Reviews for Villa Lukka

Review 1:A beautifully and functionally decorated bungalow, amazing location between mountains and sea with the beach, local restaurants & interesting sightseeing nearby. Advise on the area was given and the hosts were flexible on checking in and out.

Review 2:The mattress was a little hard.

Review 3:The setting is really beautiful and so peaceful. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and to the main street with restaurants. The bungalow was very clean. Restaurant and hotel staff were super friendly. Great food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

Review 4:Nothing. It was wonderful

Review 5:Exotic location, relaxed Indonesian type atmosphere with accommodation being individual wooden beach huts (with all mod cons including double shower) set in lush gardens with a restaurant/café on the beach for plentiful breakfasts. But in Turkey with all its rich history and culture. The beach had remains of an ancient city one end and spectacular spontaneous fires which have been burning since antiquity emanating from a rock face on the Lycian way the other end. What is there not to like?

Review 6:Though the bungalows are nice, the facilities at the seaside are far from what you would expect from a hotel in that price range. Speaking of the hotels in Turkey, in that price range one can expect the hotel to have an area reserved solely for guests, which, unfortunately, was not the case at all. The sun beds are open to all and therefore you need to get up early to secure a place. Since it is a very big public beach, this also means that you need to keep an eye on your personal belongings all the time, which is rather annoying and tiring (keep in mind that I've had things stolen on that beach one, not at this hotel but elsewhere). Also note that the shower, toilet etc. facilities at the beach area are rather poor, badly kept and dirty for that price range. I understand that due to legal restrictions it might be difficult for the hotel to secure a place on the sandy area just for the hotel guests, but then they should have a guest area at the location by the road, where the restaurant is currently located, either by allocating a part of the restaurant space or by acquiring additional land (which is the case for at least one other hotel in Cirali I've stayed at, so if they tell you no hotel in the area has such facilities, that is not true). Apparently, instead they have chosen to make as much money as possible out of the beach restaurant and that is a pity. After all, you spend most of your day by the sea and if, after paying twice as much when compared to most of the establishments in Cirali, I will have not have good facilities at the beach, there is not much point in staying at Villa Lukka. One could as well stay at a cheaper place, with slightly less chic bungalows/rooms...or, alternatively pay a little more and stay at Olympos Lodge, which has a large and lovely private guest area.

Review 7:The bungalows are nice, comfortable, efficiently designed, with attention to things the guest might need such as a safe, kettle, fridge etc. The hotel also has a good restaurant, probably the best in Cirali.

Review 8:What an incredible stay! It's a slice of uninterrupted, secluded paradise - truly unforgettable. I stayed here couple of times and through years it never dropped the quality of service. Dont miss the Breakfast!

Review 11:A tad expensive compared to the rest.

Review 12:Superb wooden cabin set in a peaceful garden, beautifully decorated with lovely fabrics and cushions. Very clean with a lovely modern bathroom. Great to have breakfast on the beach just a few minutes walk away. Altogether a lovely one night experience.

Review 13:In wintertime Cirali is quiet. Many restaurants are closed. That didn't bother us, but might be important to know for other tourists who expect more activity. This laid-back season also seemed to have affected our staff. They were probably not as mindful as usual with providing us with towels, toiletpaper and cleaning.

Review 14:Nice bungalow in a small-scale park close to the beach. Excellent breakfasts. Pleasant people, although not everyone speaks English (well). Also in winter the bungalow stays warm enough by the heating system.

Review 15:Food is bet expensive but very good

Review 16:Perfect place for relxsation Food is amazing Wifi is very good Very close to the beach Very neat If you decide to go to Cirali, you should go to villa Lukka

Review 17:You have to walk about 200 meter in order to reach the beach and the restaurant. It would be better if we had a stronger wi-fi.

Review 18:Very nice room and garden design. Everyday cleaning. The hotel restaurant "Karakuş" is the best restaurant among the others we tried. We ate very delightful breakfasts and the best sea fishes there.Villa Lukka is the best among other hotels in Cıralı and Cıralı is the best place if you are looking peace, nature and clean sea. We would like to go there again..

Review 19:No complaints.

Review 20:Great location, clean, comfortable and extremely beautiful. A little piece of paradise. This is our second trip within 6 weeks. Suleiman the hotel manager is very friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful. We also recommend Karakus the restaurant of the hotel, this is where breakfast is served, which is great, their lunch and dinner is also excellent. Ali provides excellent service. We normally eat at Karakus every night, it is the best food in Cirali.

Review 21:The fact that there is no restaurant on the premises and and that for breakfast we had to walk rather further than the 200 metres advertised to the restaurant associated with Villa Lukka that is on the beach. Would have been wonderful if there had been a pool as well. These comments apply to most of the similar establishments at Cirali, though, not just the Villa Lukka.

Review 22:The setting was very pretty and the gardens beautifully cared for. The manager, Suleiman, did everything he could to make the stay enjoyable.

Review 23:Breakfast on the beach is wonderful but they could do more to delete the hundreds of flies.

Review 24:So very peaceful.

Review 25:amazing place ...one of the best in this area

Review 26:- Amazing bungalows with everything you might need - quiet garden with nice spaces to relax - fantastic breakfast - very helpful staff

Review 27:Everything

Review 28:A little further from the beach than we understood ( 5 min walk)

Review 29:Lovely decorated lodges, & lovely local area.

Review 30:Everything, especially the cordial and professional staff

Review 31:Lovely garden with great villas. The "hotel restaurant"is at the beach, 350m away, so it´s a little inconvenient. Great staff both at hotel and at restaurant.

Review 32:Nothing at all

Review 33:If you are looking for a peaceful, friendly place in nature, you are at the right place. This is our second stay and will not be the last ;) p.s: thanks a lot for the orange jam :)

Review 34:Nothing.

Review 35:We only stayed one night but would have been happy to stay longer. Lovely room, twin shower and comfortable bed. Lovely gardens to sit out in to relax. Nice beach 200m where you eat can dine in the evening. Owner has a restaurant there where you have breakfast.

Review 36:The internet was not good, and hard to connect to room our room.

Review 37:Villa Lukka is a beautiful hotel in Cirali. The staff were helpful and accommodating, the rooms were clean, and beautifully decorated. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and it was just lovely, although all the rooms looked very nice. The gardens are lush, and colorful with stunning flowers, plants, and fruit trees. We can't wait to go back and have just booked our next trip. I forgot to mention that the breakfast, which is served in Karakas restaurant on the beach is fabulous.

Review 38:I wish I stayed more. Beautiful garden and hut with all necessaries. Breakfast was very good and access to pebble beach with beach towels and chairs are available.

Review 39:We were only here one night, but wished it had been at least a week. Lovely separate bungalow, spacious and well decorated, in a lovely garden setting with wonderful views. Staff was attentive and very helpful to the point that Suleyman Bey, the manager made a call to insure that our rental car drop off at the airport was seamless. Very close to the beach and a wonderful breakfast in a restaurant on the beach.

Review 40:nothing

Review 41:We loved every moment of our stay. Great host, great location. The way they have decorated the rooms is the best if ı compare to any other bungalow stay I had in the past. The garden is a paradise. Our 3 year old loved it too. Thank you!

Review 42:It takes a while for the hot water to come, especially for #11.

Review 43:Private bungalows are ideal for privacy. Orange trees make a very nice environment. Breakfasts were fabulous. Overall I really liked this place.

Review 44:We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Lukka - great views of the mountain from the beautiful gardens. The staff were universally helpful and welcoming, and we loved the breakfast at the restaurant on the beach.

Review 45:The cottages are some distance to the beach and the walk is not particularly pleasant. Taking into account the price relatively high of the accomodation and the distance to the beach, a swimming pool would be welcome.

Review 46:The cottages are lovely and very clean. Very nice garden. The breakfast was excellent. Dinner was also good. The manager was very helpfull and friendly.

Review 47:Breakfast is awesome but restaurant staff can be more attentive. Maybethey're tired from the hot summer sun. I recommend doing somethingabout the flies (insect).

Review 48:Love it! The compound's garden in summer is a spectacular display ofnature's beauty. I wish I could stay there longer. Room is spaciouswith a dressing area connected to bathroom, which I find to be a greatidea as it separated our messy suitcase from the room where we sleep. It's not easy to keep wooden structures keep and having everything functioning, but they've done well. Both the owner and hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. Easy to get to the Chimera from here. We drove in 2 km to reach the foothill and trekked 900m up to see the fire. The beach is 200m away. That's where you get your morning breakfast provided by the hotel.

Review 49:we stayed at Villa Lukka for 2 days but we wished we had come earlier and stayed more days. i suppose this is the most beautiful place to stay at Çıralı. every room looks to beautiful mountains and a fascinating garden. the rooms were very well decorated and very satisfying. The personnel was very kind and helpful. For those coming by their cars, there is parking lot in front of the hotel. the hotel is just 180 metres away from the seaside and you walk througha very nice road with fruit trees. the hotel has a restaurant along the sea coast and the breakfast is served there. also the fish and all the food at that restaruant were of great quality. i highly recommend Villa Lukka without a reservation. it may also be a very good choice for honeymoon.

Review 50:The internet did not work on any computer or smart phone we had, so that was very annoying.

Review 51:We very much liked the company of various animal friends, the nature and having privacy in the garden and on our own terrace.

Review 52:You need to be careful about transportation , ask " zaneb " toarrange always ..cost of transportatioin is on the High Side ..

Review 53:It’s a village, super location, in my opinion Villa Luka is the bestcompound in that area .. In that place you have ( The Sun , the sea ,the river , the mountain , and heritage ) What else do you need? TheStaff ( Suliman ) is a multi tasking person , all in one .. The bossZaneb , is a good character , she is enjoying the business , we wenttogether in a boat trip – out of the world .. ( From the compound to acoast that you reach only by boat ) .. One more thing – The breakfast>> its not a breakfast its a lunch >> ha ha ha Thanks toMourad and Basher !! wonderful guys ..

Review 54:Location&every thingis very nice ,I will go back as May as I can.
