Reviews for Morningstar Inn - Bethlehem

Review 1:The property is gorgeous and super clean. Every amenity is provided. The owners took great care in restoring this home and it shows. The hosts are very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious! Would love to come in the summer when the pool is open!

Review 2:This is a beautiful place. The Breakfast was amazing and the couple that own the Inn, Virginia and Tim, are friendly and went out of their way to see to our comfort.. They were kind and gracious and I enjoyed the creativity they displayed in the presentation of our breakfast. Virginia is an excellent cook and host. Tim is very knowledgeable about the history and renovations made to the Inn. They were also very gracious to our friends who stopped by to see where we were staying. The Inn is beautiful, the bed was soft and inviting, and the room and private bath were very nice. I am so happy to have found such a wonderful place to stay while visiting my family in Bethlehem.

Review 3:It was very difficult to connect to the WiFi.

Review 4:The inn is a beautiful home in a perfect location and has a lovely back garden. Virginia, the Innkeeper was very attentive to all of our special dietary needs and the food was delicious!

Review 5:TV was substandard.

Review 6:Attractive, well located, nicely appointed mansion; lovely room with comfortable bed, terrace and large, upgraded bathroom with heated floor; hospitable hosts prepared an excellent breakfast.

Review 7:My wife and I needed a short, and close, getaway. Settling on Bethlehem PA, we booked 2 nights at the Morningstar Inn based on other ratings, and glad we did. The inn is a beautifully restored colonial revival immaculately kept, and with lovely landscaped grounds. Tim and Virginia are wonderful, engaging hosts. And Virginia, a trained pastry chef, treated us an other guests to exceptional breakfasts always including fresh baked muffins, scones or other delights. A special treat is the 5pm wine and snack for all guests! BTW, the town is a little treasure too. Go. And stay with Tim and Virginia. You won't be disappointed.

Review 8:Not bad, but could have used a better window treatment to keep light out.

Review 9:walking distance to downtown Bethlehem. Many quiet areas to be inside and out. Modern conveniences in Historic home.

Review 10:My bff and I took a mini vacation and this was perfect. Virginia is,an amazing hostess and an even better baker!! It was close to so many things. We had the pleasure of enjoying the musicfest. Looking forward to doing this trip again!

Review 11:After checking out, our only comment was that we needed more time. We didn't have a chance to swim (or play billiards) while we were there.

Review 12:We enjoyed the little details throughout the inn: the star theme, quirky decor and lovely garden (we recognized the purple plants in the front flower bed as embellishment on our breakfast plates). While admiring the counted cross stitch, we learned that Virginia, the Inn owner, had made them herself. I also appreciated that they made accommodations for my husband's food allergies. Speaking of food, the chocolate cookies were awesome.

Review 13:A perfect location for an overnight while attending a wedding in nearby Easton. Virginia was a perfect hostess, the room (mine was Casablanca) was comfortable and spacious, and breakfast was outstanding.

Review 14:Traffic noise on Center Street side of building.

Review 15:Beautiful restored old house with character; antique furniture throughout; much nicer than staying in an impersonal hotel

Review 16:I can not say anything negative about the Morningstar Inn and the owners.

Review 17:Everything there was nothing to not like. Room, cleanliness, food, owners, everything was perfect.

Review 18:Location was great, as was breakfast, parking, walkability and hospitality. My husband isn't keen on B&B's but, even he raved about the Morningstar Inn. Would definitely stay again. Virginia was an excellent inn keeper and easy to interact with.

Review 19:Arriving for a wedding, and having worked at b&b inns, I always choose to compare wherever I go. This inn was wonderful from beginning to end. The service, the accommodations, the location, the food was amazing, and the innkeepers were terrific. Planning to go back in the summer.

Review 42:Didn't find any negatives about our stay.

Review 43:The owners were very friendly. The breakfast was delicious. We mostly stay in B&B's when we travel and the Morningstar Inn was above average. We would certainly stay there again.

Review 44:One questions too many 10s. Hardly possible. But in this case true. This is a wonderful B&B and small inn. The owners, one energetic, the other more laconic but droll, are there to help and give advice but they are not intrusive. The bedrooms are large and with plenty of space to lay personal stuff down - with a wonderfully comfortable chair and lamp to read by. The first floor, entirely open to guests, is friendly - I spent several hours reading in front of the fireplace. And, as the others have noted, the breakfasts are superb. On my morning there - a slice of raspberry-almond cake, a poached pear, an egg soufflée with bacon and wheat toast. And, of course, the free wine and cheese before dinnertime.

Review 45:The breakfaast was delicious. We really enjoyed freshly bake pastries, and te poached pear in rasberry sauce. You have use of the living room and atrium. There is also a billiards table available for your use. The hosts are extremely helpful and friendly.

Review 46:The pillows were a little to hard for my liking but the place was wonderful.
