120:- Swimming pool (only open 7am - 7pm). - Sea view from the room is beautiful (we stayed in sea view room)
Review 121:Unfortunately, the breakfast selection weren't great. Another minus point is it's location on Kluong Mueng which is far from Ao Nang. To go Ao Nang you'll be charged approx 500bhat one way. So make that 2 ways its costly! There are no activities at the hotel and getting food apart fm the hotel quite difficult. For Muslim traveller, we suggest to stick to Ao Nang lots of halal food and transport to Krabi Town are easier. They mostly upgrade small family to villa. Although it's a nice upgrade, its tuck far end of the resort. If you come back at night, the buggy wont send you. It is quite a distance to walk to the villa, dark and quiet. Not very child ir elderly friendly.
Review 122:We were in awe upon arrival as the lobby is located high above the sea. The view is superb. What's more we were upgraded to a villa. The staff I think Susie is her name are very warm, she sent us to our room & explained all details to the room. Very thoughtful indeed that beach slipper, towel & bag provided. Villa looked a little tired but otherwise clean and has such amazing view of the beach. Walk down to the beach and pool were easy access. Pool temperature were jus perfect for a dip anytime of the day.
Review 123:Our cottage is a bit away from the lobby and beach, the airport service is expensive, we booked online and got a brand new car picking us up!
Review 124:The beach is nice, room is quiet, there is mini mart and restaurant just coss street
Review 125:Location is perfect

Review 130:not so many choice of food
Review 131:the location is just on the beach
Review 132:Location is far of airport and the sea is very dirty
Review 133:See view room is incredible
