Review 1：Sleeping area was clean, BUT the bathroom was NOT. There was fecal matter on the handle of inside door to toilet and on the seat. GROSS. If this room was cleaned by the cleaning lady, she did a horrible job. I took a washcloth and cleaned it myself and threw it away. Did not tell my husband, as he would have made a huge scene. The bed was comfortable, but the bedding was not.

Review 7：After checking in late after a long drive from Chicago, we were upgraded at no additional fee to what I believe is the "presidential suite". It was HUGE with many rooms and the most fabulous bathroom! Was a really nice surprise after a long drive. Friendly staff and the room was just spectacular. Thanks le merigot!!!

Review 8：I bought this as a surprise honeymoon night for my brother and his fiancée. I wrote special directions in the booking and they were wonderful in fulfilling needs. The staff even wrote a card and gave chocolates! They also gave them a room with a gorgeous view of the river. All was accomplished in under 24 hours of booking!

Review 9：The room was a little pricey and quite a bit more than I was used to spending. I would have loved to stay an extra night but could not justify the cost for an extra night. However I was willing to splurge for my daughter to have a good time with her friends and for me and one of my bestie's to have a good time too! I would suggest to keep coffee and a snack out all day in the lobby for guests.

Review 10：The room was very nice and roomy. We absolutely loved the shower and the bed was so comfortable!! My adult daughter was so excited to see how close it was to Boogie Nights because we came especially for an event that was going on there that she and her friends planned on attending. No need to move our vehicle at all so the most perfect location!! The continental breakfast was very good and nice that it was served until checkout time. An overall fantastic experience!!!

Review 17：The toilet clogged on the first flush, i called down to the front desk which you can't use the FRONT DESK button on the handset, you dial 0 for operator and tell the operator which hotel front desk you need- very inefficient, please fix the phone- called down to get someone to fix it but in the mean time, please switch rooms, which first she would not, then i called back after 45 minutes since no one from maintenance showed up and asked her again to switch rooms, which reluctantly she did.

Review 23：Noticed dirty dishes in lobby (Blush) for at least 5 hours. Mama Mia's food was terrible, pre packaged items on pizza. Terrible sauce.

Review 24：The bed and the shower were absolutely wonderful. Soaps nice! Fire outside at night was very nice and peaceful. Cavandaugh's restaurant was out of this world for great food.

Review 25：The location was good, and the facility was fairly clean. My stay cost 194 dollars after all the taxes. I do not mind paying that much, but this is Evansville IN. Our room was somewhat “worn-in”. The hotel only had 1 working elevator during out stay. It was an “ok” stay overnight. The real issue started at 9:30 a.m. when we arrived at our “complementary breakfast”. It was a seat yourself buffet. Only problem was there was no hot food? After waiting a few minutes to see if anything would be brought out, I went to the front desk to ask if we would be able to eat (the sign says breakfast till 11a.m.) The desk lady did round up a person to put more food out. Unfortunately this hotel's version of a hot breakfast was a soggy croissant with a peace of cheese and an egg on it. What??? No other egg choices, no sausage, no bacon, no waffles, no pancakes, basically no nothing. Remember, this is a 194 dollar room in Evansville IN. I ate Corn Flakes and I can report thy were pretty damn good, almost like they just came from Wal-Mart Anyway, upon check out the lady never asked me how my stay was, so I asked her to ask me. When she did, I mentioned that I was a little put out by the fact there was no real breakfast with my stay as was promised to me. Her reply was “sorry, but that’s the way it is here”. No offer was made to make it up to me. I was not mad, just disappointed. I will stay 2 miles away next time and save 80 dollars. That way I will save enough to have a hot breakfast (and maybe even a good dinner later in the day). Good luck to all that read this…

Review 27：It was okay. The room was very noisy at night. We had an ice machineright across the hall. People would come all hours of the night to getice, and were very loud. I think you could have given me a seniorcitizen discount. I asked for one, but was denied.i think the rooms aretoo expensive, could not afford to stay 2 nights. For that price I thinkthe breakfast could have been better.

Review 30：We came to Evansville for an art showing and stayed at Le Merigot. The hotel was well located and we liked everything about the hotel. The bathroom was outstanding!!! If we have occasion to travel back to Evansville, we'll definitely stay at Le Merigot.

Review 31：Room small , tight and confining. No bench in shower , hard to shave legs. Coffee was awful in room and in dining room. Was not impressed with breakfast. Or dining area. Chairs worn out and dirty looking. Unpleasant staff at registration desk, didn't let us know where we could park. Had to go back in and ask. Very condescending.
