Review 1：Not being given the option of choosing our unit. Having to ask for a unit that was more accessible being seniors and not having to climb stairs with all our luggage etc. The sofa/bed was very uncomfortable, and not having blankets available for it. Parking could do with a bit more organization. I have stayed in better motel units at a much lower rate. Price did not justify the state & condition of the unit.

Review 3：Bed and sofa very uncomfortable. Spare blankets and pillows all had stains in them. Not enough utensils (like knives) to make cooking at home easy. Internet is 300Mb per stay.

Review 7：My AMEX was debited when I booked which meant a surcharge that I didn't realise would be added. Was not detailed on the confirmation sent to me or I could have offered a Visa card to avoid the extra cost. Staff were slow to tell me what the extra cost was when I queried it.

Review 15：The towels weren't white. They seemed old and not washed properly. The bedding smelt a bit too. The spa wasn't functioning properly. Also the picture of crepes we ordered was misleading (it showed berries, but the crepes didn't actually come with berries).

Review 18：At huge expense we took the ocean apartment what a farce for a view of the car park.Soundproofing was nil every move from the room above was heard,flushing the toilet woke us up and the tv was of poor quality with snow all over the screen.Not worth it won't be back.

Review 22：I was disappointed there was no hot tub, I rung ahead especially to check and was told there was, then when I asked for a booking on arrival was told the grove could not use it. This was one highlight we wanted. I would have changed the booking had I known.

Review 27：We were disappointed by the poor customer service and malfunctioning wifi despite paying an extra $50 for increased Internet service. I was also told at check in that I would probably have to pay an extra $40 per night above the quoted Bookings price for the 5th family member. I replied that that was unreasonable as the booking was made months prior and should have been discussed with me before I arrived.

Review 29：Gardens need to be cleared and maintained. Towels are threadbare and beyond help. Overall maintence needs to be stepped up before the facilities fall completely down. Friendly helpful staff though

Review 30：Being right in the beach is nice but it's not terribly convenient to shops. Being charged $40 a night to use the sofa bed is a bit over the top. Bedrooms and bathroom need more ventilation; the bathroom gets very steamed up with no extraction fan and the bedrooms only have the smallest openings in the window, the insect screens over them have rips in so are ineffective

Review 31：Needs insect screens on the doors and windows. As the unit has no heat pump, ventilation was the key. As some who reacts to insect bits, this place would not be choosen again.

Review 32：it was not as advertised part of the apartment complex on 4th ave. No soap,bedside lamp didn't work.. very ordinary and not worth the money.

Review 33：Onetangi beach was wonderful and we enjoyed the beach.

Review 34：First two nights we were in a beachfront unit. No visibility of beach. Just of public driveway with camp site opposite. No hot water to shower for second night. Tired fit out. Had to pay extra to move.

Review 35：We moved after two nights to the Strand Units, also part of Onetangi Apartments. These had beach front views and were modern, clean and comfortable.

Review 36：We could not have asked for a more comfortable apartment in a better location. Beautiful Onetangi Beach is right across the street. We had a wonderful view of the beach from both of out balconies.

A woman who had lived in sydney for 25 years and returned to work at the apartments. She was so helpful while the rest of staff just very apathetic

Review 47：Our reservation was actually for 'The Grove', not Onetangi Beach Apt's. The accomm was lovely. The main let down was that property had plumbing issues. This meant we had to go without any running water for the last 24hrs of our stay... Luckily we had just finished our showers after our daily beach outing though. Other than this slight holiday damper, the stay was very enjoyable.
