Reviews for Hotel Restaurant Bergheim
Review 1:Location is absolutely out of the way. Not at all convenient. Next to the road. Continuous Traffic sound & busses passing by.
Review 2:The mountain view from the room was good.
Review 3:The dinner and 1 litre water bottle were expensive. The waitress made us think that the salad was included in our's meal price but it wasn't so we had to pay extra for it. Moreover, I paid in Euro and realised after that she charged me more as the bill was in CHF and she didn't tell me to give her 6 Euro less then the price stated on the bill.
Review 4:We enjoyed magnificent views from our room. The room was very well cleaned. It was just 1 minute walk from the bus stop. We also enjoyed walking in the countryside and enjoying spectacular views of the mountains.
Review 5:The rooms are pretty basic. Beds are small singles with spring mattresses (very nice fluffy duvet). The shower was room temperature. Our room faced the road so maybe rooms on mountain side gain from the view
Review 6:The view is spectacular although pity the outdoor area has a screen around it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We were made feel very welcome.
Review 7:The room was located above the restaurant and bar, which was a little noisy around 2100. The sun beamed through the windows and the room was extremely warm in the waking hours.
Review 8:The location was ideal for our trip. We were just stopping for a night stay on our way back to Germany. The hotel is located about 25 minute drive from Switzerland's highest waterfall.
Review 9:The only thing missing was a comfortable lounge area to chill out in after a hard day skiing!
Review 10:The staff at the hotel made us feel very welcome and provided a great service and great food which they obviously take great pride in. They were very flexible and helpful.
Review 11:Rooms are basically decorated but this is reflected in the very good value prices by Swiss standards. So this is not really a criticism.
Review 12:The rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant serves excellent basic fare. The owners and staff are top class. The view certainly from rooms 1-4 is magnificent. Good value for money. Breakfasts quite ample but no hot food.
Review 13:Nothing special but all we needed for our familys two day visit. We were there during low season (end of June) with just a couple of other visitors, I think that on the second Morning we were the only ones at the breakfast.
Review 14:The hotel was pretty much empty, but we were put in a small room just under the roof in the middle of summer. The room would be fitting in a youth hostel, with its old fashioned furniture and worn out carpets. Like everything in Switzerland, quite overpriced.
Review 15:Very friendly staff. A great location. A little drive up the mountain and you can enjoy a terrific sunset with panoramic views. Cosy but limited breakfast, with a small buffet on the table.
Review 16:Location, Price
Review 17:Great value Breakfast ok Restaurant excellent Staff friendly
Review 18:Service was rude.
Review 19:Price
Review 20:Room was very small. Food was very expensive. Did not cater for English speakers. A double room cost the same as two singles.
Review 21:The staff were good. Wifi was good. Location to the ski area was good.
Review 22:No shops around, the nearest is in Tannenheim or in Flums. Buses stop operating at 7p.m.
Review 23:Very friendly and helpful owners. Great location, amazing view on the Alps, bus stop just beside the hotel entrance: 2 min to Tannenheim and 7min to Tannenboden (Flumserberg resort), 10 min to Flums bahnhof. Good European breakfast. Generally, I think great value for that small in Switzerland sum of money.
Review 24:Not exactly on the hiking path. Postbus every hour. It is just important to know it. The website should have a page with this sort of information.
Review 25:The location with view on the alps. Especially at evening. The relatively low price. The really kind and friendly staff.
Review 26:Very basic breakfast, sometimes not enough bread, we had impression thatowners want to save on everything, even juice.Dryer for boots is too small. No real room for skis, short and poorly illuminated stairway with a few holding hooks is not a ski room In European terms I would rate this hotel as ** with a max price per night ca. 60 Euros
Review 27:Friendly staff
Review 28:Obviously it is not quite in the ski resort, but this reflected in the price.
Review 29:Very helpful staff. Good breakfast. Half board also very good, Wi-fi. Ski bus stops right outside and only 10 minutes to the ski lifts. Rooms basic but comfortable, Very good value for Switzerland. Only a 75 minute taxi ride from Zurich airport.
Review 30:Because of the hotel's location one cannot stay on the slopes or in the areas of Tannenheim & Tannenboden (the main skiing hubs) as late as one wishes, as public transport options are extremely limited. There isn't a problem, of course, if one has a car.
Review 31:Cozy, family athmosphere. The family who run the hotel are very hard working and welcoming.
Review 32:The location is perfect for hiking and winter activities. Absolutely a beautiful area! The food at the hotel was amazing! I highly recommend this hotel!
Review 33:The games room downstairs needs a facelift
Review 34:The hotel was perfect for a one night stay and the complimentary tickets to the swimming pool are a bonus
Review 35:nothing
Review 36:Everything...a perfect get away. Silvia&Dieter (owners) are perfect hosts.
Review 37:Expensive, basic.
Review 38:The view, the fresh air.
Review 39:Transport is conveniently on the doorstep of the hostel
