Reviews for Ramada Resort Akbuk

Review 1:my room H block, very noisy, right by the stage, constant noise, had to keep walking past table tennis table to my room, wi fi rubbish

Review 2:hotel, facilities, food very good

Review 3:The service is very bad the rooms are dirty and the staff were not friendly. There is obvious shortage in the staff as you have to serve yourself in the restaurants. The cleaning of the rooms is bad. The beach is not for swimming and not interesting. In general a cattle market

Review 4:The meals are generous and the entertainment is also good Nice view

Review 5:Nothing

Review 6:Great hotel with great staff who cannot do enough for you. Made our holiday extra special by doing special things for our anniversary. Hotel is very modern and fantastic 24 hour all inclusive

Review 7:The pools are lovely, both at the beach and the hotel. The waterslides are good fun, and there are plenty of activities available to keep people entertained.

Review 8:Maybe too many children for us as we are a retired couple, therefore too much influence on entertainment for them, but never the less, we did enjoy it.

Review 9:Really relaxing, good food and all inclusive drinks.

Review 10:The meal at the beach restaurant because you pay for drinks. During the day, the same drinks are included.

Review 11:Fabulous pool area, also the private beach and another pool with slides.

Review 12:not so much didn't like but the dinner buffet lacked meat dishes otherwise fine

Review 13:rooms were 5 star, pool snack bar was very good nice mix of foods staff great very attentative

Review 14:Staff of SPA and shops which are near to swimming pool we're all the time disturbing people with them suggestions. And fresh juice what they make at breakfast with 3 lira is not acceptable for resort( they can make it free because anyway fruits are available on tab lo we)

Review 15:We like restaurant, swimming pool, activities and all staff is polite and nice.

Review 16:it was so nice we booked in for second night .the meals had great choice my turkish husband loved all the turkish foods . and we all had lots of choices the staff were great too. akbuk in a nice friendly resort lots to see and do .hope to get back very soon.

Review 17:Not a lot of things to do for young adults. Young children catered for very well. Entertainment ok, finished early.

Review 18:Excellent hotel, staff very friendly at the bar, reception and at the beach, especially Beach Ali. Food excellent, very comfortable hotel.

Review 19:On arrival for check in, which was 2pm. we were told there would be a short delay. This lasted for 1 hour and 40 minutes. When we eventually got checked in, without any form of apology, no escort was available so we made our own way with our baggage to our room in D Block. I work in a prison so felt at home with the name. The room was nice and seemed clean but there were no cups, coffee, fresh water, dressing gowns and then we found a stained sheet on one of the beds. At meal time, we stood for a long time looking for a table to be cleared of dirty plates so we could sit. Eventually we caught the attention of a member of staff who simply pushed dirty plates onto the next table and turned over a filthy table cloth and said "there". Suffice it to say it did not get any better. Avoid, unless you like to trough with the rest of the farm animals.

Review 20:The view of Akbuk.

Review 21:Room cleaned once in week restarant after half hour filthy tables no cutlery clear tables yourself if you want to eat , only one bar person serving no waiters run out of glasses this hotel is min 50% under staffed staff they do have require training staff on reception haven't got a clue what their doing

Review 22:Excellent layout fabulous pool great rooms excellent food

Review 23:Didn't like anything ! Cattle market, no organisation tables were filthy breakfast lunch and dinner time , very few staff, staff were unpleasant and unhelpful ! Rooms were also unclean bathroom sink was brown ! No towels ! And floors dirty when checking out check your bill !!! All inclusive room booked and we were charged extras that we didn't/ couldn't even get ! Rate was different to what online booking.com had quoted by £30 !! When I asked staff about it he shrugged his shoulders and put payment through anyway I then complained more and only then did they refund back 115tl ! No apology ! No nothing not a hotel recommended for the British as they certainly do not cater for anyone other than the Turkish clients do not be fooled by the name it's really not what you would think don't waste your money !

Review 24:We are a couple aged 37 and 40, with no kids. Although we were only there for a short period of time, the entertainment staff did not acknowledge us. The bar and reception staff were professional, but we did not find the atmosphere to be relaxing. We had planned to stay for a longer period of time later in the summer, but have cancelled our stay, as unfortunately, this is not the place for us. The room was small, and the bathroom was tiny. It was difficult to squeeze into the shower because the shower was tiny, too small for the door to close when someone of a slightly larger size tries to use it. The lobby bar had the feel of being in a business lounge at an airport. We arranged our airport transfer with the hotel. The driver was late meeting us at the airport. We drove out of the airport, only to turn around and be driven off the highway under the road through a dark underpass with no explanation. We returned to the airport and were told to wait in the car. We saw the driver take a name card to help him locate another family, he spoke to the family and left them standing at the airport. He returned to the car and drove us into the mountains. Somewhere on the mountain road we were told to get out of the car and get into a different car. We did eventually get to the hotel, but it was not the level of service we had expected after paying 150 Turkish Lira (approximately £40) for a private transfer arranged through the hotel. We used a different transfer service for our return journey and we extremely happy with the service we received.

Review 25:The buffet seemed plentiful, with a reasonable variety of food available. We only stayed for two nights, so we only used the evening buffet once and the breakfast buffet twice. The breakfast buffet seemed better on the first day. The hotel is new and has great potential, especially for people who like to stay in a self-contained all-inclusive setting. It is slightly removed from the town, so is a bit of a trek if you like to explore the local area.

Review 26:Wifi access was turned off in the rooms at times. Driving to this resort at night is challenging because there isn't a well lit main road that takes you there and signage isn't there to help you except for the very end where there was one sign pointing up the hill.

Review 27:Very Clean, Rooms were very nicely Designed. Good layout of facilities. Food was good. Parking security checked every time I drove in. Staff were very nice.

Review 28:Comfortable bed, plenty of sunbeds available. Good atmosphere, friendly, attentive staff. Definitely plan to return to this hotel.

Review 37:Wi-fi. Sea is not good for swimming.

Review 38:Food is delicious . Personel is so kind and helpful. Seawiev of restaurant.

Review 39:Clean Super pool

Review 40:No info given ref rest/bar times (at rec/room) No literature reffacilities. Food very Turkish (but it is Turkey) Not enough staff tocope with clearing and setting up tables. Not enough shade on restaurantterrace. Poor entertainment -bingo, sing along!!!. Litter and tablecleaning needs improvement. Room service came 1 hour before check-out asif to hurry you up.Some staff appear to "not want to be there"but others more than helpful.

Review 41:Rooms well appointed but little small. Could have made more use ofbalcony space. Beds very comfortable. Nice surroundings / wellfinished.Good sized pools. Bit out of town but good shuttle service.

Review 42:very friendly kind staff and administration delicious food thanks to the chef very clean and comfortable rooms location is just perfect (nearby forest and wonderful seaview) shuttle is always ready to take you seaside( takes 3 minutes)
