Reviews for Wydnor Hall Inn

Review 1:Breakfast was served 8-9. Didn't have beverages available any other time. Were shown right to our room, didn't get any information other than when breakfast was served. When you have never been to a B&B it is nice to have a brief overview of what to expect. This was not done.

Review 2:The place was simply beautiful. Service excellent, met at the door and helped us to our room. Explained the breakfast requirements such as telling we wanted our breakfast, all was ready and waiting for us. Wonderful homemade yoghurt and assorted breads, fruit, cereal and a hot breakfast. Ours was croissant French toast with fresh blueberries and preserved peaches.

Review 3:this inn is running by the owner herself, she is the only staff working here, house is very nice and comfortable , bery few guest rooms inside the house, the 1st night I was a little upset , because I could not find the owner since 7:30pm when I back to the hotel and I thought I and my daughter was the only peoples in side the whole night. Anyway, if you don't mind to pay the taxi for finding meals, it is a good place to stay , just as stay in friend's nice home, but, if your r a lady and alone, ensure you r brave enough, because you also could feel you r the only one inside the big ancient house. Also, I am a person whom used to keep the room clean, so I made my bed each morning, I did not find the room was cleaned during my stay. Maybe you could ask.

Review 5:It was a very clean, quiet and charming bed and breakfast. The rooms were larger than expected with all the amenities you would find at a hotel. The breakfast was simple but good, with great coffee.

Review 6:A little dusty, wifi password didn't work for me.

Review 7:Beautiful decorations throughout room and building. Charming, comfortable library with interesting selection of books. Good breakfast.

Review 8:After that experience of not having electric on the whole top floor and being late for my sons graduation and missing the breakfast with the graduates because I had no electric to do my hair or charge myself and to take pictures that day the owner never even contacted me to do anything about it highly disappointed

Review 9:When ever it asked for something that wasn't usual or convenient the answer was no. Do you have a little ice for our lunch cooler? No you can get it at the Gas station.

Review 10:No complaints.

Review 11:We only had a brief overnight at Wydnor Hall so could not take full advantage of it, but the staff was pleasant, the room comfortable and clean, and the breakfast the next morning with French toast and fresh peaches was heavenly.

Review 12:Nice clean place, very eclectic decor, real silver coffee service in the morning with wonderful coffee. Excellent breakfast on Saturday morning. Would have liked to take my coffee back up to my room but was not permitted. They did however leave the service out so I could have another cup after my shower!

Review 13:The town emergency alarm siren was a little loud, it went off a couple of times during our stay. Just one of those things!!!!

Review 14:Delightful B&B. We stayed over a weekend and enjoyed hearty breakfasts and pleasant staff.

Review 15:The staff was great, and I felt very welcomed into their home. My room was clean, comfy, and had everything I could have needed. My boyfriend and I were visiting Dorney park and the location was pretty great! Loved staying here compared to a motel.

Review 16:Owner Kristina was kind enough to upgrade us to the Bordaria Cottage for our 10 day stay. This converted former carriage house is very private and would be perfect for honeymooners, people celebrating anniversaries and for longer stays. Only 10 minutes from Sands Casino ,easy access to all Bethlehem area attractions and major highways.

Review 17:Hostess was less than personable at check in which was surprising for a B&B. Most B&B ops. have strong people and welcoming skills. For the rate, there should not be 1/2 repaired, non repainted ceilings in the bedroom. Grounds are fair. Parking is terrible.

Review 18:Old Style B&B with some modern updates primarily in the bath. Comfortable. Quiet. Clean.

Review 19:Loved every second.

Review 20:It really was like stepping back in time. A mini museum of fabulous art and interesting objects. Loved our room. The service was perfection. Very high praise!

Review 21:Quiet, peaceful. Out of the way, but close to everything we needed. Staff was friendly; food was good.

Review 22:Quaint and convenient

Review 23:We were secluded..no people around..

Review 24:The house is nice..

Review 25:The breakfast is spectular and the surroundings very warm yet elegant.

Review 26:Excellent B and B.

Review 27:The squeaky floors!

Review 28:The charm of the building.

Review 29:Not much other than the weather.

Review 30:Charming, quite, relaxing, just what I like.

Review 31:The staff were very friendly.

Review 32:Quiet and Nicole at breakfast was so sweet.

Review 33:The house is amazing! Great location, beautiful rooms, good breakfast. Really worth a stay - good value for money.

Review 34:Everything!! Nothing more to say!! Great staff, great food, great stay. Would recommend to ALL my friends!!

Review 35:Beautiful home and comfortable furnishings. Even though it is located close to I-78 our room was extremely quiet.

Review 36:Great amenities but old world charm... breakfast was excellent.

Review 37:Parking was a bit of a problem but that was do, at least in part, to the bad winter weather.

Review 38:Very nicely done accommodations. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Review 39:Not terribly friendly or helpful hostess. She seemed tired of running this business. While facilities are nice they DO NOT live up to their promotional brochure!!

Review 40:Nice, clean rooms with lovely window treatments and furniture. Spacious private bathroom!

Review 41:It was stated that a hot breakfast would be served on weekends. We wouldassume that would mean that we would have some choice as in eggs, pancakes and some meat. Having just a choice of quiche or yogurt is notour idea of a hot breakfast. We were very disappointed. We left and wewent somewhere to have a real breakfast. Also we would of liked to have a TV in the room where the bed is and being at least a 32" screen. We were there to go diving and we would of liked to watch the weather and news at least.

Review 42:You have a lovely place, we enjoyed it.

Review 43:Having one or the other: yogurt with granola or hot entree. Most b&bs offer both. Guest kitchen wasn't open. No real choice of juice (we wanted apple, they didn't have), no hot chocolate. Room needs repair work, as does the rest of the house. Not overly friendly.

Review 44:After travelling a long distance, we got there early. Innkeeper accomodated us. Room was clean.

Review 45:Our room seemed like it could use a paint job. Crack in ceiling. Bed was ok. Pillow was hard. Front desk person was not that friendly. handed us key and receipt and pointed to room upstairs. No small talk or to point out area or ask questions. No talk of breakfast time. Kind of curt.

Review 46:The outside structure is gorgeous. Loved the stone. the room was ok...some nice antiques

Review 47:We had a very comfortable & spacious suite. The staff was very niceand made us a most delicious breakfast. We were only able stay one daydue to our schedule.....we would have liked to stay longer to reallyenjoy the relaxing atmosphere.

Review 48:This is the first B&B that we have stayed at that didn't provide a full breakfast. Upon arriving the innkeeper said that she would only provide a continental breakfast as she had no staff. The booking said "breakfast" not "continental breakfast". There was no reduction in the price. We've stayed there before but I guess we were lucky that it was on the weekend. We will not go back.

Review 49:Stayed in cottage. First floor cold. Unable to adjust tetemperature. Upstairs/bedroom lovely, toasty warm and cozy.

Review 50:That we couldn't stay longer :)

Review 51:Loved everybit of our stay! Room was excellent - wonderful breakfast. Great place

Review 52:Beautiful building and bedroom, delicious breakfast (croissant French toast with strawberries, oj, and coffee)

Review 53:charming owner, very good breakfast, great bathroom area!

Review 54:No one there when we arrived

Review 55:Historic place

Review 56:Nothing

Review 57:Everything

Review 58:Could be cleaner.

Review 59:Very convenient for our needs.

Review 60:My only comment is that the room was too warm at night. But I still slept well. The price was a little high.

Review 61:I like the charm and the breakfast.
