Review 1：Room was unclean - had roaches. Bathroom was so small and poorly designed. No mirror in the room itself so it was difficult for all guests to get dressed. Age of the facility with worn and dirty carpet was evident. Elevators are in poor shape. Manager was supposed to contact us regarding the complaint we made about the roaches in our room, but did not receive a contact from the manager. Will never stay here again and will tell all our friends and family about the poor experience.

Review 3：The bathroom shelf in the suite was in the way when trying to wash & rinse my face while shaving. We had to cock our head to the side in order to rinse. Definitely Needs to be redesigned.

Review 5：That Bookings charged us full price for a room facing the west corner of the hotel. Hotel said we didn't receive the off season pricing.

Review 11：Michelle, who works at the front desk, was always friendly, and very helpful. She helped us find a local seafood restaurant, which was delicious. Everyone on staff was friendly, and seemed to love their job. The beach was private, so it was not too crowded. The people who were staying there were also very nice, and lots of families were also staying there too.

Review 20：Our first night an alarm kept going off in the hall. Several people on our floor tried to call the front desk to see what was going on, but there was no answer. By the time we grabbed our belongings and headed for the stairwell, the alarm was off again.

Review 21：We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I loved that the beach was just downstairs! The hotel was located within walking distance of The Hangout, souvenir stores, and resturants. It rained for part of our stay, so the indoor pool was a welcome treat. Both the indoor and outdoor pools were quit large and had a heated pool on the side. We were happy to have the pancake island resturant on site. The food was delicious! Thanks, Best Western, for helping make our 2015 vacation a success.

Review 22：The door lock didn't work well and the air conditioner was not working well. The facility looks a little run down on the upper floors and the elevator smelled.

Review 24：Ignored by staff at front desk and at pancake house. Room was only slightly clean when we checked in and still smelled of its previous occupants. The beach is lined with chairs, but if you actually want to sit in one, you must pay $30 up front for the day. No, out can't be billed to your room. Really, just bring your own chairs. For what you paid for the room, the chairs should be included, and so should breakfast.

Review 28：We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is in the perfect location. It's is on a beautiful part of the beach, and it is walking distance to several restaurants, bars, & stores. Not to mention also walking distance to the pier as well. The hotel was clean, it was a little bit older but it was still nice. The staff was friendly & helpful. The food was excellent, we had breakfast there everyday of our stay, just a little on the pricey side, in my opinion, for breakfast. All in all a good stay, we would go back again!

Review 31：Being clean is big deal to me. This place was super clean! Loved it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Slept like a baby, very comfortable. I read a lot of reviews before booking, this place was all they said it was.

Review 32：Not a bad experience just a miscommunication. Booked through Booking.com and came down a day early. Our reservation got moved up a day so they had us checking out a day early. Heather was awesome in getting it resolved and we got a free breakfast for our time. The room rate was higher than booking.com rated.

If you are looking for a clean room to lay your head next to the beach, this is it. No bells and whistles.

Review 57：Staff were nice, especially the one who processed our reservation before we got there. She took care of all special requests and recognized us (by my son's autism) when we arrived. Autism friendly and accommodating. Room were nice and clean. Didn't hardly hear a sound while in the room except when loud people walked down the hall. Location good.
