Reviews for Hotel The Cherry Garden
Review 1:Room was not cleaned at anytime, extra toilet paper never given. The manager/ owner tried to over charge for trips in his friends taxi. Very poor accommodation.
Review 2:If you like cold showers, dirty sheets this is the place for you.
Review 3:Nothing bad to say ...
Review 4:First of all i travelled with my son 25 and 64 years old . We stayed here 3 times during our stay in Nepal . First when arriving in Pokhara for 2 days , after our week trek 3 days then again after our 2 day stay in Tansen . The family is very nice and helpful . They will book whatever u need . A nice garden area and large rooms with balconies . A good basic breakfast to begin you day . Located off the Main Street and only 5 min walk .
Review 5:no hot water in all parts of day
Review 6:room comfort, hospitality, the breakfast, the fact that guest house is family owned. especially scent of night queen flower in the evening :)
Review 7:Excellent location - less than 5 mins walk to the main road. Rooms - very clean, spacious , great view, loved the balcony. Breakfast - excellent and delicious! Owner - extremely helpful and friendly! We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights - Overall we had a great experience and we highly recommend this hotel.
Review 8:Staying at The Cherry Garden was a great experience! The owner was kind, hospitable, and helpful. He told us all we needed to know about the area and the activities Pokhara had to offer. He even arranged for rides to and from the bus station. The location of the hotel is convenient—no more than a 5 minute walk to the main road by the lake. Both the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in Pokhara!
Review 9:Room blocked online was not available on arrival, had one downstairs, noisy and not the standard as advertised... But did not get a discount. Service for breakfast takes ages
Review 10:Nice garden, nice hammock
Review 11:Our bus left early in the morning, and early breakfast is not an option.
Review 12:Loved the close in Lakeside location without being right in the thick of the loud and touristy main street. Those few blocks make all the difference. Super friendly family-run feel. Lots of window with mountain views plus wrap around deck for watching the mountains. Simple, tasty breakfast. Great value for the price!
Review 13:Breakfast wasn't the best.
Review 14:The hotel is down a quieter street, but it's only a 2 minute walk to Lakeside. A perfect balance. The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and there is a nice garden and balcony.

Review 16:The mgr is a Indian, and boss is a Japenese . Both of them are soooo nice, helped us a lot in terms of service and travel consulting. Breakfast is covered in room charge and it't delicious!
Review 17:Out of the crouds, nice location helpfull stuff. Theu give to you a thermus to jeep the warm water for you tea!Hood breakfast menu with different choice.
Review 18:The smell of the downstairs communal toilet is kind of overwhelming as you enter the guesthouse. Other than this, the place is fantastic and we couldn't fault it.
Review 19:The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was good, just off a side street from the main road. The breakfasts were good and the outside terrace was inviting with hammocks.
Review 20:nothing
Review 21:It offers great value for money: it is brand new, spotless clean and in a great position, a couple of minutes walk from the likeside in a very quite area. The owner is very nice and eager to please and help his guests in any way!
Review 22:The only negative was that breakfast took a ridiculously long time so we ate out after the first morning.
Review 23:The owner was very nice, he even met us at the bus station even though we hadn't told him our itinerary. Nice quiet clean hotel fairly new, away from the hurly burly. Hammocks on the rooftop to admire the mountains from.
Review 24:Wifi on second floor was a little weak but worked better on other floors.
Review 25:This hotel was a great value. Hot showers 24hrs. Good wifi. Breakfast included. Owner/manager was kind and eager to please guests. We arranged a 5 day trek thru him. All that was promised was delivered for a reasonable price. Our guide was named Hem. Ask for this guide and you will be assured a quality trekking experience.
Review 26:Nothing
Review 27:Good location, near the touristic center of the town. Nice clean rooms. We like owner very much, he can help you with your problems and can book adventures and treks at the good price.
Review 28:the biggest problem with the place is that there is no counting on the reservation made. We stayed there for 1 night and booked for 2 more nights later during the week - but when we got back there was no room for us, even though we made a reservation in the calendar. the same thing happened to our friend. the bottom line is, it is a nice place to stay, but if you are counting on them to book a room for you when you are back from the trek - better to have a plan B.
Review 29:the rooms are very cosy and nice. some rooms are very big and comfortable and have a sitting area and a small closet which is nice. the showers and toilet are spotless.
Review 30:Fresh, clean room - including pristine bathroom. Friendly onsite owners who want you to enjoy their guesthouse. Close to everything but quiet at night. The most comfortable bed I've slept in since leaving home. Pleasant outdoor areas. Good breakfasts.
Review 31:Wrap around balcony
Review 32:The service was excellent, breakfast was good and as much tea or coffee that you wanted. View from the guesthouse was amazing and the location perfect
Review 33:The owner is such an attentive and kind person. He helped us with everything we wanted from renting scooters up to ideas which places to visit. The food is delicious, the hammocks wonderful and the rooms spacious.
Review 34:After almost a month travelling around India and Nepal it was a joy to find the Cherry Garden in Pokhara. This family run establishment less than 5 minutes walk from the centre of Pokhara action represents both quality of service and value for money. The friendly owner is more than happy to help organise anything you would like to get up to whilst there, or just bring complimentary freshly brewed filter coffee to you whilst you lie in a hammock and enjoy the view. All rooms have a great view as well as enjoying use of a small and quiet garden outside. Both the quick wifi and lighting aren't affected by the power cuts that haunt pokhara and the large airy rooms stay cool throughout the day. Overall a fantastic place at a brilliant price.
Review 35:Fantastic accommodations and a great location. Very nice and helpful family!
Review 36:Maybe the price, but in low season you can find something cheaper in better location.

Review 63:The price is very hight compared to other hotels very close, that are very good quality too. There are no amanities in the bathroom (soup) and in reception they don't give you a map, and I had to buy one in the shop. It's very expensive.
Review 64:The owner is very helpful and nice. He pick me up from the bus park station. They welcomed me with a drink. The room is clean, confortable and well located. Breakfast was included.
Review 65:The owner was very attentive and was always there to meet our needs with a smile on his face. Considering the owner was an ex trekking guide, he was very knowledgable and informative when it came to setting up our trek. The location was quiet and peaceful to enjoy a tea but close enough to walk to the lake. If I'm ever back in Pokhara, Cherry Garden is where I'll stay.

Review 67:The owner was friendly and helpful, although very pushy by asking me too many questions regarding my whereabouts and continuously reminding me to fill the review as it's important for his business. As a guest I don't like this kind of demanding approach.
Review 68:New property with a nice garden to relax. Spacious rooms with balconies. Good location not too far from the Lakeside.
Review 69:Not much. The power outages that affected pokhara never affected the wifi.
Review 70:We immediately were welcomed into the hotel and treated like family. The owners gave us excellent advice and shared many cups of delicous filter coffee with us. The room was affordable and away from city street noise.
Review 71:The owner tries hard to make your stay pleasant. The place is not too big which saves you from the tour groups. I personally loved the hammocks on the roof. Overall I think it definetely worth the money.
