Reviews for Hyatt Place Bethlehem
Review 1:The parking garage was a little creepy, I was a little nervous walking in there alone!
Review 2:I loved my room! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the pillows were awesome. I am very picky about bedding and I wanted to take it all home with me. The room was much bigger than the standard hotel room, I loved the shower and the shampoo and soap they provided. And the complimentary breakfast was excellent...eggs, sausage,French toast, fruit, toast, bagels, everything you could want, great coffee and a quiet, peaceful area to eat.
Review 3:i was really impressed at how clean the whole Hotel was and the professionalism of the Staff. They made us feel very welcome. Loved the shuttle drivers, very informative about the town.
Review 4:One thing..there wasn't a full restaurant, it would have been nice for dinner to just walk down with the little ones.
Review 5:The rooms and the breakfast both were beyond our expectations. Our three little granddaughters loved the pool!
Review 6:Loved all of our stay.no complaints at all
Review 7:Friendly staff, wonderful breakfast, awesome rooms. Would definitely stay there again and already told people that it is the place to stay.
Review 8:We were all disappointed with the quality of the food served at breakfast . The eggs must have been from a mix and the fruit was mushy .
Review 9:Clean , efficient family hotel.
Review 10:When we checked out they charged approximately $100 more for the 2 day stay claiming they had not gotten the info from booking.com when I made the reservation a week before. They did make the adjustment after it was brought to their attention.
Review 11:Loved being able to walk downtown, facility was clean and quiet and the rate I rec'e was very good.
Review 12:The courtesy and friendly nature of the staff, smiling faces of both staff and kitchen staff. Taking time to answer questions and always with a smile.
Review 13:My parking validation didn't work when leaving but was only $6 for an overnight stay.
Review 14:Convent garage parking across the street. Location is walking distance to the best restaurants in historic Bethlehem. The room was modern and very clean. High quality food for breakfast. I even used the workout room which had two treadmills, an elliptical machine and a recumbent bike as well as a nice set of Dumbbells. Perfect place for an adult couple to stay while enjoying historic Bethlehem.
Review 15:Bathroom was shabby and the hotel should have it's own parking. I do not like parking garages even if the hotel validates parking.
Review 16:Beds and pillows. Sofa was a nice place to visit.
Review 17:No cleaning service over the 2 days. Noisy when other guests were in hall; doors closing were very loud. Had to walk outside in the rain to get to parking garage.
Review 18:Price was competitive. Location downtown was good. Free parking in garage.
Review 19:None
Review 20:Price (usually 125-140) a night is best when I stay here. Food is very good is the morning. Everything is excellent what you should expect from a good hotel!
Review 21:Found it odd that we got HBO but weren't able to watch the Flyers play (a local PA team). So no local sports station? Found it odd that when checking in the first question I was asked was "so why are you in Bethlehem?" I laughed. Room service food is limited and expensive. Wasn't a fan of the quality either.
Review 22:Took the family to see Crayola in Easton. Close enough to the Factory but enough away to not have to spend full price for inner city hotel. Hotel is a tad pricey however we got a full package with crayola tickets included so it evened out and still cheapest around. Rooms are really unique, nothing like the average hotel one may stay in, a half partition perfect for separating kids and adults at night. Breakfast was great too. Large selection of great breakfast food. Has an indoor pool kids loved, a little small but got the job done. Service was helpful checking out. As it was snowing and having three kids, it was awesome to see a worker come out and offer help to load up our van. Kudos staff!
Review 23:My room wasn't booked by booking. Com like I booked. I almost didn't get my room. Lillian Bayonne
Review 24:I love my room and the food also. Breakfast was great too.
Review 25:Kitchen could not keep up with the demand for food at breakfast. 15-20 minute wait for eggs and sausage.
Review 26:It was very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Shuttle was a plus to get to casino
Review 27:The rooms were large, great for a family Of five. The staff was on top of their game, always willing to help out. The hotel was centrally located to the town, so we were able To walk to the restaurants.
Review 28:Breakfast wasn't the best. The eggs were a wierd consistency. Maybe powered eggs or something! But it was free!
Review 29:Room was very clean and spacious
Review 30:The toilet didn't flush correctly and after calling down stairs and being told someone would be up soon to help...I waited almost 45 minutes and called back and the front desk said they were going to switch my room and for me to come get the key...I think because i was inconvenienced they could at least brought the key and a trolley so i could move my things
Review 31:It was quiet and was able to rest well after a long night
Review 32:The size of the room and layout is perfect and this is my go-to hotel when traveling with my kids (17 and 12). I get the room with two queen beds and the partitioned seating area makes the room feel very spacious. After a day on the road, it's nice to be able to chill in the room and watch a movie on the nice sized TV.
Review 33:Centrally located to downtown area, comfortable bed, free wifi and free breakfast were added bonuses! Used the fitness center, which was very nice and clean too. Would visit again!
Review 34:The view of the roof wasn't too spectacular, but there was no way around that.
Review 35:The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Our breakfast was tasty and plentiful and the hotel staff were very friendly and helped with the usual out-of-town questions.
Review 36:The heating system was very loud and dusty!
Review 37:Staff was friendly and professional. Jack the hotel driver was exceptionally friendly, competent, and was always available to accommodate us!
Review 38:No negatives
Review 39:Booked last minute and got a great rate for New Year's Eve. Had past this hotel numerous times and hadn't thought much of it. Found it to be way beyond our expectations. Really nice large comfortable rooms with nice sitting area, comfortable bed, great shower, refrigerator, etc. Hotel staff was very friendly
Review 40:The breakfast food was bad. Everyday the oatmeal was cold and runny, bad donuts, and the eggs were strange. And with the minima soap/shampoo....It felt like they were trying to cut corners.
Review 41:The rooms were comfortable and the staff were nice.
Review 42:Rooms are too hot at night. Guests should be able to turn the thermostat below 68 degrees. It got way too hot and stuffy in the room.
Review 43:Krista at the front desk is awesome! Rooms are nice. Bed is great, we bought one! Location is perfect...
Review 44:It was all good once we realized the room was supposed to be like that. Also there was a,mixup with the shuttle service but the one girl on at night cleared it up. We had to take a cab from the casino because the shuttle never came.
Review 45:We were, surprised,to see that our friend booked,a handicap suite. We taught the hotel was robbed and when we asked the front desk they didn't know anything about it.
Review 46:Bed was too soft. Both of us had back aches from sleeping on the bed. The WiFi signal was not goo in the room.
Review 47:Great location. Walking distance to Main street, restaurants. Great breakfasts. Great staff.
Review 48:We have stayed in several Hyatt Place locations and have been happy with all of them and like getting points . We also enjoy our Hyatt time share greatly. Staff is friendly, breakfast great and room spacious.
Review 49:Room could have been cleaner. The person that designed the shower has clearly never actually showered. The breakfast area was a chaotic mess, very poorly organized.
Review 50:Nice size rooms. Friendly staff. Free parking.
Review 51:Parking is across the street and seems to be a public parking garage and bus stop so there was an interesting crowd waiting around the entrance and exit. We returned late and it was pretty empty though.
Review 52:The location was good since we attended an event at the casino so the hotel was close and much more reasonable than casino hotel prices. Very comfortable and clean. Modern. Great little breakfast in the morning.
Review 53:There is an extremely RUDE front desk agent working here. Don't expect to get any of the 24/7 room service they offer or even get something from the cafe.
Review 54:This was not a 3 star hotel is not worth the price. I would give it a 2.5 at most. However, I guess for the area it is considered high end.
Review 55:The room was fairly spacious. The shuttle driver was outstanding.
Review 56:Front desk clerk also preparing food ( after 11 PM). People waiting to check in & people waiting for food. Person only able to be in one place at a time. Not fair to employee or customers.
Review 57:For such a nice hotel, you'd think they could put soft toilet paper in the bathrooms instead of the coarse stuff you find in public restrooms. And how much would shower caps cost? The fact that you supply hair conditioners (much appreciated) shows that you know women stay in your hotel. So spending a penny to supply shower caps is certainly do-able. C'mon, this is a Hyatt...
Review 58:The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom amenities included hair conditioner. Great location.
Review 59:Okay, so this IS sorta looking a gift horse in the mouth, but: On Sunday morning, it took the kitchen staff more than 15 minutes to replenish the (free) omelette/eggs, while people waited 20-30 deep in line. Apparently, there was only one skillet available to use to serve and then cook with. REALLY?? Who knew that people might want eggs for breakfast? I waited (first in line), and ultimately it WAS worth the wait -- this time.
Review 60:The physical structure is clean and efficient, the staff is very professional and accomodating. The location is perfect. Oh, and the rooms are immense!
Review 61:1. A/C right next to the bed -- loud and freezing. question was to leave it on all night and freeze and not sleep because of the noise, or turn it off and hope for night cooling. 2. Had to try 3 times to get a coffee maker that worked... Should be tested every cleaning trip. 3. Bathroom light bulb took forever to turn on.. compact fluorescent. 4. Breakfast was tired. Stale bagels, dried out scrambled eggs, watery oatmeal. 5. Parking lot is across the street in a public parking garage. Appeared perfectly safe, the hotel validated the parking (so no $), and nothing was stolen -- but I would have like to know that first.
Review 62:It was spacious. Employees were helpful and responsive. Free parking. Free breakfast. Coffee maker in the room. Good hot water in the shower
Review 63:Rooms was excellent and the staff was super. The shuttle drivers were also very helpful. Dropped us right off at a Restaurant after a movie. Would look for another one to stay at.
Review 64:somewhat confusing to get to from the parking lot- it's actually across the street, not attached.
Review 65:Spacious rooms, plenty of surface area, comfortable beds, large couch, good breakfast buffet
Review 66:Couldn't think of a thing.
Review 67:Very clean, updated hotel. Convenient to multiple restaurants and shops. For the price this was a grat value and we would stay here again.
Review 68:Breakfast was the same every day and the egg/muffins were horrible. There wasn't enough room for 2 people's suitcases. Also no guide that we could find on the TV. Hard to figure out programming info.
Review 69:Staff was very responsive and helpful. Beds were comfortable.
Review 70:No Negatives.
Review 71:Outstanding Staff are welcoming upbeat, knowledgeable and self assured. Impeccably Clean Room, Building & Grounds. Full Balanced Breakfast. Perfect Location for Bethleham Events.
Review 72:Wish the pool area was larger and there was a Jacuzzi.
Review 73:The size and space of room, along with comfortable beds
Review 74:The size of the room was small. There was no microwave.
Review 75:Location and cleanliness
Review 76:needed fan or noise maker for bathroom. decor was not fancy or of great quality.
Review 77:room design was nice, quiet, and comfy.
Review 78:Front desk could have better focus -
Review 79:Room was well situated for work and comfort. Business support.
