Review 1：Nothing it was all great.
Review 2：The villas are located next to the beach which was very quiet. The pool was a great asset and never too busy. The staff were always polite and accommodating, the food was great and cheap. Far enough away from Ao Nan that it was not too busy but not too far that if you wanted to go into town you could.
Review 3：Outside the villa, there's particularly nothing - dark and quiet street with no restaurants or shops. The main Ao Nang beach is about 10 km away if you want some shopping and entertainment. If you are taking a taxi, make sure you carry the hotel's business card with you because most taxi drivers have not clue on the villa's location.
Review 4：Private and secluded beach, thus if you want a quiet and peaceful get-away this is it. The lady owner is very friendly and helpful (yes, she speaks fluent English!) in answering questions and booking tours. The staff is very efficient and friendly too.

Review 11：Not really the fault of the staff, but we saw the biggest spider we've ever seen in our room as we were leaving. Also, the location is a bit far from Ao Nang beach. There is a free shuttle service, but it stops at 6 PM, so a taxi/tuk tuk back will be a few hundred baht.
Review 12：Nice facilities, patio in front, pool. Staff was excellent and friendly. They accommodated us for early check-in and even helped us move from a nearby villa by providing transpo. They also provided us sandwiches instead of breakfast as we had to check out early for our flight.
Review 13：Only dip for us was that despite being on the sea front, the sea water was a bit dirty so it is not good for swimming. But u can blame the hotel for that.
Review 14：Just about everything. This was the last stop on our Thai tour and it was meant to be just for relaxing, which it was great for. It is a bit out the way and you can take a boat to the amazing expensive hotel just round the cliff with the cave restaurant. Staff really nice and food was great. Pool was lush. All good.
Review 15：found the breakfast very limited, stayed 5 nights and I was sick of the breakfast by the end of it. You get 4 options but for a big healthy man like myself there wasn't enough in any of them! Option 1 was the only one that came close to filling me, hence the reason I had to pick it 5 mornings in a row, the others were just too small. Only complaint I have though!

Review 18：The place is 5KM to AoNang beach, but it's very quiet and easy to Railay beach by boat. The view is very good, just front from the beach, very lovely hotel. hotel provides one way bus to AoNang, twice time a day: 11:00 and 18:00. if you have dinner in hotel, also a good choice I do come back here next time.
Review 19：I chose this establishment because of the revues I'd read - "friendly, helpful, family and also food is great"! The waiter serving breakfast couldn't speak English or understand us at all! When the proprietor came to help , she scowled at us. I felt uncomfortable and as though she were doing me a favour. Everything I asked about came at a price and was felt as though it was beyond her duty. We had dinner there one night and it was the worst food I ate in my 21 days in Thailand. Meat was hard, portions were small, flavourless and colourless. It looks as though this property is on the market and this is maybe not a bad thing. This is a place I would never recommend to anyone.

Review 22：Amazing place, away from the hectic Ao Nang but still very easy to get to places (either by boat from Ao Nam Mao or transfer to Ao Nang). Great staff; the manager arranged a lot of discounts for us for the excursions. The local cooking course was excellent too.
Review 23：Near to the sea. Very relaxing. We stayed there for three nights and we liked it very much. If you are looking for tourismus/action you have to stay at Ao Nang. We almost had the pool all for us alone. Very friendly staff.
Review 24：-It is not that convenient if you would like to go to Ao Nang. However, you can lend motorbikes with 200 Bath/day and the hotel offers free ride to Ao Nang twice a day. (No pick up from Ao Nang to the hotel though.) Actually it was not that inconvenient for me as I was picked up by a diving shop staff every morning to Ao Nang and came back to the hotel by public buses (white vans: 40-50Bath/one way). The buses operate till 9 or 10 pm.
Review 25：-All staffs are so friendly, attentive and proactive. One night, when I was about to go to 7/11, they were so worried my safety in dark and offered to take me to the shop. The breakfast time starts at 7:30am, but one morning, I had to leave the hotel at 7am. They prepared a breakfast box for me and even offered to do so for the next day before asking them. -The hotel is located just in front of a beach. Very quiet and as like a private beach! -The room is very clean and well maintained. They made my trip very pleasant and enjoyable. Definitely it's worth to stay for your holiday!!!!
Review 26：This was our second stay at Rimlay Villas and will certainly not be the last. Staff is very helpfull , beautifull garden with fantastic pool . Excellent wifi.
Review 27：The only thing like pretty much everywhere ive stayed in Thailand the beds are very hard. If you like a hard bed though you'll love it.
Review 28：The welcome was great and our bungalow was good size and lovely. We had some lunch there the 1st day the portions were quite small but the food was very good. The provide a free taxi service in to Ao Nang, be aware though that is only at set times of the day. We didn't realise this the 1st night. Tacos out of Ao Nang to Rimlay will charge you anything from £150 to £400 so make sure you don't get ripped off.

Review 30：Amazing , helpful, smiley staff, including the owner who is always prompt to help you and advise you for whatever you need. Her personal touch makes you fee at your own place. Breakfast is included and it starts at 8am, but if u have to leave the hotel earlier than that , for any reason, they are always so flexible , letting you come around 7:40 for ur breakfast. Rooms are simple but really nice, with ur own balcony n good view. Towels are changed everyday and room also cleaned n tidied. I was extremely satisfied with the service provided by them. Tours can be booked from the hotel and are even cheaper than the ones advertised in the city. They also provide a free shuttle to Ao Nang beach twice a day , where you can find plenty of restaurants and bars. I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. Splendid

Review 39：Location is quite far from Krabi and Ao Nang beach but the provide scheduled transzportation two times/day (11:00 and 18:00). The hotel has a restaurant where the portion and the price were ok, and if you want they can make some cocktail for you. The hotel staff was friendly, the can speak English and organised everything what we want. The bungallow was well equipted, the wifi was fast and worked properly. The view from the shore of the hotel is splendid but you cannot swimm there because there is swamp. If you are planning the early program (before the breakfast 08:00-10:30) they can prepare the packed breakfast for you

Review 41：The hot showers and lovely pool. The sea is great for swimming at high tide and the beach almost empty apart from the odd walker or group of horses from the local riding stables.

Review 44：The bed was very firm but that seems to be the same thing common thing with alot of the hotels and villa in Krabi. A little distance to go into Aonang. However, you really don't want to be going to Aonang everynight. If you do, then stay in Aonang. It more expensive, and noisier. Wish we could have neighbours who aren't smokers sharing our patio.
Review 45：Oceanview. Quiet peaceful location. Away from noisy Aonang Beach. Which is mostly good. Owner was very generous by loaning us their bicycle to take short bike ride (3-5mins) to 7/11 or Family mart to get stuff. Walking distance of about 10 mins to other resaurants and road side food stalls. Staff and owner were absolutely great and provided amazing service. Place was very clean. Food at the restaurant was very good with enough variety. Laundry service provided at a very good price. Clothing came back, pressed and folded beautifully. There are two free shuttle to Aonang everyday, and you can pay to have them take you out at other times.

Review 60：We originally had 1 night booked but stayed for 4. The hotel is great. Room and facilities are excellent and all just a stone throw away from the ocean which you can always hear. Pool is a nice size and the location of it is superb situated beside the sea and gorgeous flora where you can see eagles sore above. Breakfast was very good and lunch was excellent all provided by brilliant friendly staff. The hotel is about 5 min drive to ao nang and hotel drops guests into the centre free of charge at 6 every evening. All in all this was a superb stay with great staff, superb wifi, excellent facilities and food. Highly recommend it

Review 62：The bugalows are very close to an almost empty beach. It is not really possible to swim but for a long walk it is fine. There are a few good restaurants and groceries quite close and the prices are mostly half of what you pay the much much more touristy Ao Nang beach. The hotel itself is really nice with friendly staff and good breakfast. As we were here during low season there was no noise at all. But what others have written is quite likely true if you have a noisy neighbour in your bungalow then you hear everything. WLAN was fine too and working in the bungalow.

Bungalows are fresh clean and modern all facing the sea and swimming pool Infront x the food is simple but really really tasty !! Especially the beef in oyster sauce and the breakfast pancakes yummmmm ; ) away from town in a quiet bay but there are 2 shuttles into ao nang town where the resteraunts/bars and beach are at 11am and 6pm which are free provided by the resort it's only a 15min drive, there are no shuttles back but plenty of taxi/tuk Tuks for 100 baht each (£2) x can also get taxi boat for same price to railay beach which is amaizing and only 2 mins round the corner x the shower is the 1st one that actually is clean/works and is height adjustable we've used in our 6 weeks in Thailand x we stayed 7 days but would of stayed longer if our visas weren't about to run out x fantastic place x

Review 69：Thank you Alissa and Bruce for your most amazing hospitality. We originally went for 2 nights but stayed much, much longer as, for us, Rimlay Villas is our perfect holiday haven. The staff are all absolutely delightful and so keen to make everyone's stay a wonderful experience. Tawan, Nori, Joe, Jum and everyone else thank you! The rooms are spotlessly clean and the beds comfy. We found the menu to be extensive and the food was superbly cooked. We only ate Thai food because we loved it but other options are available. The location and views over the Andaman sea are stunning......sitting by the pool with a sea breeze and interesting vista was pure relaxation! We will definitely be returning! Thank you for an amazing stay!

Review 104：Being first time to the Thai Coast , we were pleased to find that when we got there that our villas were not in the Au Nang area. It was a close choice as none of the reviewers mentioned how tacky Au Nang is. We found Krabi town to be nicer for a visit .Rimlay is far enough away to be very peacefull and close enough to Au Nang ,should you need a change in restaurant etc. The hotel provides free transport twice a day which is a bonus.Along the beach in one direction you have a hippy bar which is great for Sundowners , while there is a nice restaurant ,Jasmin Rice , just along the road in the direction of the Pier. Having said that , the hotel cook is very good.
Review 105：The description on booking.com could be better. There are Family Mart and convenience stores within 5/10 minutes walk. The beach in front of the villa is stony but you can take a boat ( 80 Baht/person) to the best beaches ofKrabi for swimming. Aaonag and Thara beaches are too dirty most of the time so nearness to them is of no use. We stayed 3 days at Rimlay and three days at Timber House, Aaonang-we wish we stayed all six days at Rimlay Villas. Will surely come back to Rimlay.
Review 106：The clean,quiet place, the fantastic view of the sea right from our bed through the large french window, across the swimming pool. The nearness to the boat pier for Railey Beach-Phranang Cave and other places. The friendly staff, the daily shuttle, the well prepared food.

Review 109：There is nothing near the villa by foot, not even a convenient store. You can either ride a bicycle/scooter or take a tuk tuk which cost 150THB to Ao Nang. This villa is not meant for late sleepers. We got back at about 12mn and the main gate was shut, and we almost couldn't get in until we found the latch/lock on the inside of the gate to let ourselves in.

We knew that the beach wasn't great for swimming, but it was possible at high tide. The view from the property was excellent at high tide too. The location was midway between Krabi town & Ao Nang. It was very peaceful sitting around the pool area, mainly because most people go out for the day, looking for that quiet place! Rimlay Villas is efficiently run & the staff are friendly & competent. Food could be ordered at the restaurant & it was delivered to our bungalow to eat on the patio. What service! There was a choice of 6 different breakfasts with generous coffee refills included in the price.
Review 113：As the villas are just in front of the see,if you want to swim there it is not a good idea because the water is muddy.But that's not really a problem because there are boat trips to the nearby islands every day and they take you from the hotel by car to the boats.
Review 114：Everything was brilliant- the view(as we were staying in one of the villas just in front of the pool), the food, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was really delicious and was not expensive comparing it to that in Aonang's restaurants. The are is not so crowded ,Aonang is about 6km away but there is free shuttle twice a day from the hotel and also you can borrow a motorbike for the whole day from the hotel for about 300 bahts. This was one of the most clean hotels I have ever been,they were changing our towels every day. For us this was the perfect place to stay during our visit in Krabi!

Review 123：The construction of the cottages is a bit flimsy, so you could hear the people in the next room unless they were discreet. Luckily, our neighbors were a quiet couple, so no problems on that front.

We spend the last 2 nights of our stay in Krabi there, so it was a perfect end at a nice, quiet place which is away from the main town. We had rented a scooter which made it easy for us to commute between Ao Nang and the Hotel. The staff was really nice and woke up early to make breakfast for us on the day we had our flight.
Review 125：Was not really a problem for us, but have to warn - the beach near the hotel is not too good for swimming. Trip to/from Ao Nang is 150-200 baht (however hotel provided 2 free one way shuttles to Ao Nang per day at 11:00 and 18:00).
Review 126：Very helpful staff (made breakfast earlier when we needed), beautiful garden, nice swimming pool, very calm place. If you plan a day trip to Railey, no need to go to Ao Nang - boats leave from the pier 300m from the hotel. Lunch/dinner in the hotel tasty and not expensive.
