Review 1：My room had no iron and no tea/coffee making facilities yet my colleague had both of these. We paid the same price for both rooms. I did comment on my last night and they were obliging to bring a kettle etc. to my room. there is an ironing facility between the two toilets in the basement.

Review 2：We stayed here because we were exhibiting in the Scandic Forum so it was perfect for that. Rooftop bar had great views of the Stavanger and the surrounding area. It was good for a business trip but I wouldn't stay there for a weekend break. Taxis are expensive to get into the centre.

Review 3：About 30min walking distance to town. But it is a nice walk!

Review 7：I had a very comfortable cozy bed and the radiant heated tiles in the bathroom felt great on my feet. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with lots to choose from and healthy. Also had dinner there a couple of times and it was excellent.

Review 10：Now, it's not so great any more unfortunatly. The room we had was OK at most. Nothing fancy, small and boring. There was no soap in the body gel or shampoo when i needed it for my shower. No soap in the dispenser for washing your hands. When the staff was confronted with this, it didnt seem they really cared. No apology or anything. You pay quite a high price for a night at this hotel compare to what you get. Breakfast was something i was looking forward too since i remembered the good breakfast i had here a few years ago. This was also a disapointment. It was OK, nothing more, nothing less... If you want more for the same price, then look for other places near by

Review 11：The hotel is very central. If your lucky enough to get a room towards the more interesting parts of Stavanger it very nice if your on the higher floors. I stayed at this hotel a few years ago and it was really great.

Review 12：small desk, not many plugin place in the room, no central light shutoff button, cold in the room, outside elevator not heated, bar is always empty, service in restaurant is poorest in town.

Review 14：Very helpful staff. In the first room that we got the heating was not working properly, and when we approached the staff with a request for some extra blankets they upgraded us to a superior room without extra charge. We also enjoyed having breakfasts in the restaurant on 21st floor.

Review 18：The variety of the breakfast was really good: apart from the 'typical hotel breakfast' there was yoghurt, nuts, mueslis, dried fruits, fresh fruits, small baked things. Very nice

Review 25：Staff were great, put themselves out to serve us. The breakfast is amazing, so much choice and I loved the "morning dew" juice shots! The hotel is a short bus ride/walk from the town centre but the hotel had free bikes to use (as long as you got up early enough to book them out), brilliant for riding round the lakes before going into Stavanger

Review 27：Breakfast was amazing - buffet of both fried and continental breakfast - and is served on the 21st floor of the hotel giving you an amazing panoramic of Stavanger whilst you eat. All the staff were polite, fluent in English and very helpful with our inquiries about where to go hiking. Also, the hotel is very close to the airport - taxi ride cost ~£10 (beware - this is the second Rica Forum Hotel in Stavanger, not the one closest to the airport!)

Review 70：View Parking options was fairly priced and located compared to parking at other hotels in Stavanger. Location of the hotel is good but quite far away from the city.

Taxi's take a while toget to this hotel (at other hotels in Stavanger it's far quicker)and the hotel really needs to sort the road outside reception which is adisaster for traffic movement - no vehicles can get in our out quickly,no place to turn and, if there's ever more than three cars together,everything gets blocked.

Review 84：We particularly liked the 21st floor panoramic view of the Stavanger and beyond. We had dinner and breakfast there choosing opposite windows. The food was good, especially the buffet breakfast with many choices. We walked out from the city center enjoying the wooded trail and lake views. On our return to Stavanger center we followed another more direct route past lovely old estates. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Review 85：lack of an hotel's car parking: the one existing, even near, is public, without evident information about the parking is not free (so we learnt that white stripes dont mean free of charge). Conclusion: an hotel rather far from the towndown should/could have a private parking.
