Review 4：Excellent service, extremely caring and thoughtful management and staff. Best location to watch sun rise and the destination dinner at the beach was an amazing experience. Everything was perfect during my stay. Overall experience better than four seasons where I stayed couple years back.

The Banyan Tree Samui WOW, it is simply jaw dropping, a fantastic hotel in a superb stunning location. The facilities are first class, the food and I mean all food is at least michelin one level and beyond brilliant. The staff are very tentative and always wanting and trying to assist and help at all times. I congratulate the manager and the entire team of this hotel.

Review 25：I travelled with a bunch of friends and so we took two two-bedroom villas, each with a private swimming pool. These were awesome. Everything was faultless but the most impressive aspect of our stay was the staff. They just could not do enough to ensure we were well taken care of and enjoying our time. The whole group has traveled together for more than a decade and stayed in some of the best hotels singularly or as a group, the Banyan is definitely one of the best.

Review 26：Staff service is not good, requested for a taxi and they never arrange it until the third request! Besides, toiletries are not refill. Drinking water privided is only normal filtered water.

Review 28：We booked the Ocean Pool Villa, which says Stunning views of the Ocean, we were given a room with no view of the ocean, we complained and were told that this was a partial view and that the pictures on booking.com were incorrect an not accurate and they could let booking.com know... The manager was great and eventually made up for their error, after I threatened to leave, and put us in a Royal room which was simply breathtaking

Review 37：The food was ok. Some dishes were delicious and others were very mediocre. The hotel is located on a compound so unless you take a bus shuttle out of the compound, you don't experience much of the culture in the area. I stayed here for a week and another hotel for a week. I highly recommend doing that.

Review 38：I had a personal cell phone for all my needs, the rooms were amazing, the reception was very hospitable, the staff was very accomodating, it was incredible.

Review 39：The Chinese villa host was a buzzkiller for this trip, definitely a big no no for next time! Not good at communicating when we tried to book a sunset sailing. no call and no show before we check out, not playing a professional host role. If you can speak some basic english , I would always recommend a local thai villa host , they know much better how to make your stay more fun and the local staffs are more friendly and patient.

Review 41：it's not about Koh Samui or other places, because it's only Banyan Tree Koh Samui that made our trip the most memorable one this time. We spent 5 days in the resort, mostly in the resort, indulging in our own swimming pool, or lying on the perfect private beach. The restaurants are also all great too. though the price of the stay is a little bit higher than our usual acceptance, i have to to say it's just worthy it.

Review 100：Loved the sea views, private infinity pool and buffet breakfast. All the staff were very friendly and attentive! Especially our personal concierge Bird! It was our honeymoon so our room bed and bath was scattered with rose petals which was a romantic touch! We also received a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival.

Review 101：It was kind of tedious asking for a golf-cart whenever we wanted toleave the room. Although they were prompt and available whenever we needone, we felt dependant on them whenever we wanted to move (whether itwas out of the hotel or to the main building and breakfast buffet). Butthe hotel grounds are huge and the need for carts is justified.Banyan Tree truly defines luxury but that came with a hefty price (more than US$ 1000 per night). It was ridiculously expensive. The spa was also expensive and not really worth the cost. We had better massages and treatments at much cheaper prices in other places.

Truly one of a kind.We loved the room design, privacy and view from our villa. Very nicely decorated and designed. We had a sunbed area, jaccuzi, infinity pool and a shaded deck. The view from our room was insane! The room and all its facilities were top notch and the staff were fantastic.
