Review 1：Slight smell coming from the drains in the bathroom - probably to do with the plumbing.

Review 2：- Personally, location is excellent as it is within walking distance of where my parents live. - I asked for a kettle, which is not provided as standard in the hotel, and they provided it - along with a cup and spoon - Staff very helpful and friendly - Decent three star hotel & I will stay there again (already booked)

Review 3：The staff was rude, the room was like a small little closet. Everything was old and too used. The wifi only worked at the reception. The breakfast was really untasty. We have spent a night in a two star pension the day before we came here, but it was much better than this. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, other guests were also complaning when we were there.

Review 5：Based on the current 6.7 score, I expected a lot worse. But, it is much better. The room is clean and with enough space. Swift check in&out. the bed is comfort, I had a really good sleep.

Review 6：The beds were not very comfortable but otherwise we enjoyed the hotel with free parking, WIFI, free breakfast, good restaurant and great staff. The old city was a disappointment, mostly now an industrial port, the charm of what you would expect in an old city, i.e., Dobrovnic, is gone. But we were there on a cold Jan 2015 day and most shops closed at noon on the weekend so we did not see much of interest.

Review 7：Staff was excellent! Spoke English, German, Italian, etc. Good food in the restaurant with a nice fire place. Our Jan 2015 stay was good but most outdoor restaurants were closed, must be fantastic in the summer because they were everywhere (but closed). Just down the street was the EMONEC Brewery with excellent food and drink prices so we ate there for dinner one night and in the hotel one night. A short drive away is the VINAKOPER where you can buy and taste wine. ALDI and LIDL were close too. Several malls in the area too. All the locals we chatted with spoke English. Nice weekend escape from Vicenza, Italy.

They probably would have been fine on the road but its nice to have them secure. We had a lovely greeting and was given an introduction to the area things to see and do. A very enjoyable stay.

Review 36：I received a room (double) which didn't match my reservation (twin). The room was dark. The whole hotel - not only our room - is in the middle of enlargment activities, I don't like to live in a self finished apartment, in the middle of a building place. After notification I had to replace the bedside bulbs myself.

Review 38：Hotel Bio was only a brief stopover for us on a trip round Europe but it was exactly what we wanted: easy to find, v helpful staff, excellent food & comfortable rooms.

Review 51：There was a terrible smell in the hallway where the stairs are, ourcurtains in the room only covered half of the window letting light intothe room early in the morning, the balcony was covered in ash on thefloor and on the table cloth, the bathroom had a shower but nowhere tohang the shower head and no shower curtain, the tap on the sink squirtedwater in all directions and one of our towels was dirty, breakfast was adisappointment as the milk and yoghurt was warm and the apple juice wasblackcurrant dilute. The hotel is located on a side street just off amain road near a petrol station not "situated among fields andvineyards, overlooking Koper Bay" as stated on booking.com!!!

Review 53：There was a bit of a drain smell in the bathrooms and the sanitary ware was really old and needed replacing, as were the hotel towels - but it was all very clean and very spacious and we would happily stay there again.

Review 54：Lovely food, fantastic restaurant, very friendly staff. Loved the hotel's 'old glamour' leftovers, and it had a certain style. Rooms were very spacious, they were happy for us to have our dog with us in the room and the outdoor restaurant - and there was no extra charge. Spacious well equipped rooms with air co, a great plus in the 30+ deg heat Suited us perfectly to accommodate a family of 5 (3 teens!) plus a dog.

Review 55：Some parts of the hotel were really smelly, not sure if it came from the kitchen but I was very happy that my room was NOT in that part of the hotel. The hotel is within the town of Koper, big streets, shopping centers, and a gas station are behing the hotel.

Review 56：My room was small and simple but reasonably clean and had a nice balcony; air condition and WLAN (up to 5 MBS download) worked perfectly fine. Breakfast was really good: fried eggs, bacon, sausages, cheeses, joghurts, fruits, reasonable coffee. The front area of the hotel is quite nice: trees, little gardens, flowers, little traffic.

Review 57：Restaurant was excellent. Hotel is in a great location once you find it.City directions are not in prominent place. Suggest a sign when youleave the highway. Once we found it, it was very easy to get aroundeverywhere.

Review 58：First, the Hotel is just near a Car wash/fuel station on the main road to the center (3km ) Into the room, the shower was outmoded and a bit dirty, the curtain didn't fit the all the window, Fridge, balcony promised on the website were ... not present. We were very surprised to find a wedding within the hotel : conclusion too much sound to sleep. None of the hotel crew mentioned that. If you need an hotel, don't choose this one even for one night!!!!

Review 60：Hotel not as described on website - more "outer ugly suburban" than"set among fields and vineyards"!! And we could not see any view ofKoper Bay in evidence! Breakfast a bit lacking (not very goodselection, not very good quality). Crumb foam pillows. Towels very verythin and possible starched. Perhaps a bit casual re security - we gotback to hotel after dark on Sunday night to find the hotel in darknesswith a note on the front door to say the side door was unlocked and ourkey was in our room. Fortunately no-one had taken advantage of thisinvitation to just walk in!
