Reviews for WorldMark Taos

Review 1:Had issues with heating that were not resolved. The murphy bed was not ideal, mattress was comfortable, but no headboard to lean on, no side tables, no reading lamp. TV was hard to see comfortably from bed, had to sit in uncomfortable love-seat. We had noise issues with pipes as well... In our view, it's over priced for what you get.

Review 2:Clean, fresh, secure

Review 3:The heating/cooling system was not working properly the first night, which was only an issue because the maintenance person was off by the time we discovered the problem late at night. The staff did would it could by quickly giving us plenty of blankets and then fixing the problem the very next morning.

Review 4:Very responsive staff.

Review 5:I thought the young man, Estavan was excellent. The mature gentleman however could improve his communication skills.

Review 6:The location is perfect. It's a beautiful property.

Review 7:The pool is sufficient, but the area is U.G.L.Y. maybe add some pottedplants or something? Wifi was supposed to cost $ but a helpful enployeehelped me get around that. Wifi was slow, but better than nothing.Parking lot is gravel and a muddy mess when it rains, but this seemedcommon in Taos overall.

Review 8:Desk staff were friendly and helpful. Joe, in particular, wasinteresting to talk with and he had lots of great suggestions for thingsto do and places to eat. The room was very comfortable. The location wassuper convenient to downtown plaza and many shops and restaurants. Wow!Great location!

Review 9:Fan did not work well; stale air. After asking for repair, nothing had changed. We asked for fans; they weren't delivered until we called a second time. Small issue for otherwise wonderful room and experience.

Review 10:Great location, wonderful amenities, lovely room (suite was roomy and with 2 full baths). It met our needs well; one couple plus one other adult. Highly recommend; balcony was small but nice. A little off the road, so no noise. Grounds were very nice.

Review 11:We stayed five nights for a ski trip with our two boys 17 and 14. There was enought room in the one bedroom unit for us to not feel crowded and the laundry facilities were perfect for drying our ski gear every night! Definitely coming back next year!

Review 12:Housekeeping didn't come to take out trash or deliver fresh towels. We didn't realize this was a timeshare and therefore these services were not provided daily, but the front desk was happy to give us extra towels.

Review 13:Service was excellent. Staff allowed us to check-in early and check-out late. Very clean. Close to everything in town. Lots of amenities.

Review 14:The rooms were horrible. We thought we were getting two rooms with bedrooms and fireplaces. Instead we got a bed in the wall. The worst sleep ever. I will never use booking.com again.

Review 15:The fireplaces in the lobby were nice.

Review 16:The Murphy bed wasn't the most comfortable bed.

Review 17:I very particular about my hotels. I reserved a studio and it was perfect. It was cosy and clean. I loved it!

Review 18:The only inconvenience was how far the ice machine was from where my studio was located!

Review 19:I love the studio that I had for 3 days. It is a cozy, complete haven! It is so nice to have the kitchenette & complete utensils for eating in. The studio is perfect for a singe person.

Review 20:property is very centrally located, The museum right next door is a must visit site in Taos. Staff were all very friendly and very helpful, we stayed in a suite, it had all the amenities for a long stay We would stay here again

Review 21:The couch bed was so uncomfortable it was impossible to sleep on it. Wouldn't recommend a studio room.

Review 22:Comfortable rooms, patio, gas fireplace, very tastefully decorated and handy kitchen facilities with everything you need. Close to everything.

Review 23:The room was old. The heater is way outdated and the room was cold. No food was offered at all. Would not return.

Review 24:No pet policy!

Review 25:Central Taos location.

Review 26:Initially, front desk attendant was unfriendly. She lightened up the second day we were there.

Review 27:Location, cleanliness, having a fridge and microwave

Review 28:Poor Wi-Fi. Took 3 trips to front desk and about 45 minutes to get on line. Found out this is a problem at more than a few Windham hotels

Review 29:Location

Review 30:Great location. Lovely rooms. The staff was really helpful and nice.

Review 31:I would like to have had more lighting in each of the rooms. The over all feel was very dark.

Review 32:Location Room itself

Review 33:Staff was very accomodating.

Review 34:No cooker

Review 35:Location, style, staff, pool

Review 36:The bed

Review 37:Location and size of room

Review 38:Murphy bed and smoking allowed on balconies.

Review 39:Location and cleanliness.

Review 40:No free wifi

Review 41:We liked the location of the property, walking distance to everything we wanted to see.

Review 42:The staff was great, as was the actual hotel. I really enjoyed my stay.

Review 43:Wonderful Staff! Beautiful facility! Very convenient to all major Taos sites!!

Review 44:Clean, quiet, comfortable with cordial staff and, through booking.com, a fabulous deal.

Review 45:that I couldn't stay longer

Review 46:close to downtown beautiful building quiet setting friendly and helpful staff quiet setting nice pool felt cozy

Review 47:The Murphy bed

Review 48:Internet not free.

Review 49:Off Main Street yet within walking distance to shops.

Review 50:The kitchenette had everything I needed. The room was clean and well-appointed, the fold-out bed was comfortable and the staff were terrific.

Review 51:Nothing.

Review 52:Quiet. Very comfortable studio; great bed! Can't wait to return.

Review 53:I prefer to stay in a motel that has a restaurant or food service. The room was excruciatingly hot.

Review 54:I liked the location within walking distance of the plaza, the peace and quiet and beautiful setting.

Review 55:The pool area. Considering it is such a gorgeous hotel fencing off the pool like a Motel 8 seemed such a shame! It was nice enough but a much better job could have been done with it. One little thing....it would be so much nicer if you provide real cream (half/half) with coffee. The powdered stuff is just nasty and so bad for you!

Review 56:Location was perfect, beautiful lobby and awesome room (can't beat having two bathrooms for three girls!) Lovely grounds and really nice staff while we were there. Fabulous value for money too.

Review 57:There was a constant hum from somewhere near my room. I wear earplugs to sleep, so it was no big deal.

Review 58:This is a first class establishment. Hot tub is very nice.

Review 59:The hotel was beautiful, better than expected. To top it off, the staff was incredibly nice and attentive. I had never received a courtesy call just to see if the room was up to par. I will definitely stay again when I'm in Taos.

Review 60:There was no fireplace in the room, even though the Booking.com description said there was.

Review 61:The room was well furnished and it was great having a kitchenette in the room

Review 62:The floor in our studio was very uneven and easy to trip on. There were low spots with up to 2" variance. HVAC fan was non existent. Cool or heated air just "fell" out of the vents. Construction cones were placed on stair steps thus limiting the step area...even though no construction going on in the area of the stairs. My luggage snagged one of the cones causing it to fall in front of me and I fell down the steps.

Review 63:The staff was great. Kudos to Joe who made us feel welcome and appreciated. Bed was surprisingly comfortable even though it was a Murphy bed. Room was clean.

Review 64:Room arrangement, ie the Murphy Bed was poor choice, awkwardly placed such that entire stay was disrupted. Wood blinds did not fit windows /doors and provided exposure from outside. Had to hang blanket and towels over windows in bathroom and French doors. Hotel offered to move me upstairs but same problem there. Unfortunate incident of front door getting locked while having dinner with family in another room while there caused fire dept having to come up ladder over banister to virtually beat down door to get us out. Then no staff to help us move them to another room. I was glad to leave the place early. Earlier I had scheduled a week there but changed to only three days after I read comments about the room on hotel website, specifically the Murphy Bed, little storage. So much wasted space in that studio room. Poorly designed. Will likely not stay there again.

Review 65:Booking.com gave misinformation. There was no fireplace as indicated. Booking.com did not mention that the bed was in the wall and had to be brought down. It was literally 2 inches from the mini-refrigerator and there was not a nightstand by the bed for the alarm clock.

Review 66:The staff were wonderful! They felt bad that there was misinformation in the booking.com confirmation.

Review 67:No shampoo, lotion....but herbs and spices? We did have a shower, wedidn't have a stove. I appreciate not wanting to be wasteful butdidn't pack those toiletries that are generally provided.

Review 68:Not having daily maid service, it is so wasteful to change sheets andtowels daily. Location is great, quiet, convenient.

Review 69:It would be nice to have maybe a happy hour or a continental breakfast.A stove would be nice as well.

Review 70:Marty checked us in and he was excellent. He was very friendly and gaveus lots of info. Our initial plan was to stay at the Sagebrush Inn,where we stayed in the past. When I went online to book it, the ratesincreased to like $189 for a standard room. I started checking Taos,Angel Fire, Red River, and Ruiodoso. Looking for quality andaffordability. I looked at many hotels online, read reviews, andWorldMark was my final choice. When we pulled up, we were delighted thatit didn't look like a roach motel like the others. When we entered,we were even more satisfied, with the lobby and the staff. We loved ourone bedroom suite. It had everything we wanted and needed. This will beour number one place to stay from now on. We are also rci members butwere unable to use our week during this time. We liked the way the suitewas set up, the ammenities, the security of the facility, the design, location, and mostly that it's pretty new, unlike many of the otherplaces we looked at. The patio was nice. The hottub was nice. We willplan to visit in the Summer.

Review 71:In studio, not enough storage in unit to be able to unpack clothing.

Review 72:nothing at all.

Review 73:Very comfortable, with great amenities. Staff was wonderful, especially Marty.

Review 74:No breakfast !!!!!! For the price , there should be something for breakfast.
