Review 1：Upon checkin room was very cold ,turned up the heat more and hour and half later was still cold, we were switched to different room and all was fine.

Review 3：I did notice a musty smell when we walked into our room. Not sure if it was from the heater or some other source. Also, a few days after I checked out, I noticed that $99 was charged to my card and not the $67.50 + $7.09 for taxes, which equals $74.59. I called the hotel and talked to an employee who got his manager, which was fine. However, I had a hard time understanding him as he has a heavy accent. The employee had to talk for him. The manager did get back on the phone and I think he said my card will be refunded the difference between the 2 amounts. This could of just been a mistake. It would not keep me from coming back.
Review 4：The location was close to where we wanted to be. Could walk to a bar, restaurant, the mall or even a movie theater. The room was clean and spacious. The price was very reasonable on booking.com.
Review 5：We didn't like that the bathtub drain didn't drain-ankle deep water. Electrical outlet didn't work by the sink.

Review 13：The wifi didn't work on my phone, so I couldn't check the weather report for winter conditions. I don't like when the lavatory area is outside the bathroom, so that you wake people up when you are up washing your hands or taking meds in the middle of the night.

Review 30：First off, the staff that greeted us upon arrival had very poor hygiene. The hotel inside to greet us was very motel style. We would not consider this a hotel. Our room was very dated and missing essentials such as a wastebasket. One of our lamps were out and the walls in the washroom were stained with dirt. The carpet looked dirty and the room itself did not give a comforting feeling. The general feeling of dirty radiated throughout the room to the point that we were very paranoid about bed bugs if any.

Review 40：Our room temp was in the 50s, took over three hours to warm up (I slept with my coat on) in the morning I noticed black hair behind the bathroom door. We were in room 115 which is maybe 6 rooms away from the front desk. We walked down to check out, took maybe 5 min but on our way back to the car we walked pasted our room and the bed was completely made (I didn't see any dirty sheets)!! Maybe they ate super fast?!? The breakfast are was a complete mess, trash over flowing, food on the floor and dirty tables.

Review 46：We are moving back to the Fargo area and were staying at the red river lodge for a week so we could get our apt squared away. The staff was really nice and professional and my kids and I loved the breakfast. The beds were super comfy.
Review 47：The hotel felt unclean, not safe, and just overall dingy. It's winter.. The heat in our room was turned off.. So we cranked it up.. And by the time we left the next morning the heat still was barely coming through. The continental breakfast was poor. Stale food, poor setup.. Just over all sad. We watched guests throw out their food and walk across the lot to McDonalds. I'm still trying to figure out how everyone rated this hotel a 7.1.. I booked the hotel based off if them... I would never stay there again.

But having our own climate controls was a plus and breakfast was surprisingly varied and delicious. Good value for the price, we enjoyed our stay. Close to major shipping centres and lots of restaurants a few blocks away.

Review 56：I think the building needs a renovation, although it was clean, it still felt dingy and there was a definite odor in the room that was hard to get past. If you are looking for a cheap place to just sleep, it is ok.
Review 57：The cot we reserved was not in the room upon arrival. Once we received it, the cot smelt musty and was not very clean or comfortable. The bathroom door didn't close or lock since the mechanism in the door knob was missing. Lots of noise outside the building at night. Wouldn't stay there again.

The food was fine but they were out of plates, orange and apple juice, and it took a long time for someone to restock these items after being asked.

The outside door leading to one wing of the hotel has a keycard access but was often unlocked and didn't require the key - would have preferred needing the key to enter. The wifi was intermittent or hard to find the signal (needed to be in the right spot) but it was very quick once you did connect.
Review 71：Only stayed overnight on our way home. Location wise, it was a 2-minute drive to get to West Acres mall. Free breakfast, including a waffle maker in the lounge. It was right next to several restaurants and also a McDonald's right across the parking lot for a snack run if needed. Strong air conditioner in the rooms and comfortable beds. Very helpful and polite staff. There is a restaurant/lounge onsite.
Review 72：When we first got there, witnessed employee rude to customer on the phone. Got to our room, it smelt like an old ashtray and was so tiny. Shower had green sticky old soap in the shower. Wished we would have booked elsewhere. They did do something to the room to cover the smell after we told them about it but still woke up with a sore stuffed up throat . And we didn't notice the other issues until morning when we were to use the bathroom shower. :/
Review 73：When I called to inform them of my late check in, the front desk was rude. I know it was busy that weekend with wrestling tourney at the Fargodome but that shouldn't be an excuse. As I entered the room, it smelt like someone took a dump! It did go away after a day. Other than that, it was fine.
Review 74：It was clean and the staff was accommodating. The room was cozy for the price I paid. If I needed anything their staff was at my door within minutes. It's close to shopping, restaurants, and gas stations. The check out guy was very very nice. I had a good stay.
