Review 1：Room 711 had a great view of the parking deck. No breakfast is available after 10am? 2 guests along with myself arrived at the buffet at 10:02 AM and would not be seated. We looked through the hotel for another venue but all were closed except for the coffee bar.

Review 2：only had view of parking lot on top of parking garage. Room was FILTHY!Blood on the bed cover, bathroom had hair all over it, carpet was gross!

Review 5：Besides being aesthetically pleasing, impeccably clean, and modern, the VERY BEST part we liked was that everything was available in one location. It was so convenient to go to the wide variety of restaurants/bars via the attached indoor walkway to the casino. The food was excellent, the atmosphere inviting, and a wide variety to choose from--casual to upscale. We LOVED the valet parking and the parking garage facility! The room was quiet, clean, modern, and nicely appointed. Finally, the location was so easy to find AND the view on the riverfront was awesome! We will return! Also, we got an excellent special rate from BOOKING.COM.

Review 6：The third shift front desk clerk gave us a different room then what we had requested online. Plus she was rude and hateful she had a major attitude. Some things in bathroom were not clean. There was a film in toliet and around bottom of it. We were very tired that we went to store and brought cleaner and cleaned it up to avoid dealing with desk clerk again. Other than that not to bad..

Review 7：The bed was so comfortable. Hotel location close to entertainment.

Review 8：The food was terrible...ate breakfast buffet, kids couldn't eat food was over salty over cooked and sausage was way peppered....husband and I ate at the steak restaraunt prime rib was bland $100 dinner for two and it was terrible. The rooms carpeting was stained and dingy, looked much bigger in the pictures, no fridge to put anything. Our view was the parking garage...the online said the river

Review 10：Fire alarms went off early in morning and they gave no explanation or anything so made very hard to go back to sleep ruined whole trip. No apology or anything at check out very disappointed.

Review 16：Stayed there during the weekend of the air show. Very convenient. I was able to walk to the air show. Everyone I came across from the coffee shop server to the front desk was very helpful and kind. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable.

Review 24：Greeted by professional staff created a great first impression. The speed of check-in was amazing. The room we had was nice and my request of a quiet room was granted. Everything from linens to the modern and updated bathroom to the nice flat screen television to the VERY comfy bed made our visit welcoming. We will definitely be back!

Casino was ok if you are into gambling but only small. We only spent a half hour there and ended up in the bar talking to other vacationers. Bartender friendly and helpful with information about the area.

Review 38：I did not care for the fast food presentation of room service breakfast. Food was ok, but I thouht it ''didn't taste as good'' in take out containers. Breakast on sterofoam, flimsy paper napkins and delivered in a large paper bag is tacky in a nice hotel.

Review 39：The location, loved the river view. I was pleasantly surprised that the rooms have a luxury decor. It was very similar to the 4 star hoteI in Rome I recently visited. They have done a very nice job redoing this hotel.

Review 40：I made a reservation thru Booking.com while traveling en route to Evansville, Indiana. The purpose of our trip was to clean out my grandmother's house after she entered a nursing home. We were driving from New Orleans, Louisiana. I had called twice to let the front desk know we would be arriving very late. Upon arrival, we were informed they had given our non-smoking room to someone else and all they had left was a smoking room. I explained we had our 8 year old grandson and I had reserved a non-smoking room. Firstly, the front desk clerk mispronounced my last name TWICE, including after repeating it to him. Secondly, the clerk snidely informed me that reserving a room with a credit card only guaranteed a room but not whether it was smoking or not. Then why offer the option? The clerk was inflexible and we ended up spending the night in the car, in my grandmother's driveway. All other, and I mean, all other hotels were filled because of a Jehovah Witness convention in town. We slept in the car, in my grandmother's driveway. I didn't have keys to get in because I had the locks changed and the office didn't open until 9am. Locks were changed because we had no idea how many neighbors had keys. A very stressful trip, only worsened by the non-available room and nowhere else to stay. The next night I called Holiday Inn Express, that also said they were fully booked until explaining why I was in town but they offered us an upgrade. Tropicana did no such thing and cared little about why were in town. We wanted to stay at the Tropicana, hoping to make the trip slightly less stressful by haivng views of the river, our grandson would have loved that. Tropicana was unfriendly and unaccommodating. And I realize it's affiliated with the riverboat casino located across the street from the establishment where there could be smoking patrons.

Review 41：It had a down town "Las Vegas" feel in the casino but had all the modern day and upscale amenities a hotel should have. Lots of dining choices, reasonable drink prices, and the room was exceptionally clean and the bathroom was very modern.

Review 42：I would have liked to see a booklet or pamphlet about where places were located, such as ice & vending and also restaurants and interesting places around town for people not familiar with Evansville.

Review 44：The bathroom in our hotel room was unclean. There was hair (including pubic hair) on the bathroom floor and in the shower. As far as the actual room.....The glasses looked dirty. The ashtrays were not well cleaned. There was no refrigerator. They had options to fill out a breakfast menu and a survey of our stay, but there were no ink pens.
