Review 1：We find it convenient to all amenities such as cafés, supermarkets, retail and the beach all within walking distance. You don't have to use your car if the don't mind walking up the steep hills, but that's yamba.

Review 13：Upgrades to Motel are a huge improvement. Very central to all amenities. Staff were very efficient and helpful. The restaurant catering and service staff were particularly helpful in catering for our group. Would certainly return.
Review 14：We were on a road trip to Brisbane so for 1 night, it was great. Most likely would not stay there for more than 2 nights as the facilities are very limited. There was a great balcony, shame the view was of the car park and back of other buildings. Overall though, not a big deal, will definitely stay there again.
Review 15：The location is perfect, wished we had the time to stay longer. The beach was right next to the hotel so you can hear the waves. The lady who had greeted us was the most friendliest and helpful hostess I have come across any hotel for a long time. The bed was extremely comfortable. Thank you for a good night's stay.

Review 23：Jug needed replacing as well as iron and ironing board. Cleaning staff need to pay attention to detail get rid of toothpaste that's left in bathroom cupboard and dust!! Broken shutters need to be replaced. Not worth $160 per night

Review 25：Not enough car spaces for number of rooms.. and you needed car to get to most places other than your daily walks and swimming. So when you did venture out further.. alas no parking on return!!
Review 26：Relieving managers at property during our stay.. so we didn't get to meet owners/resident managers, however relieving couple were excellent. Room was good but would definitely choose upstairs next time. to gain a little bit of the wonderful view.

No hospitality at all - passive aggressive attitude made us feel like they were doing us a favour just letting us in the room that we had already paid for. Room was dark, dirty and smelly with a nasty cleaning product smell. Do not go here for a holiday. Pay a little extra and stay next door at The Cove instead!!

Review 98：It was a wonderful location and our balcony overlooking Main beach was so private we had all our meals there. The only problem was that our stay was far too short we would've loved a week or more there.
Review 99：We stayed in the loft room and found it perfectly comfortable. The welcome from the owner on a rainy Sunday night was absolutely lovely. The position of the motel is absolutely fantastic for both the beach and the Pacific Hotel - what more do you need?

Review 103：Proximity to the beach and the beautiful headland. The view was not from our balcony however just a short walk from our room. The cost per night and being able to book for only one night were also highs in our books. Real milk for tea and coffee.
Review 104：I realise it is a motel and not a serviced apartment (I was in Unit 7) but the cooking equipment was very basic (more like camping), the pot took ages to boil, there was no chair for my mother-in-law when she came to visit. These are minor considerations, however.

Review 107：We found a band aid and other rubbish in the room. I accidently spilt a cup of tea and used a face washer to clean it up. The manager gave me a hard time saying that she took skin off her hand getting the washer clean. For $170 a night (most expensive room), I'm sure a $1 washer is nothing.....

Review 109：I had booked a family room for 2 people. When I first arrived I informed the female manager that I was alone on Friday night, but that on Saturday night a friend would be joining me. The manager then told me that I needed to pay an extra $20. I resisted this. She told me that because the single bed in the family room was also being used in addition to the double bed that $20 was payable. I explained I had booked for 2 people and there were only 2 people on one night. The manager then said not to worry about it and that it was a fault with your website and that apparently the What if website did not have this problem. When arriving at accommodation is not a very nice welcome to be asked to be to pay extra money and then have to defend one's position through no fault of my own.
