Reviews for Bayplay Cottages & Accommodation

Review 1:Tree falling down, tennis court was terrible, and the spa. Most people would prefer spa in moring, not four oclock in the afternoon when the weather is at its hottest. The money I paid I expect a bit more.

Review 2:Sitting outside on decking,

Review 3:The whole apartment needed to be upgraded. The furniture was old and dirty. The bar-b-q had at least half and inch of old grease from previous tenants. The floors had holes in the cork vinyl. It smelled musty. The shower leaked. The windows needed cleaning. In all, it was not worth the excessive cost.

Review 4:The location was great. The front and back decks were ideal for catching the sun morning and night. The bar-b-q was very useful.

Review 5:The property is quite dated. Bedroom quilt covers need to be updated. Overhaul of furniture would greatly help.

Review 6:Quiet & peaceful location. Very nice neighbourhood. Staff was very helpful. The grounds are beautiful with many shady areas to enjoy. The cottage was very clean & maintenance good.

Review 7:I could see straight into the next cottage from my kitchen side window. Venetian blinds on that window would afford more privacy.

Review 8:Beautiful view from the deck, lovely street with flowers in the neighbours' gardens. Very quiet and peaceful.

Review 9:It was cold no heating where the bedrooms were or lounge room so put a damper on the first night. The shower was dirty and needed a good clean.

Review 10:The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The Beds were comfortable and the place was very quiet had lots of space and in a good location.

Review 11:Other facilities not really up to scratch, would have liked to be able to hire tennis rackets to have a hit. Parking was a little cramped

Review 12:Neat, self-contained Unit. Nice big kitchen, huge balcony and pet friendly! Plenty of space for a family, but also good for just a couple.

Review 13:Microwave hard to work, no screen on door, would be great when using dryer in laundry or in summer to let air in. Needs curtain in kitchen on windows to block cold/heat out. Location a bit hard to find, needs street lighting.

Review 14:Very clean, spacious, enough bedding and pillows, spare heaters and fans for all weathers, working air/con/heating. Beds very comfortable, large table and 6 chairs plus 2 lounges. Big kitchen. Super quick washing machine and good dryer. Fantastic service by Admin staff on booking and followup calls.

Review 15:Double door partition in loung room to apartment next door??????? their CD player cranking doof doof music 9am coming right through. Get rid of the supplied CD players ( not necessary, only invite noise) and brick up the partition, I don't want to listen to neighbors noise or barking pets or odours that made me wonder who or what stayed before me. Staff were fine.

Review 16:Not expensive

Review 17:The bed was a little uncomfortable easy to hear neighbours

Review 18:access to all facilities like washing machine, full kitchen and dishwasher Across the road from Porstsea beach and Hotel

Review 19:Hot tub was cold, place smelt a bit musty but after opening windows it was fine but there were some cobwebs in the bedroom.

Review 20:Location was good, staff friendly. Relaxing holiday

Review 21:The kettle leaked,BBQ was dirty and the DVD player wasn't working.we had brought DVD with us but DVD player didn't work,we ended up having to buy one.there were dead bugs on the benches and I was given the wrong pin to get into the cottage had to call after hours to get the write pin.i was pretty disappointed as it was our first hoilday together as a family with our young daughters

Review 22:It was big enough for a family and kids was great that they had cots for our young children.

Review 23:The accommodation was very dusty and full of cobwebs. Terrible if you have family members with allergies. The curtains didn't block light out completely and the kitchen had no curtains at all. The accommodation had the smallest sign where to turn and if trying to locate your cottage at night, virtually impossible to see anything. Windows were open when we arrived so we were having to wait for the heater to kick in before we were comfortable.

Review 24:Cute cottage with all facilities provided. Value for money.

Review 25:Unfortunately, our cabin had been double booked and we had to shift accommodation which took us further from our work site. It also impacted on our time as we needed to pack up and relocate.

Review 26:Only had contact via telephone but staff member was bright and bubbly. All services advertised were offered and we were very comfortable.

Review 41:Bunk beds were uncomfortable. Could have have another single couch Cob webs in the bathroom above shower

Review 42:Friendly helpful Staff.

Review 43:people already in our allocated room on arrival and what to do?. More basic kitchen equipment for self caterers would be good

Review 44:location, nice & quiet except for other guests dogs in another unit yapping at 5am. Good size lounge area

Review 45:Never saw any staff. Didnt know which cottage we were in till we tried the codes on all, till one let us in. Beds a bit hard. The exhaust fan thick with fluff... unable to work properly.

Review 46:Nice and quite and private. Clean and comfortable.

Review 47:Mattress on main bed "VERY" worn and uncomfortable needs replacing urgently (could only stay one night due to not getting any sleep!!) Also found couch hard to sit on for any length of time!

Review 48:Quiet location with great facilities. Tennis court, spa, BBQ ect. Very clean and well presented.

Review 49:No lights @ entrance gate & street number not adequate to find in the dark!a sensor light would have been very helpful.Need better mattresses because the inner springs were felt.Tea towel not available to dry the dishesThe flies we're incredible inside the cottage.maybe a can of fly spray would be useful or fly screen door @ the entry.

Review 50:The tranquil surrounds amongst the Ti Trees & listening to the back beach surf @ night. The cottage was spacious & sunny in the mornings.Very clean.A relaxing 2 days with plenty of interesting places to walk & explore on the Peninsula?my daughter & I thoroughly enjoyed the 2 night R & R in such a quiet location after our hectic week in the cityWould definitely return in the warmer months

Review 51:wasn't long enough

Review 52:It was extremely quite and restful beautiful surroundings and perfect for my 89 year old mother who didn't have to cope with stairs or awkward shower facilities.

Review 53:Didn't understand to bring towels. Not sure how to get tennis rackets but would look into it more next time. Thought an extra %40 night for a child was steep. Really appreciated this being waivered as the kids are local to Blairgowrie. In our situation we don't know if we have kids with us or not until we get there.

Review 54:Great location. Loved the balcony.

Review 55:There was no iron and the spa pump was broken. The shower was very small and the upholstery looked very stained and dirty. There are 3 cottages but the first is less private than the others as the path to the spa and tennis court goes past this one.

Review 56:The deck, lounge and kitchen were nice and spacious. The cottage is in a quiet location and there is a nice garden around the tennis court. The spa was clean.

Review 57:The car park area was at times awkward to drive out of due to other cars parked in cottage 1 and 2.

Review 58:The accommodation was clean and in a good location.

Review 59:Quiet location, close to all facilities Anticipated requirements and had them clear and well presented

Review 60:Couldnt stay long enough

Review 61:Cute pittpe cabin felt very homely and comfortable will be going back again
