Review 1：Parking space in the immediate area is limited unless you drive a small car.

Review 2：Comfortable room, nice surroundings especially in the evenings (nice lake!).

Review 3：Disappointed about busines class room, have payed much biger price to get a business class room, but was really disappointed about quality. If room has sofa it doesn't mean its business class!!! Breakfast is really poor, cant even get omlet with kam and cheese.

The hotel doesn't have parking, and the offer a public parking place that is far from the hotel and the hotel's personal said they are not responsible for the parking facilities.

Review 8：Very noisy street outside. Traffic noise and gangs of Africans shouting until 4 in the morning. Shabby and unsafe area at the back of the hotel. No wardrobe space. Had to put underwear on the window sill.

Review 11：I LOVED this Thon hotel. I normally wouldn't wake up early for hotel breakfast food, but it was so worth it! And the nice thing is that they serve breakfast until 11am on weekends, so I was able to sleep in some more. The staff is so so amazing & extremely helpful. Shout out to the gentleman (I forget his name :() and Emma working at the receptionist. The two made my experience there so pleasant. I can't recommend this place enough!

Review 35：The room was completely airtight: no windows that could be opened, a totally ineffective fan, and a centralized heating system that couldn't be regulated because the wall-mounted controls were broken. This seems to have been a known issue because the staff had left a tiny table fan in the corner of the room, which they apparently deemed sufficient to cool the room.

Review 40：My wife wasn't struck on the narrow (80 cm) bed. Downside of the central location was a certain amount of noise from the street. But then we did visit during a public holiday, and when Norwegians party, they party. Window had to be wedged open if you needed fresh air. Main grouse: no car park!!!! Had to use railway station, which charges 10 kr per hour. Five minutes walk back to hotel: which wouldn't have been funny in poor weather.

Review 41：Even by Norwegian standards, the breakfasts were amazing - the range, the quality, the presentation. Wow. Wi fi - good signal, getting online was a doddle. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Right on the edge of the town centre, a few minutes' walk to the good restaurants. NB I am English and I spell centre just like that so don't you tell me it's spelt center because that's how Americans do it and they are wrong about this as about so much else. :)

Review 49：Excellent location right by the harbour where all the tours departs from and restaurants and cafes close by, professional and friendly staff, especially the reception ladies who were extremely helpful and went out of their way to assist us. Fantastic breakfast buffet with plenty of fresh fruit, cold meats, vegetables, fish and cheese, cereals, mueslis, nuts, seeds, pastries, cookies, cooked food items such as bacon, eggs, potatoes, mushrooms and beans etc, make your owns waffles which were delicious, variety of fresh breads, rolls and croissants- the list goes on! Delicious buffet with great quality products and freshly stocked! Excellent wifi in our room, clean fresh bedding and towels each day and did I mention they have a nespresso machine with a variety of coffee capsules that you can help yourself to 24/7? Best of all they gave us a 6pm check out on the sunday which meant we didnt have to wiat out in the cold until our airport transfer arrived (which is practically a 1 min walk from the hotel) Absolutely loved our stay! We didn't want to leave!

Review 59：Stayed in Stavanger for just 2 day only for a short visit to Preikestolen. The hotel it's just a 300 meters form the ferry terminal where the tour start. Rooms where ok and the staff was very professional. The breakfast was simply great.

Review 70：Very warm during Summer (stayed there in July 2014). This's the first time I had to use a small fan in a hotel room (reception was kind enough to lend me a fan. Looks like the hotel is aware of this heat problem). The window in the room can't be open fully, so it doesn't help ventilation. There isn't a kettle in the room too. So no boiling water available. The only option is to go downstairs to the restaurant to get warm water from coffee dispenser. But again, the lift is a little slow too.

Review 71：Excellent location. Just located by Lake Breiavatnet, & along the route which Flybussen, the airport shuttle, takes. It only takes 1 to 2 mins to get to Stavanger main bus terminal, & about 5 mins to train station. Size of the "Standard Single Room" & bathroom is big enough & comfortable for 1 person. Reception staff is helpful & proactive.

Poor breakfast services: i) half of food plates were empty at 9:30am and never been refilled (bfast serves till 10:30am, supposed) ; ii) one of the waitress called cheryl was very rude, kept staring at customers and claimed that was her duty to observe people and warn them if they act strangely, like taking too much food. Coffee/tea machine at the lobby was broken at the period of my stay, no staff came to help. A lot of tour groups stay in the hotel, quite noisy sometimes.

The rest of the breakfast was fine, although one morning it was like Grand Central Station, when we walked in on what appeared to be a tour group all having breakfast at the same time and had great difficulty finding a table to eat at, until a kind woman indicated she was shortly leaving her place. The staff were friendly and helpful, but thought the silly headgear they had to wear for midsummer was a bit too much - would have been better if everyone just wore flowers or leis.
