Review 1：The shower was weird with the hot and cold water coming out so that it wasnt comfortable
Review 2：I missed the boat to Ilha Grande on the evening, so I decided to stay in Angra for the night. I found this new hostel at booking.com, it was one of the cheapest. The staff were really friendly and spoke good english. They pointed me to a good sushi restaurant near the hostel and took mee by their own car to the ferry in the morning! Cant expect better service! :) Also the location was really good next to the bus terminal.
Review 3：Well, I can do a list, since the owner told me he appreciates that alot, as tips for improvements :) First, the staff and friends smoke alot in there, so the smell will reach and stay in the bedrooms for hoursafter everybody go to bed. Since I don't smoke, I think that'svery unpleasant The room where we slept has a glass window without anycurtains, which means pretty early in the morning you'll be wakingup with the daylight (during summertime it might be hot as hell also).Also, they have a sort of nightclub nearby so the music can be very louduntil late at night (maybe around 4am), so you can't really restthat much, as you'll be waking up early. The upstairs toilet sinkwas clogged and it was filled with dirty water when we arrived and werestill like that when we left. The bed linen wasn't that clean butnot that dirty either (at least they provide it, since it's a hosteland some won't do that). The space between the lower and upper bedis small, so it's kind of impossible to sit comfortably on the lowerbed. There is no lockers or anything like that and also obviously youcan't lock the room. They lack of more places to hang clothes andtowels. And the credit card machine wasn't working.
Review 4：The staff is very attentive, friendly and kind, they will welcome youand make you feel at home, give you tips and be very helpful. The ownerspeaks an average English and they have a guy in there who speaksspanish. The breakfast in humble but we could see they made an effort toplease us. They served fresh rolls (bread) with ham and cheese, milk,coffee, tea, some fruits and a delicious yogurt mixed with fruits :d Ihad to make a few modifications in my booking and they did it withoutany trouble at all :) and no extra fees either, very honest
