Review 17：With no air conditioning we were forced to open the windows that faced a loud mechanical area on an unseasonably hot night. Request for fan denied. Staff was not concerned with our discomfort and offered nothing to help. A sweaty sleepless night when we most needed rest.

Review 19：Bathrooms are badly laid out. Couldn't use the sink in our bathroom without standing in the shower cubicle. Room was quite noisy as it faces the main road. Also, no safe in the room. The hotel was quite busy during our stay and the breakfast staff couldn't cope - uncleared tables, no food in the containers, no cups, no cutlery etc.

Review 21：i didn't like the fact that the teas and sugar was never topped up, had to provide this myself. i do know now that this person does not work at the hotel but do please tell the barista from the cafe downstairs to be nicer to people as he was very rude when I have asked him politely for something. and please inform people of the minibar deposit.

Review 23：Cleanliness: The room was extremely dusty, even after second round of cleaning things like lamps or bed frame were still dusty. Also, the cleaner did not make the bed in a professional way. Facilities: One lightbulb did not work but staff did not seem to be bothered despite several complaints. The shower was cold half of the time. Room interior is older than it looks on the pictures.

Review 28：Breakfast can be quite crowded. There is construction and a fair amount of traffic in front of the hotel as a result this location is not ideal for those who have trouble sleeping. The bathroom and shower are quite small.

Review 30：We had a business double room, with a view out to the street. Curretly, the is a MASSIVE construction project next door, so there is a LOT of noise starting at 0700. You have to close the window so room gets hot. Also bathroom door is heavily spring loaded so slams shut after every use. We gad to prop it open with a chair.

Review 77：The bedroom are extremely small (no wardrobe / just a chair to put your clothes on). The bathroom was also very tiny. The bedroom/bathroom were not very cleaned and although we stayed there for 3 nights, they were not cleaned once (towels not changed, floor not hoovered, cups and glasses not cleaned after use)... The cleaningness was also lacking in the breakfast area (tables not cleaned, plates/glasses/cutlery dirty)!! We were told that breakfast on weekend days started at 08.00 (although it is advertised at 07.30 in the lift and their brochure). We got down for 08.00 to find out that all locals were already having breakfast and some were finishing!!! This caused us to depart later than expected for our excursions and missed out on ferry timing!!

Review 78：The location of the hotel is perfect - right in the heart of Stavanger and very close to the ferry terminal which is very handy. The breakfast had a very large selection of foods and drinks.

There was no butter available and when I askled the waiter, he replied in showing me the margarine bin which other people had been using explaining that they used to have butter, but people were complaining that it was too hard, so they had changed to margarine. There even was a mini bar we took advantage of. The bed was the most comfortable I've had in a long time. The location was prime and the bus from the airport dropped us right in front of the hotel. Review 103：The room was really small, almost like a prison cell. It didnt looked anything like the pictures. The bed was small as well, wasnt sure if it was a bed or some kind of a sofa with a matress - eventhough it was quite comfortable. Wifi was available but periodically with several problems. Something that has not to do so much with the hotel, was that horrible sound of the many seagulls every morning screeching :)

Review 136：Room I booked was not available. The room provided had the worst view of any hotel I have stayed in. Dirty walls, mould and air conditioning ducts. Over 4 nights 5 times the room keys failed to work. Charges were made against my credit card 3 times on one day and once the next day before I paid the bill on checkout. I rang the hotel about this from Bergen as there was over $1500 pending on my card. The reception staff did not seem to be well trained in their job.

Review 138：Room was from the street side, what makes it pretty noisy even that the street itself is not that busy. During check in hotel blocks the amount to pay for the stay + additionally 300 NOK daily (for security reason in case you use minibar). That’s ok, but no one informed us about this upfront, even during check in itself. Wi-fi in the room is not of a good speed at all.

Review 139：Location is great! Bus from/to the airport stops just few meters from the hotel. 2 blocks from the harbor. Breakfast can satisfy everyone's taste. Room is very clean and well equipped. Receptionists were friendly and helpful
