Review 1：We went for our anniverssary and then were very thoughtful with a card and cake. Check in was smooth and quick. Room was clean and quiet. Facitilities were great. Staff were friendly. Great location to shopping and street stalls. Hotel can arrange taxis for no extra cost. Hotels look after bags if you have to check out and have a few hours before you flight again for no extra cost. The only reason I did not score 10 was because the pool was cold. Staff made the hotel experience memorable.

Review 2：Room service and Cafe - very expensive - no value for money. Reception area - staff should tell guests not to sit with their feet on the coffee tables - very unhygienic for those that order coffee and food from the café.

Review 6：Location is excellent. Very comfortable stay.the room was made very clean n neat.the staff was very friendly n helpful.we really appreciate their thoughfulness especially when travelling with a little kid.

Review 7：On our last night, there were some repairs being carried out from 10.00 pm until 3.00 am in the service room next to our room. The noise was incredible, so needless to say, we didn't get much sleep. After complaints to management, we were finally given another room to sleep in. However, the noise could still be heard. This was very unfortunate as we had to get up early the next morning to get our plane home. There was no explanation or warning from management as to why the disruption had to occur so late at night, disturbing all our sleep.

Review 13：Their was a bad smell in the bathroom early morning until it gets cleaned, we didnt know the reason of that smell and we hadnt reported it because we spent most of our times out of the hotel. You can hear your neiboughr's conversation clearly. Anyone in the lobby can tell you are using the toilet.

Review 15：Noticed a bit of dust in various areas of the room, but an overall clean room. Door buzzers are quite close together, and I often answered the door when the buzzer from the next room was pressed.

Review 17：Housekeeping was poor. The room was not cleaned when we returned to the room at 3.30pm. We have specifically asked that the room be cleaned when we came back to the hotel at noon as our elderly parents were with us and wish to have a rest in the afternoon. Our kettle did not work in the morning and we asked for it to be replaced but this was not acted upon until we complained again in the afternoon.

Review 22：The staff were extremely rude and I felt I was treated badly because of my race. I paid all the bills earlier and when I went to the taxi, I was called back for the reception to check if the bills had been paid. The receptionist and bell boy at the time were very rude to me. This is the first time I had such an experience in a hotel.

Review 24：Most friendly staff I came by was a waiter by the pool bar, his name is Kit. Approached us with a friendly smile and speaks very good English. Like his service very much & had good impression of him.

Review 25：I booked 2 rooms and requested connecting rooms but it seems like either they do not understand my request or do not have such a facilities in the hotel. They gave me 2 rooms besides each other and it is quite troublesome to get from 1 room to the other as we need to get out of the room and go into the next. It will be gd if they have the connecting door within the room itself so that we can get into the other room without opening the main door.

Review 84：Basins and shower drainage clogged. Shower screen door unhinged and couldn't close properly. Called maintenance but they fixed one thing at a time so I had to call them many times. They also mentioned that the shower screen door can't be fixed lol. I asked for a screw to fix it myself (it was a simple fix) but they never came back with a screw. Ended up with very wet toilets throughout stay. Lifts didn't work for the 10th floor during my stay and I had to tell them to fix it. Sack the maintenance guy ffs.

Review 87：We had an issue with our safe box, when we got back to our room the safe box was not working and the hotel didn't have the equipment to open it the same day, we had to wait until the next morning where the management still didn't have the equipment and sent someone to break it, my husband mobile and tab was in which was important to conduct some important business calls and reply to emails, and we eventually stayed with no safe for 2 nights

Review 102：A long walk to the skyrail / other transport. Hotel elevators are quite slow - didn't cope well during busy times. Took over 5min to get a lift from the lobby most times I tried. Hotel staff didn't control the unruly guests - at times it was like being inside a Bollywood movie set. Rooms fit out is a bit dated and tired, but quite functional.

Everything was great: the view from 30th floor and from the pool, the pool area, the room, customer service etc. The great surprise we weren’t expecting was the international buffet breakfast: we could make a tour around the world every morning!

Check in and out was very quick and efficient. Location is good and it is in middle of the town. It is about ten minutes walk to Central World shopping centre and train station. Breakfast buffet was very good with lots of varieties in every aspect; fruits and yogurts, bread, foods, my favourite cheese. Egg corner do not serve pork meat hence being a Muslim, I enjoyed omelette every morning. Pork meat is served in the buffet but clearly marked. I found coffee to be of good quality but being milk tea drinker, I would need stronger tea. Pls provide tea bags at tea corner.

Review 125：Their services & attitudes are not excellent anymore, did not meet my requirements. My family and I had came to Amari Watergate about 5 years back, at that time the staffs were very warm. They had given us very cozy feeling, gave us feel like Home. However, this trip has disappointed me, I've requested early check-in & late check-outs but invail. And they don't even informed u, until you asked them again & again. Rooms were not properly prearranged which we've stated in the bookings.
